Thank you, the best on youtube, especially for beginners, not too fast, not too taxing for stiffer or achier joints, clearly explains breath with each movement (so important and almost all others skip it half the time during the sequence), you can hear the voice well, & your diction is good too - thumbs up! ❤️
I'm so glad i found this. I learned the moon salutation a month ago at my yoga class but was foggy about some of the poses. This is the only version of the moon salutation that is the same as what my class taught. I like the way she teaches, she doesn't go so fast that you can't follow the moves.
Thank you so much. Your guidance is super clear and like that the video was short, to the point and without disturbances or unnecessary talk. I'm a new yoga teacher and had heard from moon salutation but my education did not cover them. Want to teach them for the next full moon and practicing with your guidance and listening to your ques really helps to prep it for my class 😊
Dear Esther. I follow your meditation sessions for the past week thanks to Jerome Bel councils. I would like to thank you deeply for the deep moments you offer and the great feeling to share those emotions with many people around the world. thank you so much
I am decomposing Moon Salutation and I find this version quite suitable for beginners. Thank you for sharing, the explanations are precise and simple. Is one of the bests I've seen on You Tube.
Fabulous sequence. Thank you. My students and I have been practicing various sequences of Moon Salutation, and I agree with my students. This particular sequence is the most enjoyable. Again, thank you!!!
From this video I've learned to do Moon salutation - it was understandable and I liked the repeating on the right side part. Helped to strenghten the skills.
I love this! Thank you so much. Your instruction is wonderful and inspiring. I am a Yoga teacher and want to instruct Chandra Namaskara tomorrow in my class as it's a full moon. With your help I think it'll go well xxoo
Great, I missed Moon Salutation so much, last time I did it was long years ago, now just Sun! Guess I'll start my days with Sun Salutation and ending it with Moon, thanks Ester XD
Hi. I have (had) the same problems. To make your learning curve more humane, you can always stay in each pose for a number of breaths. This allows you time to remember what to comes. With practise, you should be able to 'dance' the salution. Bye
This is really great! I have a question about breathing. Sometimes I lose track and I'm inhaling when you're saying exhale. Is that really really wrong? For example, when reaching up, you MUST inhale and when going to downward facing dog you MUST exhale? Thanks so much for all the videos. I prefer doing yoga at home instead of in a class and you've been a great help for a beginner like me.
what purpose does it have to stretch with the front leg slightly bend? maybe ego does not allow bending less rather than being truthfull and finding the right starting point to stretch. Asanas are not meant to be visually nice, but inwardly truthfull if yamas and niyamas are followed and if self realization is desired
I have to agree with Rasmuzzen, I was surprised just how complicated the sequence actually is... That said I didn't even know there was a moon salutation, never occured to me. It's funny how yoga shows how unbalanced your body is when you start. I can do almost any stretch with my upper body and the muscles in the front of my legs but my calf muscles are so tight I cant plant my feet in Down Dog, that said I'm working on it. A vid on planing your own sequence would be great!
Hello, why are there so many vastly different sequences of asanas being shown for 'Chandra Namaskar'? For instance, the Yoga Journal version is completely different to this version (apart from the high lunge). For a beginner, it is confusing since it is unclear which and how to choose. Thanks for clarification.
The reason is because there are so many different lineages of yoga, and each lineage has their version of understanding the postures and sequences that are so old they were being practiced before the birth of Christ!!! A lot gets lost through the passage of time and must be pieced together by us modern folk!!!! That was my beef, too, when I first studied yoga. Be patient, enjoy, and always expect contradictions. With something this old, you can count on contradictions. Do what feels best for your body. Yoga is very grey, not black and white. Keep up your practice!!!
Rebecca Laney-Meers +excellent advice! I"m so glad I wonder over here and saw your response. I've been studying yoga for a little over a year in a 500 hour yoga teacher training program. I see so many contradictions. I figured I needed to relax and expect them. :)
@@rebeccalaney-meers9351 Yoga is a very old practice, but it has been only a spiritual practice until very recently. All the yoga poses and sequences only developed in the last hundred-and-something years. The reason for so many differences, is because there are as many styles of yoga as there are teachers- which can be confusing, but very freeing as well :)
@mogroovee Hi, is it ok to have the palms facing the front instead? I briefly learned that, but done facing front. What is the right/recommended way actually? thank u. :)
This is the best routine on youtube. Short and quick. Helps to keep the breathing in coordination with the poses easily.
agree!!!! I love Ester!

Dear Esther. I follow your meditation sessions for the past week thanks to Jerome Bel councils. I would like to thank you deeply for the deep moments you offer and the great feeling to share those emotions with many people around the world. thank you so much
The best one I’ve ever practiced, thank you
This is lovely! I enjoyed your sequence to help my class celebrate the pink moon
Благодарю за подробное объяснение 🙏🙏 Великолепный комплекс и прекрасное выполнение 🙌✨🌺🙏🙏

Thank you for the demonstration of Moon Salutation - lovely.
Fabulous sequence. Thank you. My students and I have been practicing various sequences of Moon Salutation, and I agree with my students. This particular sequence is the most enjoyable. Again, thank you!!!
Nice clear explanation and lovely to experience another version of Chandra Namaskara. Thank you for taking the time to place on UA-cam!
Thank you for making this video easy to follow for those of us who aren't as limber or coordinated.
The balance and symmetry of this sequence is beautiful. Thank you.
From this video I've learned to do Moon salutation - it was understandable and I liked the repeating on the right side part. Helped to strenghten the skills.
I look forward to teaching this in my classes. Seems like the best time in a class for this would be before going to sitting/reclinning poses.
I love this! Thank you so much. Your instruction is wonderful and inspiring. I am a Yoga teacher and want to instruct Chandra Namaskara tomorrow in my class as it's a full moon. With your help I think it'll go well xxoo
hello esther. I am from the Philippines and how I greatly admire you. namaste beautiful soul.
Every step explicitly explained...thank you :)
Wonderful demonstration! You have a very calming presence!
Thank you so much for this. It is easy to follow for a beginner, but not to slow or simple
Thanks ever so much for sharing. I am planning to lead moon salutations at class this week. Thank you!! Beautiful!
Een hartstikke mooie oefening, 👍🙏

This left me feeling very relaxed, thank you so much for sharing :)
good explanation, thank you so much...and nice tempo as well.
Thank you for your video and generous compassion.
very good, but I think your last pose would better back to right side , not left, right? thanks
Thank you for this succinct video.

Thanks so much Ester :-)

Hi what is the minimum sets you should do?

Asanas are not meant to be visually nice, but inwardly truthfull if yamas and niyamas are followed and if self realization is desired
that was fun thank you : )
Beautiful sequence. Are you a Kripalu Yoga teacher? How did you find this?
I have to agree with Rasmuzzen, I was surprised just how complicated the sequence actually is... That said I didn't even know there was a moon salutation, never occured to me.

and here I am in 2024
Hi-hi from 2024!
I never do yoga. But this is look nice. Its yoga only for women and girl? Or ok for man?
it is great for men. It is for all bodies.

This is Swedish stretches dear
Hi, can anyone tell me what is the name of that pose in 4:00 ? Are the palms supposed to face the head (ears) or towards the front? Thanks. :)
From what tradition is this sequence?
What is the pose at 1:00 called ?
