Wow they have a big job ahead of them. Every division in government was over spending and wasting. Really hope people will see the difference in 3 years. It took 6 years to mess things up.

Can confirm our food and petrol prices have come down considerably. beneficiaries and pensioners did get increases in their income not that long ago and like all workers increases in incomes only occurs once a year, or do you feel you should be treated differently?

@@theothomas4287 don’t know where you are getting your numbers from, beneficiaries saw a small increase yes, on average $16 a week. But at the same time many subsidies were removed such as fuel, also rates and rents have gone up, so it hasn’t actually done much. Food prices have still been going up I’ve been watching them. Where you getting your numbers from. There has even been a supermarket enquiry over price gouging.

Let’s wait and see ado you really think the govt can turn 6 years of financial mismanagement in a few months,I am a pensioner need to buy specials ,car pool etc.If you increase wages then the cost of staff increases if people steal goods then both these costs are passed onto the customer.
In California supermarkets ,department stores ,dairies have been closed down as are no longer viable due to theft leading to suburbs with no food stores.
Note a tax cut will not increase cost to food stores so prices will not need to increase( as did happen under Labour/greem/Maori party) and hopefully food will come down.
We have stopped refining oil/petrol so now only store just under 3 weeks of fuel and got rid of fuel storage so are buying in fuel at todays prices, can’t buy 3 months supply at a low price,we are also facing increased costs as Seuss canal is blocked by the Houthi’s so takes longer for boats to travel around the cape of good hope;thanks Jacinda and crew
