Mine is still working with matching dryer both and still have instructions and packing tabs 90 series from factory .my parents have gone through 2 washer and dryers now .and these have given zero issues best set up ever
My dad is TRYING to give away a Kenmore just like this. He just got gifted a brand new set. I'm seriously considering taking it and giving my HE washer away.
I used to have one of these but it was a 1995 kenmore. Not sure what year this is. The reason why we got rid of it was because it had a rusty hole in the tub and it just started leaking everywhere so that was a sad part and we ended up getting a 2014 kenmore he washer. I remember when I was like 5 I would always when it was draining stop it and put it into spin, Wish you could do that with these new washers but YOU CANT.
I'm waiting to see the GE gtw525 commercial pair in action that recently came out. I'd love to see the full cycle compilation of it with a load of colors on deep clean/deep rinse.
@@patcola7335 If there's a pair of the GE gtw525 matched set, I'd like to see them in action. I have yet to see footage of them actually running a battery of real-life situation cycles.
Of course it still works! Pure direct drive quality!

This one is from 1991. These are great machines!
Looks like that was made in 1989, according to the model number. I love the sounds of older Kenmore direct drives and belt drives.
Simple to decipher the serial number -- manufactured 49th week (Dec 2-6) of 1991. Not 35 years. Almost 29-1/2 years at the date of posting the video.
Thank you...
Nice 80 Series DD Kenmore.
Great. Now how do I use it?
You can fit a helluva lot more in that dryer than half a blanket........
This was made to last long. Great stuff!

These 27" dd washers came out in 1986.
I love that washing machine I want a kenmore like that
I had one of those in my house for many years.
Mine is from the late 80's the control knob just fell off. Not sure how to replace it, but it works great otherwise
Oh wow I just bought a washer and dryer that looks just like that one 😳😳
I have this and need to know how to clean the filter because it stinks to high heaven.

I would think it will be similar with that funky agitator they use in their less expensive offerings .
@@patcola7335 What would the wash behavior be like on the GE commercial on deep clean and deep rinse?
@@jeromedavis8575 You know I haven't even seen these in appliance stores yet. I have yet to see one live.

Iwill take my aunt friend over this washer
