Glad you won your bet Dave. Interesting to get the managers insight on what was a horrible summer and season back in the prem. Could have been so much different. Great team. Only thing missing from the interview was thoughts on Colin Coopers departure. Bassett said at the time it was a gentlemen's agreement he'd go to Middlesbrough if an offer came in from them, specifically? Always baffled me. He was our captain and we needed him. Campbell was sold against the managers wishes but Cooper sale felt like the final nail.
Great to hear from Harry, still as sharp as ever in his mid 70s. That 97/98 season was superb.
Good ole Harry, gave us a amazing season home and away 97/98! what a season! Scholar and Wray are dodgey bodds anyway, the board shat on Harry and every forest fan when they got promoted, sold our Capt Coops and top striker Kev Campbell, gutted when they sold Kev and Coops, truly, then Hooijdonk went on strike, downhill from there, felt sorry for Harry in the end, big repsect to him top man thanks a lot Harry.
Class act Harry was - and still is. Great Fella and very underrated
I enjoyed watching your Forest side during that promotion season. We played some great football. The players were energetic and we had some talent. Poor decisions ruined the club and your tenure. Thanks Harry.

Of course Dave was told lies, so why's he so bitter at PvH for not being happy wirh the lies he was being fed? Pierre was told certain things when he joined. They turned out to be lies. He asked to leave during the 97/98 season. He was told to stay to get us promoted, which would be followed by a major strengthening, but could go then if he still wanted to. He bust every sinew to get us promoted, then watched as the side was dismantled around him and was told he couldn't leave after all. He'd been lied to again. Just how many lies should he have swallowed before turning round and saying enough is enough?
