TechnoGenuine absolutely right. The only vid taken outside so i can see the watch in daylight. Also the tests almost convinced me to buy one next week.
You live in a beautiful city. I love the views of the park and the idea of the city cycle, very cool. Suggestion: I would have liked to have a little more specifics on how to access the features you demonstrated. I cannot seem to find the speedometer. I had to look at another video to find out how to access all those exercises in S Health that you were using, and how to turn the GPS on. It would have been nice to at least see how you accessed those features, even if you didn't explain, and we could emulate the steps without going to another video. Many new users, like myself, would not intuitively know to click on the "Running" option at the top of the screen (not the start button) and to access "activity type" in order to select another exercise option. I walked 3.7 miles yesterday and couldn't figure it out nor could I find the speedometer :/ Just a thought for those that are little less familiar. I still liked the video, as it answered many other questions that I had. (Btw... a little side note: You were not doing Star Jumps, but rather standard jumping jacks. Star Jumps are explosive, from a more squatted position. The opening of the body does look like a jumping jack, except you would be much higher off the ground than a standard jumping jack, since you are exploding up). Thanks for the video!
subscribed. I live and work in Saudi Arabia and I do bought a Samsung Gear S2 3G a year ago hopefully to use eSIM but is not a thing yet here in the Middle East. So I'd say that I paid the standalone features of the watch without even using it and just be glad there's future option in it. But I'm tempted to buy Samsung Gear S3 LTE which include exclusive features of Samsung Pay and built in GPS.
What a great Vid Ray . Very impressed with your review . Heres a Brain thinker for you ,...... I Hang glide , I noticed the GPS is stand alone and tracks well , does it track altitude ? Could I use it for waypoints , ground speed , distance , time flown etc ?
fantastic review! just what I was looking for! loved the speedometer test and video sequence through the streets 👌. watch looks impressive, love the bezel control.
Mine has been fine. Nothing impressive, but still okay. About 2 days with moderate use. I typically charge it when I'm showering and getting ready for bed at night, so it is always kinda topped off. It is so low profile that I hardly know its on and it has pretty great fitness tracking. EDIT: I am having lots of issues connecting to GPS...which, of course, is basically the whole point of owning the watch. If I keep getting failed GPS connections during runs, this thing is going back.
Jeff McKnight thank you so much for the detailed response! will think about getting one or just wait for fitbit to release a new batch since they bought pebble and vector. I'm expecting a great watch from them.

Great video Ray.. I shall subscribe! Surprised you don't have more subs.. and good to see an Aussie reviewing it (I'm in NZ)! I had a Polar V800 (which is a fantastic sport watch), sold it to try the Nixon Mission as I was desperate a for a waterproof smart watch, then got the S3 to compare it. The Gear S3 won hands down (the Nixon was awesome.. but the ambient display faces were rubbish and battery atrocious). FYI - I contacted Under Armour and asked if they planned to develop an app for the Tizen system (I currently use their app 'Record' on my phone) - and if it would support using a chest strap? And they said yes it's already in development! Hopefully more good apps are on the way.
Ray Hope Make The Impossible Possible Apologies for my very slow reply (Xmas busyness and three kids!). ☺. I recorded a run on the S3 to compare with Record (which currently needs you to carry your phone of course).. So not entirely a fair comparison. But the results from shealth seems buried underneath a pile of rubbishy overlay and these silly reward trophies? It all seems there, but not nicely laid out to check quickly. So my preference will always be UA Record which is arranged well. Once it's on the watch I'll be even more in love with the S3. The only thing that would make it better is 100% waterproofness.
Hello Ray, Good video. Excellent review mate. I just have a question if you do not mind me asking. I saw you using and app called “Track your speed” or something. You said is custom, right? I was wondering if there is any way I can find it for my Gear S3 too. Thanks
yes car speedometers are set to show higher than actual real speed. most cars vary between 2-6kph over real speed. so going 65kph in a 60 zone using the car speedo is usually ideal

great video. Is activating the GPS in standalone mode easy? I've heard a lot of complaints saying that the GPS doesn't work and I would really like to track the routes of my runs. thanks :)
Thanks. I really appreciate your support :-) I found the Standalone GPS takes a while to lock on to the signal. See this video I made for more detail on the standalone GPS tracking. ua-cam.com/video/2S3T3QGOmBk/v-deo.html
hi. can I just confirm that you can the watch completely as a standalone device for tracking speed and distance ??? as was told in the Samsung shop yesterday I couldn't. tho was not confident in her knowledge. as don't wish to take my phone running and looking for something I can use on its on but still connect to my phone for later use many thanks wayne
Sometimes it seems that you have it attached to your head, am i wrong?? as when you are running and you turn to see the buildings or your running shoes, i was also trying to figure out how you recorded on the bike, another one to guess you have it attached to your body, how do you do that??
If you are talking about the video camera, see this video ua-cam.com/video/oRIaqA98sQA/v-deo.html. I was using the Zhiyun Z1 Smooth II 3 Axis Gimbal Stabilizer For Phones.
Halo, i have a question plz and can someone amswer, if i want to running and GPS aktive and the trak showing, must i have my Phone withe me? or i dont need the phon and i can running just with watch and see the track and the location wher i have running ?
Can you sync your runs with run apps? As in, at the end of the day you get to upload your results. Not immediately since I want to leave my phone at home.
How did you get to the speedometer? Is the option or app already on the watch or do you have to download it? Also, how do you use the interval option. Perhaps, the interval option will be self explanatory once I locate the speedometer.
Okay thanks. Do you recall what it is called? Did it cost or was it a free download? I'm looking for the one that you are demonstrating in this video specifically. Thanks
Thank you so much for your response. I appreciate the video and the information. I tried the speedometer out yesterday and it was very accurate. Only 1 mph off or so, at times, which I'm sure was due to the slight depression or slight release of pressure on the accelerator. Very nice app. My hubby is going to use it to track his sprints and his runs. I love that it shows a min, max and average. Very cool!
Strava doesn't currently have an app for this watch but S Health syncs across to the account. Question is with the watch non LTE with GPS mode does it capture the route of the run or cycle to upload to Strava or is it only the distance and pace that it transfer across?
When I was doing the cycling, it was not in standalone mode, but S Health on my phone has the route from the GPS on a map + the speed and heart rate plot as well as all the other info. I can try it in Standalone mode and see what info transfers to S Health after connecting by bluetooth.
Ok. Tested it in standalone mode for walking and cycling in S Health. It captures the route and plots it on a blank map while in standalone mode. When it connects to WiFi or to the phone via Bluetooth it adds a map to the route. The route does transfer across to S Health on the phone and you can export as a GPX file.
That is up to you. I loved my Gear 2. I was going to get a new band for it, but when I saw the new Gear S3 I decided to get it, and I am very happy with it.
If you're looking at your results after finishing, and the screen times out, the running information is gone and back to normal screen. How do you get it back?
Ray can you tell me the name of apps? Standalone gps is: Maps Pro, google maps and navigation.. Speedometer is : speedometer for gear app. That's ok?? Thankyou!
Hi, I have the gear S2 and I love it. I'm planning to take the new promotion to upgrade the watch to S3! Do you know if the maps can run offline without a phone support? I'm so happy that Smasung released the app on iPhone!
Not currently. If you can connect to WiFi or have the LTE version the maps will load. I've heard they are working on making offline maps available on the here we go app.
Im in the army and want to increase my pt score and cant have my phone with me so does the gos work without the phone and can it keep track of my pace most trackers onky give pace after workout is finished? Thanks loved the video
Yes it works without the phone. See this video. With the included Samsung health app it gives you current speed and you can set it to give you an audio guide at intervals of preset distances or times. There are also other running apps you can get that will give you different info.
A bit more info, just if someone will ask.....US Cars have a more precise Speedo. An US-delivered-Porsche set to km/h is most of the time in a +/- 1km/h range of gps while the same car with a european Speedo and software shows about 5 km/h more. It's simply a regulation reason, in Germany the law says that the Speedo must not show less than the car actually travels while the upper limit is 10% plus 4 km/h. So it's simply the manufacturers setting their speedos to show a bit more in europe to be 100% sure it doesn't show less under all circumstances.
It was getting help from the phone sometimes. See this video ua-cam.com/video/2S3T3QGOmBk/v-deo.html for full standalone GPS. I wouldn't use it for driving navigation.
need your opinion here which would you trust more, im doing cardio at the gym the treadmill gives one number then the gear s3 gives out another number which comes to around 100 sometimes 150 calories burned less.. should i just trust the gear because its on my wrist?
Which app or activity in the Gear S3 are you using on the treadmill? I'm not sure how the gear determines calories burned. With the outdoor walking / running / cycling activities, it probably uses distance moved through the GPS. But in the Treadmill activity it can't use that as you are not actually moving in space on the treadmill and could under estimate the calories burned. Especially if you use the treadmill on a slope. The treadmill will know how far you are effectively walking or running and the angle of the track by the movement of the track. So the treadmill might be more accurate.
Thanks and thumbs up for your video.Congrats for buying the Korean version I am still holding out to buy the Gear S3 frontier until a LTE version is finally available in Europe (especially France). The Gear S2 3G classic variant was just released in July 2016 here and it is supported by only on carrier(Orange network) here... 2 questions for you: Is the LTE version with e-sim locked and tied to the same carrier forever. is the LTE frequency of your korean watch compatible with Australian ones? For example,I have the original Gear S 3G unlocked (European model) and I read(I was not able to test that) it would not be compatible with US range frequencies
Locked? That will depend on the carrier. I've heard the USA LTE versions are being lock to the carriers. The Korean one I got is supposed to be unlocked and the frequency's it uses match the available frequencies in Australia, but Australia does not have e-SIM yet so I'll have to wait till Australia gets e-SIM capability.
Ray Hope Make The Impossible Possible Hi Ray, Seems The Korean always get the better version :) Like the LG G2 for instance with removable battery and microsd slot. Thanks I will check the Gear S3 korean version and check the Gear S2 3G classic properties that is out in my country for reference. Thanks a lot for your reply :)

You're welcome. Yeah my phone also has optical stabilization, but it is nothing compared to what the Smooth II 3 Axis Gimbal does. That makes it look Professional quality.
It is in S Health under activity type. Which ever activity you are currently in, tap on it, instead of start, and it takes you to a menu. Select "Activity Type".
I'm struggling to decide between Gear S3 and Garmin Fenix 3Hr (or even the new Fenix 5Hr). Would like to get your opinion on which is the best option ? Thanks

Are you talking about for speed calculation or location? I don't have another GPS watch, but could compare it in stand alone mode with the GPS on my Samsung S6 phone.
Ray Hope Make The Impossible Possible more around distance calculation. Yes please compare with your phone as I am finding the standalone mode is around 10% short. When connected to the phone it's the same as my garmin.
Hi John Foster. Just uploaded a video comparing standalone GPS accuracy with my Phone. It is here ua-cam.com/video/2S3T3QGOmBk/v-deo.html. Is that what you were after?
Hey quick question for you, I just purchased the LTE version also and didn't get the esim activated. But now the watch keeps trying to dial a number and kills the battery very quickly. Are you having this issue or not? Thanks and very nice video!
No. I get a message every time I reboot the watch saying "The USIM card is required to download USIM. Start the registration". I just tap the X to cancel and it goes away.
always intriguing how a "runner" does a watch review and never addresses the watch display while the run takes place. I was interested if the display while running can be customized like the 10 year old Garmin 405. I had heard the S3 doesn't allow a single display to show total distance and last lap pace and overall pace, all at the same time.
It isn't about importing...it is about during a run, being able to see on a single display, without having to swipe, three readings like Avg Pace, Last Lap Pace, and Total Distance. For example, when running a race, you want to see your overall pace, plus the last lap where you either cranked up or slowed down, plus your overall distance so far. Other than a Garmin, I've yet to find a Gear S3 app that will allow to show three readings. MayMyRun doesn't even have Last Lap Pace. Crazy.
"Active Sports App Launcher S3 12h" or search "Ray Hope" in the watch face section of the Samsung App store & you will see all my designs. I haven't used Runtastic.
I downloaded your active sports app launcher but none of the sports icons or speedometer that you have on your watch face are on mine? How to get them please?
They are only on the 12h version. Samsung apps wouldn't let them on any more of my apps because the timer, stopwatch & speedo are not pre installed on the S3. Really annoying. I now put them in as hidden tap zones on my newer watch faces to sneak them in :-)
Good question. I only put it in standalone for a little while when was testing. I'll try using it for a longer period in standalone while tracking activity.
I got a S3 Frontier and the GPS in not working, when I went in stand alone mode and try to access altimeter and barometer I receive an ``connect to `` request to have GPS .. any idea why? any hint would be much appreciated
When I go for a run without my phone, does the S3 automatically go onto 'standalone' mode or do I need to do something? And should I be waiting for the watch to locate a GPS signal? Thanks for a good review.
Hi Steven, The watch is in standalone mode when ever it disconnects from the phone, but GPS is not automatically on. You need to launch an app that uses the GPS, like S Health running, or the Speedometer, and yes you should wait for the GPS to get a signal if you want to track your whole run. See my other video ua-cam.com/video/2S3T3QGOmBk/v-deo.html that shows this.
It can track without being connected to the phone, but you need to get the map when it is connected tobtje phone or Wi-Fi. See my other video on the watch in stand alone mode.
Omg I watched lots of reviews but honestly this video is #1 well explained and great experiments. You totally convinced me to buy this!

hi. can I just confirm that you can the watch completely as a standalone device for tracking speed and distance ??? as was told in the Samsung shop yesterday I couldn't. tho was not confident in her knowledge. as don't wish to take my phone running and looking for something I can use on its on but still connect to my phone for later use
many thanks
wayne
Yes see my video here ua-cam.com/video/2S3T3QGOmBk/v-deo.html for standalone device for tracking speed and distance.
Good review of SHealth functions. thanks!
Thanks. I really appreciate your support :-)
Спасибо, очень полезный и подробный обзор! Удачи!
Thanks. I really appreciate your support :-)
Can it be synch to strava? I have 1 garmin fenix 5. Thinking to get this for casual or office use.
I think so, but you might have to go via Samaung Health app.
star jump. i like that. we here in the states call them jumping jacks
Yes. You can do that with Samsung Health. Each app will be different, but should be able to do that.
How did you get to the speedometer? Is the option or app already on the watch or do you have to download it? Also, how do you use the interval option. Perhaps, the interval option will be self explanatory once I locate the speedometer.
The Speedometer is a Samsung app you have to download from the Samsung app store. So are the stop watch and Timer apps.
Okay thanks. Do you recall what it is called? Did it cost or was it a free download? I'm looking for the one that you are demonstrating in this video specifically. Thanks
Nabiyah1 It is called Speedometer for Gear. It is free and is one of Samsung Electronics Co, Ltd apps.
Very cool!
How do you get the map on your phone
Sync the watch with the S health app on your phone. See my other video ua-cam.com/video/2S3T3QGOmBk/v-deo.html
Ray Hope Make The Impossible Possible if you could that would be great!
Thanks for the feedback, sounds like it's a more complete OS experience than the Android Wear options currently on the market.
Hi HKPICTA. Just uploaed a video showing this ua-cam.com/video/2S3T3QGOmBk/v-deo.html
now its available on samsungs direct website with lte verysion correct?
Really helpful review, but I have a question to you. You were using gear2 and do you think should I change gear2 to gear s3?
That is up to you. I loved my Gear 2. I was going to get a new band for it, but when I saw the new Gear S3 I decided to get it, and I am very happy with it.
My band broke ;(
On your gear 2?
Yes. And I can buy new band or change my 2 old years Gear2 to Gear S3. And I don't know what to do...
Nice review man. Can i ask how big youre wrist is in cm?
About 16cm wrapping a take measure around it.
Can you download the map on the cycling event as a KML or to Google Maps or Google earth ??
If you're looking at your results after finishing, and the screen times out, the running information is gone and back to normal screen. How do you get it back?
I think you just go back into the S health app. The info is there, and when connected to your phone, it uploads to S health on your phone as well.
See my other video ua-cam.com/video/2S3T3QGOmBk/v-deo.html
Ray can you tell me the name of apps? Standalone gps is: Maps Pro, google maps and navigation.. Speedometer is : speedometer for gear app. That's ok?? Thankyou!
Hi, I have the gear S2 and I love it. I'm planning to take the new promotion to upgrade the watch to S3! Do you know if the maps can run offline without a phone support? I'm so happy that Smasung released the app on iPhone!
Not currently. If you can connect to WiFi or have the LTE version the maps will load. I've heard they are working on making offline maps available on the here we go app.
What app were you using to do the lunges, running? I can't seem to find where to switch that on my watch.
I was using the S Health app that comes with the watch.
Thanks! I guess I have not played with it enough to see the features you were using!
which Aussie carrier supports the Gear S3 LTE ? I bought the Bluetooth only one because i was told there are no supported carriers
Yeah there were no supporters in Australia when I got it. Still don't think there are any. I was hoping they would support it soon.
How is this in measuring heart rate while weight lifting and working out at the gym?
See this video I made on heart rate measuring ua-cam.com/video/QnnFuoC5Amo/v-deo.html
There are also other running apps you can get that will give you different info.
just in cas , cars are set higher than reality ; for security reasons; not the other way
nice reviex; cheers ;)
Yeah, that is what I meant. Sorry for the confusion.
Retry complete review. Thanks for uploading.
Thanks. I really appreciate your support :-)
Was the GPS working on its own or it needed any help from the phone?
How good it is, when you wanna take it out for navigation help while driving?
It was getting help from the phone sometimes. See this video ua-cam.com/video/2S3T3QGOmBk/v-deo.html for full standalone GPS. I wouldn't use it for driving navigation.
need your opinion here which would you trust more, im doing cardio at the gym the treadmill gives one number then the gear s3 gives out another number which comes to around 100 sometimes 150 calories burned less.. should i just trust the gear because its on my wrist?
and yes i do think 100-150 calories is a lot or else i wouldn't be asking. im on a weight loss journey anything and everything counts!
I considering either the S3 or the Garmin 235. what would you recommend based on your experience?
I haven't tried any Garmin watches.
2021 good or not good ?! Thanks 😊
Thanks and thumbs up for your video.Congrats for buying the Korean version
I am still holding out to buy the Gear S3 frontier until a LTE version is finally available in Europe (especially France).
The Gear S2 3G classic variant was just released in July 2016 here and it is supported by only on carrier(Orange network) here...
2 questions for you:
Is the LTE version with e-sim locked and tied to the same carrier forever.
is the LTE frequency of your korean watch compatible with Australian ones?
For example,I have the original Gear S 3G unlocked (European model) and I read(I was not able to test that) it would not be compatible with US range frequencies
Locked? That will depend on the carrier. I've heard the USA LTE versions are being lock to the carriers.
The Korean one I got is supposed to be unlocked and the frequency's it uses match the available frequencies in Australia, but Australia does not have e-SIM yet so I'll have to wait till Australia gets e-SIM capability.
Ray Hope Make The Impossible Possible
Hi Ray, Seems The Korean always get the better version :)
Like the LG G2 for instance with removable battery and microsd slot.
Thanks I will check the Gear S3 korean version and check the Gear S2 3G classic properties that is out in my country for reference.
Thanks a lot for your reply :)
Hey there, I just got my S3 Frontier today and was wondering if you could give the link to the app? Can't seem to find anything on the galaxy app store whilst searching for "track your speed"
Nevermind, found an official app by Samsung to do the job...
Yeah it is the samsung Speedometer I was using.
haha nice video.... sometimes it looks like Turn father Jahn (the german gymnastics father guru) but very good test, thank you...tumbs up
Thanks :-)
May I ask...
what camera do you use for your videos?
looks very Sharp and stable image.
This video was shot on my Samsung S6 Smartphone with a Zhiyun Z1 Smooth II 3 Axis Gimbal Stabilizer. Available here rayhope.com.au/smooth2
Similar to DJI Osmo Mobile Available here rayhope.com.au/DJIOsmoMobile & here rayhope.com.au/DJIOsmoMobileE
You can see the stabilizer in this video ua-cam.com/video/oRIaqA98sQA/v-deo.html
Thanks ... very good,
maybe I should try it with my phone too (Sony XZ)
Was planning to buy an action cam for my bike
Sony FDR-X3000R. ,it also has an optical stabilisation.
www.sony.com/electronics/actioncam/fdr-x3000-body-kit
You're welcome. Yeah my phone also has optical stabilization, but it is nothing compared to what the Smooth II 3 Axis Gimbal does. That makes it look Professional quality.
Hi Ray, great app. How do you get to see all fitness activities, squats, lunges etc on the one screen? Cheers Alex
It is in S Health under activity type. Which ever activity you are currently in, tap on it, instead of start, and it takes you to a menu. Select "Activity Type".
hi Ray.. what watch face did you have on? thanks
Toufic It is one of my own designs. Search for Ray Hope in the Samsung Galaxy apps store to find it.
I'm struggling to decide between Gear S3 and Garmin Fenix 3Hr (or even the new Fenix 5Hr). Would like to get your opinion on which is the best option ? Thanks
Sorry I have not tried the Garmin or Fenix products, so I can't comment on which is best.
Ok, but thanks for answering anyway. Just got a new subscriber😉
What is the difference between the galaxy 42 mm, and the gear S3?
Nice video. I have one question i hope you can answer: what device did you use to record the running and cycling clip? it's incredibly stable. Thanks
I used a Zhiyun Z1 Smooth II 3 Axis Gimbal Stabilizer. Available here rayhope.com.au/smooth2
Similar to DJI Osmo Mobile Available here rayhope.com.au/DJIOsmoMobile & here rayhope.com.au/DJIOsmoMobileE. You can see it in this video I made ua-cam.com/video/oRIaqA98sQA/v-deo.html
Ray Hope Make The Impossible Possible That was fast, thank you!
Samsung gear S3 or Garmin forerunner 235?
Will be using it for daily activity metering and running. What your opinion?
I haven't used the Garmin forerunner 235 so can't comment.
How do you track the walk? Are you using an app?
It was the Samsung S health app that came with the watch.
as it calls the watch face to minute 1:35? Thank you for the reply
ua-cam.com/video/jP2GGAvXjSQ/v-deo.html Available in the Samsung Galaxy Apps Store. To get it, use the Gear app on your phone to go to the Samsung app store and search for "Active Sports App Launcher"
Did you do any comparison to an accurate GPS watch? I am finding the watch inaccurate in standalone mode. I don't think it's sampling often enough.
When connected to the phone it's the same as my garmin.
ok I'll give it a go.
John Foster
Hi John Foster. Just uploaded a video comparing standalone GPS accuracy with my Phone. It is here ua-cam.com/video/2S3T3QGOmBk/v-deo.html. Is that what you were after?
Hy Ray. Can i use the LTE - Version in Europe/Swizerland if I would order the watch in South Korea, like you? Thank you. Paul.
I'm not sure. Do they have e-sim technology in Europe/Swizerland?
actually is not awaylable in EU and Swizerland...But does it have the same sim slot like a smartphone?
No. There is no sim slot. The e-sim is an inbuilt chip that is not removable.
:-(...ok...an e-sim...so i have to wait a lot...I hope the s3 will be as soon as possible here in EU...Thank you for answer so quick :-)!!
Em que link encontro o produto para vender?
Hey quick question for you, I just purchased the LTE version also and didn't get the esim activated. But now the watch keeps trying to dial a number and kills the battery very quickly. Are you having this issue or not? Thanks and very nice video!
No. I get a message every time I reboot the watch saying "The USIM card is required to download USIM. Start the registration". I just tap the X to cancel and it goes away.
Have you tried turning mobile networks off in the settings menu?
Let me check for the mobile networks thanks for the quick response.
How can I find your watchface? I like it !
Search "Ray Hope" in the samsung apps store for watch faces and you should see all my designs.
always intriguing how a "runner" does a watch review and never addresses the watch display while the run takes place. I was interested if the display while running can be customized like the 10 year old Garmin 405. I had heard the S3 doesn't allow a single display to show total distance and last lap pace and overall pace, all at the same time.
yeah well a bit hard to video the watch while running :-)
Ray Hope Make The Impossible Possible Have you used the MapMyRun app with it? What about Google Music? Thanks.
I have asked the mapmyrun folks about showing 3 readings on the display like my old garmin, and they said it can't do it.
Paul Carver You know you can now import S Health workouts into MapMyRun. I have a Garmin 230 as well.
Crazy.
Great video. ...Name of your custom Watch and where to get it ? ... How can i track and upload my activities from Runtastic ?
custom facewatch name ?
"Active Sports App Launcher S3 12h" or search "Ray Hope" in the watch face section of the Samsung App store & you will see all my designs. I haven't used Runtastic.
See these videos for all my watch face designs. ua-cam.com/video/jYBcW_bpgMg/v-deo.html
I now put them in as hidden tap zones on my newer watch faces to sneak them in :-)
Do you need the LTE one to use gps without a phone nearby
No. See my other video ua-cam.com/video/2S3T3QGOmBk/v-deo.html
this gear s3 have backtrack?
how well does the battery hold up when tracking all your activity in standalone mode?
Good question. I only put it in standalone for a little while when was testing. I'll try using it for a longer period in standalone while tracking activity.
Hi +Timothy Weatherspoon. I just uploaded a video showing this ua-cam.com/video/2S3T3QGOmBk/v-deo.html
I have a problem..When I hit start, it does an automatic 5 min. warm up, is it possible to go straight to the running without doing the warm up?
Yeah, mine does that. Not sure how to change it.
Ray Hope Make The Impossible Possible Thank you.
I got a S3 Frontier and the GPS in not working, when I went in stand alone mode and try to access altimeter and barometer I receive an ``connect to `` request to have GPS .. any idea why? any hint would be much appreciated
I had issues with GPS in Standalone when I first got it. Restarting the watch helped sometimes.
Please I cant find her wego in Iphone Gear S ,Just for Android phones ? any help?
Thanks Ray. Appreciate it.
Do I need connect gear s3 with my phone to track the map?
It can track without being connected to the phone, but you need to get the map when it is connected tobtje phone or Wi-Fi. See my other video on the watch in stand alone mode.
most informative. thank you.
Thanks so much for your support, I really appreciate it :-)
