This is the greatest rock album ever made, in my opinion. The poetic writing, the incredible musicianship, and the heavily overdubbed production combine into a brilliant sound.
Bruce is like no other. "Jungleland", "The Rising", "Blinded By The Light", "Tenth Avenue Freeze Out", "Rosalita" - just to name a few! Definitely try to check out some of his live performances.
his live performances are incredible. I love a few songs but when I saw him in concert I was blown away. The energy, performance was so powerful that I never sat down. I say, watch everything you can see live...
You gone and done it now, BizMatik. This is his anthem, IMO. Great lyrics are what "The Boss" is known for. Deep dive for sure..😎. Voice will grow on ya. This album and Darkness On The Edge Of Town are 🔥🔥
I'm from Detroit. I had to get to get my family out of there. We're scared every time we went to visit. We're old now so we don't go back anymore. Bruce is awesome! He was Bruce Springsteen & the E Street Band. You have a wide selection of great songs to check out. Saw him in concert twice! He played with so much energy! I agree with everyone's comments & suggestions. ☮
Seen him 4 times in concert, shows are 3 hours. Long list of songs to choose from - Born in the USA, Human Touch, Rosalita on and on. Enjoy the trip!!.
Bruce grew up in coastal New Jersey in the Asbury Park area. Many of his earlier songs are about his experiences. The sax player is Clarence Clemmons (RIP). Look him up. Cool dude. Bruce played guitar. His concerts were high energy (saw him 4 times) and I never saw a show that was less than 3 hours. Watch this song live. It's out there on You Tube.
Bruce had a regular band behind him for most part. His heyday was later 70s and 80s. Nobody was bigger than Bruce in his heyday. Huge catalog. Born in the USA and Thunder road are big hits as was Born to Run.
Greetings from Canada, eh!!! As a die hard fan from his first album "Greetings from Ashbury Park" in 1973 to his latest release "Letter to You" last year, and proudly attended more than 30 shows, welcome to E Street!! As Bruce likes to shout at his shows "Ladies and Gentlemen, you have just seen The heart stopping, pants dropping, earth shocking, hard rockin, booty shakin, earth quakin. love makin, viagara takin, history making, LEGENDARY E STREET BAND!!!! He's 73 now and going back on tour next year. His shows are usually 3 to 4 hours long, so maybe now, it'll be only 3!! He is the greatest live performer ever to strap on a guitar and you really need to learn about the band, especially the late great "BIG MAN" on the saxophone Clarence Clemons. So much to tell, I'm sure all the comments will catch you up!!
THUNDER ROAD, JUNGLE LAND, I'M ON FIRE, DANCING IN THE DARK, GLORY DAYS, TENTH AVENUE FREEZE OUT. One of Americas best songwriters. On par with Bob Dylan, and Tom Petty.
There are so many great song from Bruce. He’s known as the Boss! Try Glory Days, Hungry Heart, Cover Me, Born in the USA, I’m On Fire, The River to name just a few!
Bruce Springsteen and the E Street band are fantastic ! There are so many songs for you to discover biz and since you love lyrics, you will love one of the greatest story tellers in music ! Jungleland has an incredible sax solo. 10th ave freezout, Hungry Heart, Backstreets, Thunder road and the entire Born in the USA album which is in my top ten albums of all time ! keep the Boss reactions coming !!
I don't know where to begin. Bruce is an epic songwriter and showman. I have been to 37 of his shows, they are all over three hours and 30 song carnival rides, Packed Arenas, stadiums and festivals; Raucous Rock and Roll sing-alongs; exhilarating; exhausting. His Fandom (As you can see from the comments) is massive. Folks who know OF him will mention Born to Run, Born in the USA, Thunder Road, Dancing in the Dark. Etc. And they are his biggest commercial successes to be sure. But those who REALLY know him and his catalog will mention Jungleland, Rosalita, No Surrender, Badlands, Darkness of the Edge of Town, Promise Land, 10th Avenue Freeze-out and Racing in the Street as more emblematic of his catalog.. My suggestion is to check out the carnival, with Light of Day (LIve in New York) and then a really early version of Rosalita Rosalita (Come Out Tonight) (Phoenix, 78) (from Thrill Hill Vault 1976-1978)
Been rocking to this tune since 75’. E Street band is flush with top tier talent, The big man Clarence Clemons on Sax, Max Weinberg on drums, Little Steven VanZant on guitar and back up vocals (was Silvio on the Sopranos). Bruce singing playing guitar and writing, a very very prolific song writer. Yeah, lots of worthy material with these guys. All legends actually. Probably a couple of band members I’m forgetting off the top of my head.
Did you ask who SPRINGSTEEN is?!?! The man's Wiki page would probably take 20 pieces of paper to print! 🤣🤣💯💯 One of the QUINTESSENTIAL American Songwriters!!!
Omg there are so many great songs. So many. Anything off Born To Run. My fave album is Nebraska. It's more somber but the stories he paints are incredible. He is the GOAT for a reason. Rosalita is fun. I love that song.
Huge catalog, Biz. I second the motion for "10th Avenue Freeze Out." That might be my favorite Bruce song ever. Also, "Darkness on the Edge of Town." That's Clarence Clemons on the sax, RIP. Thanks for sharing.
I wasn't a big fan of Springsteen at first. A friend of mine, who was a big fan, bought this album the day it was released. I stopped by and listened to it, while reading the lyrics. Pure poetry. The man can write a song. Been a fan ever since. Bizmatic, really enjoy watching you enjoy a song.
Yesss such an iconic song🔥🔥 This whole album all the way through is fantastic, definitely his best. Amazing storyteller. One of my favorites from him is Rosalita (Come Out Tonight). Something about songs with the name Rosie, just so good😂🔥
Bruce is the "everyman". Born blue collar, from the Jersey shore. He was on Broadway, and he worked so hard, multiple encores. He's a working class hero.
Except he's a woke socialist....NOT for the working man. He's okay being rich...but don't let the working man get ahead of HIM...he hates this country.
I'm not a big Bruce fan but I have to admit that this song is amazing. I personally don't think he ever bettered it. It stands out and stands the test of time.
OMG Bro!! The Boss’s catalog is vast! I cannot write down all the great tunes he has recorded! I literally write down at least 30 plus songs to listen to. If I was to choose one song it would be the live version from 1978 of Prove It All Night! I think that song had the very best guitar intro ever but it has to be the live version from 1978. It is so good there are about half a dozen versions of that song at different venues in 1978! It’s that great!!!
I gave you a like just for that little sing along at the end. Every Bruce fan has done that. This is prob my favorite album. I remember a girlfriend of mine let me borrow her Walkman so I could listen to the tape of this album. I literally stayed up all night long listening to it. Thunder Road is my favorite Bruce ever, but man, when those drums start this song, it does something to me. What I love about Bruce's writing is how you can vonnect with it in two levels. He is a great song writer (listen to the songs on Nebraska and you'll see what I'm talking about) but he is also a great emotional writer. You not only hear the lyrics he wants to convey but you hear the emotion he is trying to convey as well. That's harder than it sounds and not a lot of artists have that ability. Otis Redding can do it, Janice Joplin can do it, Pink Floyd can do it and Bruce does it.
Around 1973 Bruce Springsteen was on the cover of either Time or Newsweek magazine under a headline that read "I have seen the future of Rock & Roll and its'name is Bruce Springsteen". He certainly lived up to that headline and was able to re-invent himself artistically a number of times over a career spanning 5 decades. He was a notorious perfectionist and this one track alone took over 6 months in the studio before he was happy with it and then moved on to the rest of the album.
I would just put the needle to the front of the record you were just listening to and listen the whole thing... that´s your best introduction to Bruce Springsteen.
Bruce Springsteen and The E Street Band ruled the airwaves in the 70's and 80's. "Born To Run" is the Official State Song of New Jersey, according to most folks. His other huge hit is "Born In The U.S.A.", because it was quoted by Pres. Ronald Reagan, but it is not as positive a song as the title would suggest. Very good catalog, well worth your time. BTW that was Mr. Clarence Clemmons "The Red Bank (N.J.) Rocker" on the saxophone. RIP Big Man.
Jungleland has one of the most incredible 3min Saxophone solo ever in a ROCK song, and definitely listen to the river, its a song any race or creed and understand the meaning of. Enjoy man.
More Bruce: "Rosalita" "Cadillac Ranch" "Born in the USA" "Badlands" "Dancing in the Dark" "Pink Cadillac" "Ramrod" "Tenth Avenue Freeze Out" "Sherry Baby" "I'm a Rocker" "Prove It All Night" "Thunder Road"
🎸💯 Springsteen & the E Street Band‼🔥 They're ALWAYS lit‼They've got tons of "anthems & stuff" just waiting for you to dive into‼"Born to Run" is crazy good & I LOVE the entire The River album‼That's "The Big Man" Clarence Clemons on saxophone. He was with "The Boss" for like 39 years or something crazy like that‼You really need to dive into this rabbit hole BizMatik‼ RIP Clarence Clemons. ❤ 🕊 🙏
Bruce is one of the all time best artists! He has a TON of great songs, You should check out "Born in the U.S.A." , "Streets of Philadelphia " , "Glory Days", "the River" (Defiantly my pick), "Pink Cadillac" ,"Thunder Road" many more! 😁
BIG RABBIT HOLE!! May I add Dancing in the Dark? Bruce has one of greatest raspy voices of all time!! GOAT for sure!! Born in the USA IS another one. Fantastic Jam!! 💜💜
Biz, man, you take 'Cool' to new levels! 😎 Showed you some love on your other channel. Thanks for all the smiles! And btw, you can't go wrong with 'Jungleland' from the same album as this one. Stay cool, stay charming!! 👍
Bruce is kind of hit and miss for me, man. But when he’s good, he’s great. You can definitely put together a solid greatest hits album or playlist or whatever, and I’m definitely a fan. This one is definitely my favorite from him. But let’s see… Thunder Road, Tenth Avenue Freeze Out, Growing Up, The River, The Ghost of Tom Joad (which was actually covered by Rage Against The Machine, I believe), Brilliant Disguise, My Hometown, Dancing in the Dark, and a bunch more are all great to me for different reasons.
I just can't understand how someone can have lived their whole life in America and not know about Bruce Springsteen. He's a national treasure. And, alas, you probably won't live long enough to dive into his entire catalogue. It's extremely vast, to say the least.
Who is this guy? In my personal opinion, this is a guy who who was a musical genius until his “Born in the U.S.A.” album came out and now touts himself as some sort of cowboy-philosopher.
I tend to agree. I saw him for the first time in ‘73 on the Greetings tour (he wasn’t even the headliner) and a couple of times later and loved it. I had a friend who thought he went downhill after Steel Mill broke up. Lol😢
This song came out in 1975. I was in New York City and he rocked that city with that album. Its about taking off on his motorcycle with his girl Wendy. And yes he plays the guitar.
Such an incredible catalog for you to jump into the boss has so many different types of songs. If you want to break down and cry listen to the rising or the Streets of Philadelphia if you want to dance do dancing in the dark or rosalita he's got everything!!!
Just found your channel, great stuff! You should defo check out more Bruce - not sure if you do live stuff, but Bruce is one of the greatest live performers ever. I'd recommend the Live in New York version of Tenth Avenue Freeze-Out 😃
Be careful of the rabbit hole 🕳 you just found BizMan!!!!!! You go down it hombre and like the AC/DC hole, you will discover a whole planet that exists!!!!🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 Buckle up and bring extra supplies I’m just saying and yes it’s absolutely worth the journey!!!!!! Try the song “Born in the USA” next if you can. Also the E Street Band is one of the best bands ever assembled in my humble opinion!!!!! So says Austin Tx!!!!! 🥳🥳😎🍸
Bro- you’re my go to for the Allman’s and Led Zep- the 2 best bands ever!. But Bruce has some great stuff, and his lyrics set him- a true story teller- with an ear for the everyday man- the angst and frustration. He had some huge hits, including this- and his hits big sound- But my favorite is the Nebraska album- stripped down- just him and guitar- the stories and delivery inspired by Woody Guthrie.
This is the greatest rock album ever made, in my opinion. The poetic writing, the incredible musicianship, and the heavily overdubbed production combine into a brilliant sound.
wish I could hit like more than once
@@428chase thousands? Fat chance. He’s rock and roll royalty just like the Beatles, chuck berry, bob dylan, the stones etc. right up there with them
Bruce is like no other.
I say, watch everything you can see live...
love the boss!! great reaction! check out 10th ave. freeze out!
bruce springsteen and estreet band best band best Boss ,legends , still rockin today! love love
You gone and done it now, BizMatik. This is his anthem, IMO. Great lyrics are what "The Boss" is known for. Deep dive for sure..😎. Voice will grow on ya. This album and Darkness On The Edge Of Town are 🔥🔥
His first album is also great underrated imo. Although most of his albums are at least pretty good
Or No Retreat No Surrender. I like em all.
I'm from Detroit. I had to get to get my family out of there. We're scared every time we went to visit. We're old now so we don't go back anymore. Bruce is awesome! This hole is as deep as. it gets!
U should watch the live version!!♥️👍
Bruce Springsteen and the East Street Band!
Oh Yes!
And imagine to be part of the crowd and sing along ! Can‘t wait for the 2023 tour 🙌
"is his catalog worth diving into?" Springsteen is the Shakespeare of Rock N Roll.
That was the Boss baby!✌️💛🤘
Seen him 4 times in concert, shows are 3 hours. Long list of songs to choose from - Born in the USA, Human Touch, Rosalita on and on. Enjoy the trip!!.
Bruce grew up in coastal New Jersey in the Asbury Park area. Many of his earlier songs are about his experiences. The sax player is Clarence Clemmons (RIP). Look him up. Cool dude. Seen him 4 times also. Three times in Opera House here in St Louis, seating only 4000. Once in second row with Clarence spraying sweat on me lol.
Bruce was born and raised in Freehold, NJ. Asbury Park is the town that the Stone Pony bar is located. Bruce made that bar famous in his early days.
Bruce had a regular band behind him for most part. His heyday was later 70s and 80s. Nobody was bigger than Bruce in his heyday. Huge catalog. Born in the USA and Thunder road are big hits as was Born to Run.
Springsteen and the E Street Band. His creation. He’s known as the boss in the band and the world. Bruce Springsteen is The Boss.
Bruce concerts are 3 to 4 hours long. Very intense, lots of energy on stage.
Definately have to dive into his catalog.
Not many people talk about it but his album Nebraska is great. Stripped down to basics depending on songwriting.
Greetings from Canada, eh!!! As a die hard fan from his first album "Greetings from Ashbury Park" in 1973 to his latest release "Letter to You" last year, and proudly attended more than 30 shows, welcome to E Street!! Do THUNDER ROAD!
His first Bruce Springsteen song and the guy is already singing along. Time for Hungry Heart. His band is the fabulous E Street Band.
There are so many great song from Bruce. He’s known as the Boss! Try Glory Days, Hungry Heart, Cover Me, Born in the USA, I’m On Fire, The River to name just a few!
You should have reacted to the performance video, still a studio version, but you can see just how great of a front man he is.

Bruce Springsteen - Tougher Than The Rest💯🙌
Been rocking to this tune since 75’. E Street band is flush with top tier talent, The big man Clarence Clemons on Sax, Max Weinberg on drums, Little Steven VanZant on guitar and back up vocals (was Silvio on the Sopranos). Bruce singing playing guitar and writing, a very very prolific song writer.

All legends actually. Probably a couple of band members I’m forgetting off the top of my head.
Danny Federico Niles Lofgren Roy britten
Few capture "restless youth" like Bruce.
Very high energy band, one of the best concerts you could ever imagine, the driving force behind him? the e-street band! Powerful
Did you ask who SPRINGSTEEN is?!?!
The man's Wiki page would probably take 20 pieces of paper to print! 🤣🤣💯💯
One of the QUINTESSENTIAL American Songwriters!!!
Damn nothing makes me feel old like when young people ask questions like who is Bruce Springsteen?
Omg there are so many great songs. So many. Anything off Born To Run. My fave album is Nebraska. It's more somber but the stories he paints are incredible. He is the GOAT for a reason. Rosalita is fun. I love that song.
LIVE
Bruce Springsteen
🎵 JUNGLES LAND 🎵 🎶 🎵 🎶 🎵 🎶
One of is best 👌 ❤
Huge catalog, Biz. I second the motion for "10th Avenue Freeze Out." That might be my favorite Bruce song ever.
Also, "Darkness on the Edge of Town."
That's Clarence Clemons on the sax, RIP.
Thanks for sharing.
He has so many great songs, love his music..
My first bruce concert was may 1977. It's still the best concert I've ever seen.
You gotta love Clarence his sax man! Never had another after his passing…RIP brother
Oh man, you need to watch the official video of this!! 🔥🔥🔥
Yeah, Bruce is the real deal. Great reaction. Happy to check out some more of your stuff!
Thanks fam
Tbe live version of this song from concerts in the 80s give you a sense of how amazing these guys are live
Hey, The Boss!!! Nice Biz! You can’t go wrong with this guy. Talk about soulful singing!!! Your the best Bizmatik!!!

Except he's a woke socialist....NOT for the working man. He's okay being rich...but don't let the working man get ahead of HIM...he hates this country.
Yaaas. More Bruce!! I can’t pick one, he has so many good songs.
Thank you for sharing your time with us. ☮️
This is a New Jersey anthem! The title track from the GREATEST Rock 'N' Roll record ever recorded.
His second album "The Wild, the Innocent and the E Street Shuffle". IMHO, his best of all time.
Little Richard, an E Street Band member also played a role in The Sopranos. Springsteen and Obama are besties and just authored a book together
Who is he?? THE BOSS! That's who he is. YES! much more.
I'm not a big Bruce fan but I have to admit that this song is amazing. I personally don't think he ever bettered it. It stands out and stands the test of time.
His last album letter to you is better than what anyone else is doing today
"Tenth Avenue Freezeout", "Badlands" and "The River" are great choices (but there are so many!)
OMG Bro!! The Boss’s catalog is vast! I cannot write down all the great tunes he has recorded! I literally write down at least 30 plus songs to listen to. It is so good there are about half a dozen versions of that song at different venues in 1978! It’s that great!!!
From the passionate frustration of "Badlands" to the last-chance fatalism of "Atlantic City", Springsteen sings to us and about us. Dive in dep, Biz!
Springsteen is sublime. The greatest.
Your review of this song was perfection!.
Thank you.
Wow, thank you!
I gave you a like just for that little sing along at the end. Every Bruce fan has done that. This is prob my favorite album. I remember a girlfriend of mine let me borrow her Walkman so I could listen to the tape of this album. I literally stayed up all night long listening to it. Thunder Road is my favorite Bruce ever, but man, when those drums start this song, it does something to me.

he is from freehold new jersey my hometown i seen him a few time great prefomer he plays gutar piano & hormonica lead vocals

Two words: Kitty’s Back. Bruce and the E Street Band will blow your mind.
The closest you can get to a Bruce concert is the video for the Encore of the No Nukes Concert. Must watch. Filmed at 2:45 am.
He is the fucking Boss !!!!! !!!!!!!!!!!!
I would just put the needle to the front of the record you were just listening to and listen the whole thing... that´s your best introduction to Bruce Springsteen.
Awesome album this is.So many more great tunes…..Jungleland,Thunder Road, and Tenth Ave.Freezeout are a must.
Must do "Jungleland" "Meeting Across The River"(about a drug deal gone wrong in NY and NJ) "Tenth Avenue Freeze Out" " Backstreets"
A New Jersey kid adopted by all of the USA. Bruce is the bomb.
Jungleland has one of the most incredible 3min Saxophone solo ever in a ROCK song, and definitely listen to the river, its a song any race or creed and understand the meaning of. Enjoy man.
THE BOSS! THE RIVER, SPIRIT IN THE NIGHT, DOWNBOUND TRAIN, POINT BLANK.
🎸💯 Springsteen & the E Street Band‼🔥
They're ALWAYS lit‼They've got tons of "anthems & stuff" just waiting for you to dive into‼"Born to Run" is crazy good & I LOVE the entire The River album‼That's "The Big Man" Clarence Clemons on saxophone. He was with "The Boss" for like 39 years or something crazy like that‼You really need to dive into this rabbit hole BizMatik‼
RIP Clarence Clemons. ❤ 🕊 🙏
You need to watch his live performance to appreciate this song! Totally different experience!!!!
The only artist to have an album in the BB top 5 for 6 consectiutive decades .... legend!
They almost made this the official state anthem of New Jersey (Bruce’s home state)!
The world's best live song, he have the best concerts up to 4 hour of rock n roll
Bruce is one of the all time best artists! He has a TON of great songs, You should check out "Born in the U.S.A." , "Streets of Philadelphia " , "Glory Days", "the River" (Defiantly my pick), "Pink Cadillac" ,"Thunder Road" many more! 😁
Gotta watch the live version to truly know what THE BOSS is all about.
My favorite, Tunnel of Love
Oh yes, big catalog. Born in the USA, Dancing in the Dark, Glory Days, and I'm on Fire are my favorites.
He is a legend dude!!
On sax is the legendary late, great, Clarence Clemons.
Hey you should do “Born to Run” official video!!! You’ll love it!
Hungry heart is a must listen
Bruce is kind of hit and miss for me, man. But when he’s good, he’s great. You can definitely put together a solid greatest hits album or playlist or whatever, and I’m definitely a fan. He gets it like when it came out
I just can't understand how someone can have lived their whole life in America and not know about Bruce Springsteen. He's a national treasure. And, alas, you probably won't live long enough to dive into his entire catalogue. It's extremely vast, to say the least.

The Boss , enough said
Springsteen has a song called Fire. Great tune and there were a few different cover versions of it.
Just found your channel, great stuff! You should defo check out more Bruce - not sure if you do live stuff, but Bruce is one of the greatest live performers ever. I'd recommend the Live in New York version of Tenth Avenue Freeze-Out 😃
That version of 10th Ave is effin amazing. ranks with Freddie Mercury + Queen Somebody to Love live in Montreal.
Who is he? HE'S THE BOSS!!! Next song ?his live version of born in the USA
Now you know Bruce 👍
Right on 😎💪🏻🇺🇸
Bro- you’re my go to for the Allman’s and Led Zep- the 2 best bands ever!.
