    First few minutes is small documentary.
    Second part is my complaints.
    After the intro clips are the gameplay clips.

    3:50, go play the F-4E the sparrows are amazing for one reason: you can't fire down at targets, while the soviets constantly overhauled missile designs, the sparrow mostly remains unchanged, only in the AiM-7P was the seeker changed to perform better at targets in PD mode, it's the missile seeker with the problem unfortunately hopefully it'll be fixed if they add inverse monopulse seekers to 7Ms also if you look at the tip (idk when they changed this) but sparrows only have head on PD mode, not moving away PD mode

    War thunder really is amazing in how it manages to 'predict' the real performance of some vehicles that historically had little in the way of fair or unsimulated fights. Say what you want about the T-72s and Abrams, but their performance in game has managed to translate well into their irl records, especially this week with the news of the Abrams (like the Callys) getting pulled from frontline service due to their poor performance. Its actually amazing how gaijin has essentially made a fairly reliable combat calculator and they waste it on milking people for GE.

      It's honestly pretty scary just how accurate it is lol

      The Abrams got pulled off the front because they were useless. They'd just be getting drone targeted. It doesn't say anything about the real performance.

      @@ImJustVale You can watch the videos of all 5-6 getting knocked out, they were ATGM fodder and were all slagged within 500 meters of eachother. It does not take an expert to realize that isn't exactly "good".

      @@EnderGhost119 you didnt say anything new.... atgm have been a problem as long as they've existed. "tHeN wHy" tactics kiddo.... they've been bogged down in fortified positions for how long? Thats heaven for any gunner. Ukraine doesn't have the numbers to replace them so they pull them... What he said was correct.

    Seems like rudder and pitch at the same time will cause the rip.

    I'm pretty sure that without the plane's radar an AIM-7 wouldn't have any guidance at all, so it makes sense to me at least what you say about the Sparrows

    The F15 Eagle was also created due to the new "Threat" that the Russians had made and presented Aka. The MIG 25 Foxbat, To the U.S. The new MIG-25 Foxbat looked like the most fierce plane known to man at the time until someone by the name of Viktor Belenko had stolen a Mig-25 Foxbat and had flown it to the Hakodate Airport and it was sent to the American Military for closer viewing and it turns out they made such a good plane for something that couldn't even touch the F15 whatsoever.

    Wing snapping happens a lot and doesn't just excludes to F-15s, sometimes they just snap out of the blue even without any control input

    To think we got the 80's/90's f15a from the or ang without its radar capabilities lol
    Not even an early f15a from the 70s/80s with only 7e2df/fs + 9e/j/p4/ls lol xd

      @@Mr.Sketchs i dont think carrying 60+ mins of fuel with the drop tanks on the wings help either

    • @Mr.Sketchs
      @Mr.Sketchs  Місяць тому

      @@Phoenix1.s Oh I never ran that much fuel. Most maps I run the drop tank and 28 minutes of fuel. By the time I got to battlefield I was only around 22 minutes of fuel. Most snaps happened under 15 minutes of fuel remaining.
