  • Cinnamon rolls!! Well, cinnamon rolls with cream cheese icing and pecans to be exact because......who said pecans had to only be with caramel rolls? The cream cheese icing should always go on when the Cinnamon rolls are still really warm. The result is that it melts into every nook and cranny. So that delicious icing is everywhere 🤌 it's perfection.
    Funny thing with me, I never measure my icing or fillings for my cinnamon rolls. Brown sugar, butter, and cinnamon? You measure that with your heart and soul.
    My buttercreams and cream cheese frosting I never measure either, I know the exact eyeball of powdered sugar to butter mixture, so with this one, I'm giving a ball park. My frosting is my crowd pleasers, too. I get rave reviews every time. This is just a cream cheese frosting, but put on some hot/really warm cinnamon rolls, and it carries into icing territory.
    Cinnamon rolls:
    4 cups bread flour, divided 3 cups originally, and 1 cup added after mixture is combined
    1/3 cup sugar
    2 1/4 teaspoon yeast
    1 teaspoom salt
    1 1/2 cup warm milk
    1 egg
    1/3 cup butter, mostly melted
    Filling:
    1/2 cup butter, softened
    Brown Sugar (I don't measure, I just evenly spread out brown sugar over the surface. Probably ended up being around 1 1/2 - 2 cups brown sugar)
    Cinnamon (no clue, measure that with your soul, depending on how much Cinnamon you like)
    Cream Cheese Icing: Guessing on the amount of powdered sugar because I don't measure
    1 cup butter, softened
    4 ounces cream cheese, softened
    Pinch of salt
    1 teaspoon vanilla bean paste
    2 cups of powdered sugar
    350°F 30 minutes
