The Reckoning: An In-Depth Look at the Post-Osborne Era of Nebraska Football

- The Common Fans announce The Reckoning, a series of episodes looking back at the post-Tom Osborne era of Nebraska football. Beginning June 17, we will release one episode a week for six weeks, looking at the different coaching tenures, the highs and lows, the missteps, the what-ifs, and so much more (see below for the full schedule of episodes).

If you're looking for a topic for a potential episode 7, perhaps consider coming at it from a "Warning to Alabama" perspective.
With Saban leaving, I think the possibility of Alabama falling off in the next decade in a similar way to Nebraska is possible, and it'd be interesting to hear from Nebraska fans about what they can do differently than we did.

How did John Cooper survive the first 5 years of his tenure (1988-1992)?
@@johnhamilton7797 it was a different time back then when athletic directors were much more patient with their coaching hires than they are today. That's my only explanation.
