I agree with you that klopp will not take the england job m8 he said he wanted a year out and I think he will stick to that personally🤔 however his name is always going to be mentioned whenever any job in football becomes avaliable however I very much doubt the english fa would even make a play for jurgen klopp and I doubt even more that he would take it however what I would also say is I applaud the usa for trying to get klopp if the fa did that then at least they have tried to get the best in the buisness and it never happened they will probably go for an english manager and according to the bookies the top three candidates are graham potter lee carsley and eddie howe that is not uninspiring then I do not know what is🤣

We’ve seen 45+10 min of a hungry english team that wants to go places. Unfortunately they continued to sit back and let the game get to them. The first real test in this tournament proved to be their downfall and they can be lucky to having made it this far.

If I recall the games I remember being impressed that he seemed to make the right decisions at the right times with subs and tactics and had that England team with the likes of Palmer and Gordon playing front foot attacking football with a rock solid defense. So much pressure to win a trophy, and the pressure gets bigger and bigger each tournament!! Southgate should've won something, you were very lucky to get to the final this year. Last World Cup you were actually much better, better to watch, more attacking football, more ruthless. You were unlucky v France, you were actually better than them on the day. Gareth Southgate has been incredible for the national team, no doubt about it he should be supremely proud as should the fans be of him, it’s because of him we are the side we have been over the last 8 years unfortunately it’s also because of Southgate we haven’t got over the line & wrapped up at least one trophy with the chances we’ve had with his faults in game adaptation & defensive tendencies, but he’s still given us the best experiences as English fans most of us have ever had aside from those old enough to remember 58 years ago,

I'm sure Lee would happily step in even though it might turn out to be temporary, as the experience would be invaluable, he would get a preview of what it's like to step up to that level, and if he wins us the Nations League (which we got relegated in under Southgate) and gets us promoted back to League A again, then he would certainly make a name for himself and make himself a top candidate for the longer term position. Promoting the U21 manager to the first team worked for Spain, maybe it will work for us. Lee also knows many if not all of the younger players and likely managed several too.
