As bad as i feel for spook, i feel worse for all those players being possesed by the snail to utterly annihilate this poor youtuber. 😔
In AB, it's the winning team that bomb the shit out of the enemy, denying any comeback. In RB, it's the guy who died with one kill and will bomb the guy that killed him. Great game design in both case , Gaijin !
the best part is that in RB those people usually cost their team the game, because they leave after their suicidal revenge kill, and if if they don't die they often expend their ordinance without concern to how it's helping the game on the ground, and can't cap or decap. So in my experience and from what I've seen the team getting bombed in RB actually can still pull out a win because they still actually cap/decap the points, and the team with everyone in the air has no one to decap even if they're effective, with the remaining people on the ground leaving out of frustration since they have no actual help on the ground.
And the "best" thing in all that game design is that you can choose to fight only planes (no player tanks/ships etc) but YOU CAN'T play tanks only no damn way to play without revengebombers and all that scum.

the problem with cas in arcade is that no one knows that the bombs have a fuze timer in the air, so instead of taking out the bombers, they all become godsweats with rockets

Full uptier Russia with no 122's wasn't gonna go down well with a very good Pershing player (Didn't have any of the larger gunned stuff unlocked at the time, and at that range the 85 might well have been a 20mm), and I attempted to somewhat mitigate the threat with my IL-10. Safe to say I was pretty damn rusty with bomb aiming that day lmao
My guess is that people have begun to recognise him even though he uses that autogenerated name for streamers and stuff. It’s likely his play style that get peoples attention. Edit: Additionally, it’s likely that people do type in ingame chat about him during matches but he doesn’t see them because he has it turned off (probably because regularly to constantly censoring messages would be annoying).

@@justat1149 I think it's less about the vehicle and more about his performance. I don't get killed by CAS often, but when I do, it's because I actually survived the first 2 minutes of actual fighting in a match. The longer you survive in a match, the more planes you'll come across.

People in higher mobility vehicles will have a better chance of displacing from their previous engagement location. The ambusher should forced to move, static gameplay is not fun in the slightest.
I remember when it used to actually be possible to evade or tank bombs, but ever since overpressure was added in as a mechanic, you could be like a kilometer away from a little firecracker on even level, and loss all crew in your open top M36. Because I guess that's how pressure waves work. Apparently some magic force just goes up and over the walls of the turret and into the crew compartment, and also manages to kill the driver too somehow.
Heavy tanks have been suffering from the same thing. Now with overpressure, even the smallest bomb can kill you from a few meters away. And because they are big and slow, you just can't escape from them. Get any assist, spawn a Corsair with bombs, kamikaze against anything, run out of SP and go away without doing anything useful for tout team.
Planes used to be really expensive to spawn in years back. Honestly, it was way better before because people actually had to put some work to spawn in planes.

It’s kinda funny that for 712 sp you can spawn an a2d with a 4 thousand pound bomb and two 2 thousand pound bombs essentially being able to kill half or more of their entire team
The key is that you can do that with virtually no effort or skill. Almost any tank is technically able to wipe out tons of players, but planes require zero actual brain activity to do so.

Had a game mofo rushed the first cao immediatwly J-Ed out and spawned a Wyvern with 3 1000lb bombs. Dude got 5 kills in a second ( triple killed 2 jumbos and a m10) and basically ended the match right there single handedly. As the enemy pushed us into oblivion.

recently I decided to grind rank 1 germany for a bit of fun and i quickly found out that the amount of cas in rank 1 is overwhelming. It got so horrible that i changed my tag-nickname thing to "Anti-aircraft" and got a fighter and SPAA just to deal with all of the planes. 15mm HE go brrr
Now we need a montage of SPAAG/SAM taking care of CAS.
