I have working with uv resin a while and one tip someone shared with me on getting it to cute a little faster is to use a small mirror to place your item on top. Complete gamechanger for me.

I find myself holding my breath while you are lining them up for transfer. I can see this is out for me. I take medications that cause my hands to jerk. The more I need them to stay steady, the more they jerk. So, I get to make these things vicariously. Great video.

I bought some blanks from website today (from phone) and I can get on website on my laptop to get the cut files.. the website just has dot moving in middle of screen and nothing else
May I ask what transfer tape you are using? Mine sucks and I love how yours is pretty strong.

@zindee i don’t need to sand the acrylic before putting uv and glitter? Some told me it will peel off if i don’t sand but other said it is fine not to sand the acrylics first

I have never used uv resin before. You said to heat it with the heat, can any heat gun be used to do this to get the bubbles out?

I am working on my first acrylic blank and when I cut the white vinyl it is to big, are they supposed to be bigger for some reason?
So I am trying to add another layer of uv resin on top of the uv resin glitter layer and uv resin keeps pulling from the edges. I have placed what I think is more than enough uv resin but it keeps pulling from the edges. What am i doing wrong? Does it matter that the glitter is chunky?

Do you not need to wear a mask or be in a ventilated area when using UV resin as you do with the regular 2 step resin?

HI!! The machine is for the UV epoxy, if you don’t have you need to use the SUN instead, like for 2 hrs, maybe or more. Or you can use the regular epoxy and it take 6 to 24 hrs to cure

You can’t use it outdoors, sunlight cures it

Will a heat gun work instead of a torch?
I've used a heat gun on the few badge reels I've made and continually get bubbles. However, I never waited a few after heating them with the gun before putting them under the light. I'm going to try this on my next one and see if that helps. If not, I'm going to be buying a torch... Fingers crossed!
