Rebuilt my washer. New tub spinner base, tub seal, fixed fried wire at the water pressure switch causing timer not to advance out of wash cycle. Repainted frame base. New seals.
Sounds like a proper neutral drain direct drive to me! See, that wasn't so bad! Just some cheap parts with some simple disassembly and reassembly, and it's back in business! Try that with a new Hardly Efficient™ machine! Never...
The new high efficiency washers are just a real piece of shit. If you buy a new washing machine you should buy the new Speed Queen TC5 Classic Series model. Transmission driven wash action and classic agitator!!!

HRTsAFyre as it should this machine looks like it’s still in great shape so good job taking care of it I can see it lasting so much longer too. I have to ask tho how did you get it?
@@Kuromii3 I bought it and my dryer brand new 30 years ago. I had some issues with the timer not advancing out of the wash cycle. After checking the timer, I found it was a burnt wire at the water level switch causing the problem. Also, the water leak under the tub. So I ordered a new tub support base and took the washer apart. Cleaned and painted the bottom frame to stop rust. Lubricated parts and checked the brake and transmission parts for wear. Turns out I just needed a new tub support and seals and it was back in business. I enjoyed working on it. Being a woman it goes to show other ladies they can do it too!
It was fairly simple the only part I could have used a hand with was with lifting the motor and transmission while getting the tub stand in place, but I worked it out using some boards to hold it in place and vióla. It was more awkward than heavy. I painted the frame while it was all taken apart. I Lubed up the leveling springs. Cleaned the outer tub real nice. i just had to disassemble the entire washer to get to that tub stand. LOL I was thrilled to get her fixed all by myself. I have an extra brand new tub stand if you know anyone that needs one for this model cheap.
