I Tour the Tabasco Factory on Avery Island in Louisiana

I visited the Tabasco Brand hot sauce factory, plantation, and museum on Avery Island in Louisiana. Anyone who knows me knows that I’m a huge fan of a good hot sauce, so when I discovered that every bottle of Tabasco in the world was bottled a short 30-minute drive south of Lafayette I had to go and experience it first hand. Come with me as I visit the museum, explore the grounds, discover the production process, rich history, and high tech methods used in the bottling of every type of Tabasco hot sauce in the world and then, at the end, I try them all in a hot sauce tasting experience like none I’ve experienced before!

It was super beautiful out there - the gardens, which I went to afterward are included in the Tabasco tour, and so worth it. Tons of gators though!

@@jaisonsanchez8715 I was surprised to come across the massive bamboo grove and learn that Tabasco had a long relationship with the Dept. of Agriculture in testing various types of bamboo.
