I feel like I live vicariously through you guys. I never get to travel. It's always work, home, sleep. repeat for me. But Vegas is on my bucket list for sure.
The residency that Gaga is doing is actually her Jazz program…she actually has done two separate programs over the time she’s played at the theatre there, and my son has seen them both…one is her more pop-oriented stuff but the one she’s doing lately is inspired by the two albums of standards and Jazz that she recorded with Tony Bennett in the 2010’s (and she is a Fantastic jazz performer!)
I grew up here and it’s always lovely seeing the city through different perspectives, glad you guys had a great time :) I’m already excited for future Vegas videos!
This is like an anniversary episode for me, because if my memory is correct, the first episode I saw of Ordinary Adventures was when you guys came to town during the pandemic to see a movie with friends. As movies were closed in CA, but you could rent screenings here in Vegas, and I believe that is what you guys and some friends did at the time. And I've been watching the channel ever since, congrats on 400K subs, as your channel has great content. I'm from Los Angeles originally, but living in Vegas since 95, and while I enjoy the drives between towns, those short flights can't be beat, but I haven't flown in decades at this point.
As a non-smoker Park MGM is always my first choice whenever we visit Las Vegas. Sure it costs more but flying to Las Vegas is the best way to go. It definitely beats driving through the desert for hours from LA (especially if you're only staying for one day)! Ok, I'll stop blabbing now.
I used to be that iPad person because I didn’t have a smart phone. Honestly when you get older and your sight goes iPads are a godsend. Having glaucoma I know it is my lifeline
Incredible! This is literally how we spent our “Minimoon” - flew to Vegas for two days, specifically for David Copperfield meet and greet and to eat at Best Friend! Gave us such happy memories watching this! ✨
Love the vibe of this video. Anthony Bourdain is my favorite food & travel person. RIP. You guys bring that genuineness that I miss from him and for that I thank you. Fan for life ❤. My top 5 gourmet foods are . Mexican, Chinese, Italian, Indian, Thai.
It was really cool seeing you two come to Vegas. Ive lived here for 13 years and love seeing the perspective from people exploring, and discovering all the crazy stuff this city has on offer. One of the best things about living here is how frequently new businesses and venues open. There is always something different when I decide to venture down to the stip. Not sure how often you guys have been to vegas, but if you get the chance you have to stay at the Cosmo. Best strip views in the city because you get a balcony. Its time lapse heaven. Apologies about F1, the locals hate it, makes so many streets impossible to access and too much grid lock. Bad idea to put a race track in the middle of a functioning city.
Cosmo is our favorite hotel casino. Only reason we didn’t stay there this trip is we want to go back and do a proper video on it and didn’t have the time this stay
I am a vegas local but i love paying tourist . Park MGM is one of my favorite place on the strip. All the food places are great .plus 3 hours of free parking for locals at any MGM property, . . I ca't wait to see what the winter display at the Belliago . it always so pretty,.
Shin Lim is an amazing magician. We watched him on America’s Got Talent. We have since stopped watching that show shortly after he was on because the talent hasn’t been good since. He was top notch.
I never heard of Shin Lim before but the way you describe him and his show I'm quite interested. Love some well done magic. And all the food at Best Friend looked delicious.
I’ll be in Vegas next week when the Bellagio switches over to the holiday version. So nice to see the Fall display in your video! You guys rock!!! Also missed it when I was there back in May.
So glad you guys finally went back to Vegas! The road trip you guys took in August 2020 was where I first discovered you guys when the algorithm recommended you and I was always wondering why you guys never went back… we’ve been on so many trips to Vegas over the 35 years we lived in San Diego (probably more than 50 times total) that it’s almost our second home… We stayed many times at the park MGM back when it was still the Monte Carlo (back then the headliner was Magician Lance Burton, who had a truly wonderful show that ran from 1996 straight through to 2010) and we still love the place as Park MGM (we can usually get our stay comped by using MyVegas points)
That’s a great question. I don’t know why we haven’t gone back, it’s always been on our list but for whatever reason we just kept putting it off. We’d like to go more often
I’m so happy you could come to my town and see some very cool places also a few of our favorites. I usually look online to see the Bellagio atrium since we don’t get down there every season. I will chat with the fam about the Shin Lim show. I’d love to see it .
30:50…Shin Lim is one of the few magicians who actually successfully Fooled Penn and Teller on their CW show “Penn and Teller:Fool Us”…He’s at the Venetian now because he Had been the headliner the last three years at The Mirage, but, well, they closed the place down in July…nice to see he just moved across the street!
Husband and I visited Vegas twice this year and stayed at the Cosmopolitan on both visits. While there I have to admit that going to the Conservatory was one of my favorites. Such a beautiful place.
We love Vegas! Love your commentary, recommendations, and insights. Please please more Vegas content from you guys. You two are some of the best travel vloggers on UA-cam! Keep up the good work😍
@@OrdinaryAdventures I would really LOVE it if you two go to France and explore it, esp Paris and go to EuroDisney. Going to France is #1 on my Bucket Lost. France is sooo beautiful and there's so many things to do and eat! There's amazing museums, like the Louve where the Mona Lisa lives. There's so many sights to see, Eiffel Tower of course, but there's so much more to do. There's lots of actual real castles. Everywhere the architecture is amazing, so much history. Also, French food is the best in the world hands down. They invented "real" cooking. They also have all types of international restaurants, as I know you guys like Asian . There's plenty of that too and it's all very good. And of course the most amazing French Fries. Please, please go, Peter and Kitra.
I really miss you guys doing stuff, like, out in the city somewhere, like you did during peak quarantine content. There's something just fun about you guys exploring

Good Morning 🌅 to you two from Hong Kong 🇭🇰 SAR. Have you two ever been to Macau’s 🇲🇴 MGM ‘Las Vegas’ ? You two must definitely come to Asia again and visit both Hong Kong 🇭🇰 SAR and Macau 🇲🇴.
Kitra, you can actually purchase a candle of the scent of the seasonal bellagio display! My aunt bought me one from the lunar new year display because I loved the scent so much. Also my favorite cuisine would probably have to be Vietnamese and then Thai.
Oh home. It’s probably been discussed but the chocolate fountain at the Bellagio is real. You should go to the conservatory during Christmas. it’s amazing
This 24 hr trip reminds me of my very first trip to LV. I had just built the magic props for Steve Martin’s very first one man show and he invited me out to see it so I allowed myself and buddy 24 hrs to go there. We saw Steve (who was brilliant!)( and Wayne Newton. SUCH a great study. I’m so glad you got to see Shin’s new show! You really need to see Piff at the Flamingo at some point as well. He and Jade are such great people and his magic content surpassed anything I ever expected! I designed his new opening and loved getting to work with him. Colin McCloud (who was working with Shin previously) has his own show now as well which I promised him I would come see if I’m ever in town with time off. I just opened a new show in DTLV at the Plaza that is killing down there. Thanks for the great content… can’t wait to see more!
And you guys finally made it back to Vegas! My top 3 favorite types of cuisines is 3) American 2) Japanese and my #1 is Chinese~ 🥡 And you both look great in your dressy outfits!

Thanks for sharing the various food locations you visited. The Chef place looked like it was themed after The Chef show that was on Netflix. Very neat concept.
@ We didn’t mean to offend you. We are familiar with both the movie and show (and enjoyed both). Our observation was simply based on the artwork and decor of the restaurant. We hope to visit the location ourselves in the future. Thanks for letting us know it exists.
Woah dude i was totally thinking rivendell or the shire😮😮😮😮 I'm about to drive to Vegas just to see that❤ i NEED one of those margaritas!! I love the Mickey waffle pop socket😂😂 mine is Mickey as well but it's like a snow globe with glitter and cherry blossoms😅 dry ice, noted.
Last time I was in Vegas was for F1 last year, and I'll be back in a couple weeks again for F1. I thought it was great and I don't see myself visiting LV outside of going to the race again. I get that all the setup is annoying but it's fun driving around on the race track once all the walls are up and there are so many other fun events going on during the week.
Haven't stayed there, but I enjoy the curated art of Park MGM and I want to do an art tour there and Aria one day. Nomad is moving away (I wish I could have gone to the library restaurant, but they are expanding to other locations so I might have a different chance) so some changes will be afoot, but even now I recognize some leftovers from the Monte Carlo days. I especially enjoyed the giant floral murals by Claire Basler. I think some old Disney monorail cars went to the actual (paid?) Vegas monorail? But the trams are free and fun. I especially like the stop at Crystals cus then you end up in part of the James Turrell light installations in that mall.
The Slippery Shrimp looks a lot like the Honey Walnut Shrimp from Alice’s in San Francisco. It’s so good. If you’re ever in the neighborhood it’s worth stopping in just for that. It’s on 29th and Sanchez.
Delightful vlog. You certainly made the most if it, hitting the highlights you gotta try on a trip: Bellagio Fountains and Conservatory, a show and great food plus a nice drink. Super efficient, lol. A full weekend trip is nice too, that last day your brain, body and wallet are like, time to go home. My friend’s family is planning a full week and I’m like, oh Jebus that’s a lot. Fave cuisines is a great question. My fave single dish is Pho, closely followed by Ramen. Korean and Japanese are so good across the board. Unfortunately Italian and Mexican have become too heavy for me. Cuban is nice tho. Love me a Porto’s Cubano. It is def crazy how quick a flight is from SoCal to Vegas is. The drink service in the middle of the plane is like, chug this Quarter cup of Ginger Ale Now, we’re landing in 2 minutes. But really the lights of LA fade as the lights of Vegas start shining. It’s so cool. It is funny how a flight to Vegas has a more party vibe at least on a Southwest flight.
I promise you don’t have to like Bravo to enjoy an over themed restaurant. LVP is close friends with the guy who owns Earl of Sandwich, Robert Earl. That’s how she got into Vegas in the first place. If you listen to Podcast the Ride you know all about him. There are literal rotating flowers above your head and a window that changes weather inside the restaurant in Paris. It’s worth seeing for the over the top decor alone.

You should!

@@OrdinaryAdventures you are welcome
Need more Vegas content! So much things and food to discover there
👍
I’m going to Vegas for a week in December! Thanks for the recs
Have fun!
Yes! My vote is to return to Vegas for more food and fun!
🙌
Wow--the last time I was in that theatre was to see "Phantom" before it closed--what a change!
Totally
Last time I was in Vegas was for F1 last year, and I'll be back in a couple weeks again for F1. I thought it was great and I don't see myself visiting LV outside of going to the race again. I get that all the setup is annoying but it's fun driving around on the race track once all the walls are up and there are so many other fun events going on during the week.
I’m sure f1 in Vegas is great but it really does mess up the beauty of the strip and getting around the city
Got to say Italian. All 4 of my grandparents came to the US as adults, so I grew up with really good food!
🙌 love Italian food
Those trusses on the strip are for the lighting - it's a night race so it airs during the day in Europe/Asia/The Middle East.
👍
I think we went to the nomad library in New York City (before we started a UA-cam channel) it was cool
@ordinaryadventures Where did you get your mcd bucket shirt?!?!
I think it was on Etsy
I regularly watch that conservatory on a webcam on an app I subscribe to! I wonder if I saw you two but didn't realise!
Oh that’s cool
Good afternoon guys hope you both had a amazing time in Vegas and enjoy all the foods and the magic show 👍👍👍👍👍
Thank you! You too!
@ your welcome guys you both are awesome

Haha didn’t notice the party vibe on our delta flight
The Vanderpump bars have my favorite over the top cocktails in Vegas. Plus the theming in those bars are very theme park restaurant-esque.
Kitra wants to go to them
I promise you don’t have to like Bravo to enjoy an over themed restaurant.
Heading to Vegas next week!!!! Try flying Burbank to Vegas even better :)
Have fun!
I live in Vegas!! Absolutely love my city. If yall have questions feel free to reach out.
