Condolences, I never had the privilege to come to England but I always liked hearing her speak I think she was a grand lady. Just letting you know we're thinking of her across the pond take care.

Goodness me!!! I never knew what the magnetic wand was 😂I remember stealing it from my mother’s sewing box, wondering what this strange standalone radio antenna was for 😂. Now, I am a sewer (and radio antennas are a thing of the past) and a little bit less of an ignorant thanks to your most useful video! 🤩

This is a great list of quilting must-haves. Snips are great, especially for older fingers! I actually use my rotating mat more than I thought I would when I purchased it.

Love snips, I have a small command hook stuck on all my machines to hook my snips on. Never get lost, as long as I put them back!

I agree with you. These are my favourites too. I would swap the last one for a magnetic seam guide.

I love my 57 Bernina Foot. I sew with 1 click to the right for a perfect scant. Snips: Put them on a lanyard and they are around your neck and always where you know where they are. I have a pair of precision eagle beak (thinner and pointier). I use them for fabric handling when in need a secure grab and perfect placement, threading my serger (as the serger tweezers are clumsy) and turning binding corners. Instant stiletto too. Love your tips.

Would anyone like to share what their favorite sewing machine is? If not, I totally understand people may not want to disclose the brand names here - but just curious - I have been using a Brother - it is good and great as a beginner - kinda wanted to in time, upgrade a bit - there are other Brother models... I have been looking and trying to compare other sewing machines - I know Singer is a popular brand - but I also see other quilting tutorials where they are using the Bernina (kinda expensive) but I'm sure great, and the Baby Lock? Maybe it all just depends on what and how much sewing you are doing! Thanks! :-)

Hi, am new in quilting world. Can you teach me how to use a rotary cutter correctly? Often when I do it it did not cut perfectly or I dont get a clean cut. Is it the way I press down my hand when do the cutting matters?
