    Daniel James as a backup winger with his pace would be perfect for our setup

      Have thouight the same...as I said above - would rather sell CHO than MGW or Murillo - and James as a replacement would be cheaper than what we'd get for CHO, and so would help with finances.

      Podence on loan from olimpiakos, sell CHO

    What we must do is keep Murillo and MGW ! IF we must sell, it's bye to CHO for me. He's done very well for us - but the thought of making a £20m profit on one player after 12 months is good - but players like him can be replaced more easily than MGW and Murillo. We could make a £30m profit on Murillo tommorow, but to sell him increases our relegation chances. He stopped 6 or 7 goals going in last season !

      Totally agree. If mangala goes as well that should cover the PSR.

      @@paulcope834 Don't rate him quite as highly as you, but yes, perhaps he's worth £40m right now. IMO, Callum should be the sacrifical lamb - if we need one.

    The City Ground is our home. Better to extend and rebuild the Main Stand than to have a soulless place at Toton an awful place. Vanity is not Forest. Better to fill at 40,000 than,hope we never go down, and have a place like Toton half empty.

  • @RobinHood-us7sg

    Everton got 2 points for their 2nd breach so it will likely be 2 points for Forest as it will be a smaller breach than last season. 🤷🏻‍♂️

    Redoing the main stand and filling in the corners might sound fine in the short run, but that's still a 100-150 mill investment and no club would want to make such an investment in the short term if the long-term plan is a much bigger stadium, either on the current site or elsewhere.

    • @martynholmes2544
      @martynholmes2544 2 місяці тому

      And while rebuilding the main stand the Capacity would go down by 5k hitting our turn over massively as no membership would be sold and hardly any seats for general sale be a PSR disaster all for 5k extra seats

    Forest would not build a London Stadium, where the fans are a massive way from the pitch, using West Ham as an example is very poor

    I think we should try and keep murilo and mgw for the next season. Sell mangala and Hudson odoi, bring elanga over to the left where he prefers and buy a right-sided forward like Wilson odobert. And a couple of young back up striker. keep the changes to a minimim

      @@waynewayne2472 hot n cold? its pretty much his first ever full season and even that after an injury and taking 6 months to get match fit. people clearly are not giving him anywhere near enough credit, hes prtty much the least experienced player in the squad, Mgw has played in and around the prem for 3 or 4 years, imagine how ood he can be..... and either way , mgw is a flapper in front of goal, CHO is cool as a cucumber

    Max Scott confused new 250yr lease that was offered and the remainder of the current lease which is 33yrs. No one who knows anything about leasehold would think spending 150m on increasing capacity and upgrading with a lease of 33yrs is sensible. Max needs to educate himself on leases and what appropriate investment is. The club should purchase the lease and own the land, but that doesn’t change how planning permission is granted.
    It would be great to increase existing stadium, but before spending 150m surely everyone can agree that a business case needs to be made which looks at the existing stadium as well as alternatives so that all options are explored no one surely expects the club to waste money (we may all have a view on players - different argument). It would be great to purchase land around the city ground and stay put with a 50k stadium. The council and adjacent land owners would need to play ball. Why should they?

    I understand that the WFCG is an emotive subject. I get it, but can we have a more balanced approach to this debate. I don't want another Talk Sport representative who can't acknowledge that there is an alternative position. Typical, my view is the right one and I can't see another view. Significant issues exist with developing the WFCG. I don't want to go to Toton, but there's logic to moving to a new green field site. More repeats of this bias, life is nuanced try to reflect it, and I'll vote with my fingers and go elsewhere.
