I use Loctite superglue. I've tried e6000 & it never really cured. I could easily pop acrylic off so I changed to superglue. I do let them sit a few days before I seal in bags to let any fumes dissipate. Otherwise, I would get a cloudy look on backs of toppers.
It does want to self level. Most of us will spread it around to make process happen faster. It's also why it will drip over side of acrylic sometimes if there's an excess of resin. Heat will make the resin a bit thinner so it might overflow a bit if there's too much resin as it gets warm from UV lamp. Not enough resin & you end up with a divit in your coating. I put something to protect finished back so clean up is easier from any spill over.
Great video...learned a lot. I never thought to put it back under the light from the front.
Thank u for sharing. I'm just starting to do badge reels and keychains
Happy to help! Happy crafting!
Where can I find the paws svg. Thanks.
I found a free picture on the internet & uploaded it to my Cricut to create the SVG.
What glue do you use to glue the topper on the badge reel!?

Newbie here…Is resin not self leveling?
