Man gotta say, you guys are really doing something good here, delivering a more affordable e-bike. You are really cleaning up the environment and contributing to a greener infrastructure by doing this. Most people can't afford a 15000 euro e-bike. A lot of people choose petroleum based bikes just because of how overpriced electric alternatives are. Most bikes sell around 12000 euro's, I could afford a really good car for that money not a bike I take out for rides a couple times a week.
You are doing something good, not just doing business and milking every last penny out of it but actually providing for people and helping the environment by making it more widely affordable.

As someone who used to cycle extensively here in the US you may want to consider adding an area under the back of the seat to hold some sort of bike lock. All I did was cycle for a few years. (about 400 km a week all summer long)
You don't want to have someone walk off with it when you take a trip to the store or where ever.
My favorite back in the day was one that was part of my rear rack. The U lock just had a slot it slipped into on the rack where it clipped in.
You will also want several serial numbers. Including at least one that is semi hidden.
If my legs still worked normally I would be super interested, but alas they do not.

    • @ladiandmargaret
      @ladiandmargaret  4 роки тому +1

Agree with having a lock. I’m actually designing something custom, which I’ll show in another video. Just like with a motorcycle, you don’t want to hook it with a dinky bike lock. This will also have an alarm that will be nice and loud, just like v4.2 had!

I bought a 60 MPH onyx bike & it was well worth the money . If you know what your doing you can soup them up & get 70 to 75 MPH out of them & still keep your 75 mile range . I modified mine a lot & it didn’t void the warranty on it . I had it professionally repainted a military ghost flat black camouflage , lowered the stance a bit , lighten up the bike by adding better parts that were lighter , added a brighter front light ,set the handle bars forward a bit for better control , took off any unnecessary parts to lighten the bike , I bought aftermarket Nobby tires that fit it that were way lighter & more thicker , put in a new crank that set the pedals center of the bike . Now this thing is super fast & super fun to ride . I bought a extra battery so I always have one handy & fully charged at the ready . I drove it 50 miles to one of my favorite fishing lakes & back home & it was a blast.

This is cool, with the lights and the tires mark sure that they are e-marked this is one thing that can catch you out, in the UK we have the MSVA guide that states what we must meet for the moped or motorbike to be used on public roads. As you are manufacturing the bike you may also need to provide COC, not 100% sure thou. There are other little things like dip able headlight, shut off kick stand, hazard lights that can function when the bike is off, Tell tell light to indicate the headlight is on high beam. As a whole many things but ideally to should have read the relevant guide before the build and definitely during the build too. But great work!

@Dino Scott Grindle the dude doesn’t know his shit bro, this is basic battery , brushless motor and Esc tech , they are using it in everything from Rc cars to Airplanes, drones, toys, cars, bikes , Etc.
This guy isn’t solving any of our future problems, in fact he’s only adding to the myriads of problems, heres a few. #1 right now police do not bother with pulling over E-bikes, with bikes like these on the street police will be bothering all E-bikers, asking for proof of power , Etc. #2 government will be taxing and demanding licenses/licensing, Etc, putting their hands deeper in our pockets. #3 more and more laws will be made thus creating more chances for arrests, fines, Etc, and the government money machine continues to enslave the masses. #4 the injuries associated with extremely powerful bikes like these will rise exponentially causing more issues I can’t begin to list here. #5 insurance companies will line the pockets of our lawmakers “AGAIN” and force laws making it mandatory to carry insurance on these bikes , thus making the burden heavier on the taxpayer. I could go on and on with the many many problems associated with these overpowered bikes, there is nothing wrong with the E-bikes a regulations we have right now, more powerful bikes are not necessary and will only cause more unnecessary problems. FUCK THIS IDIOT and his super fast and powerful E-bikes, his greed to get rich will only harm the future of light travel .

If you can, if it's possible make an easy way to remove blinkers right and left turn need that Deff for street legal here where I am there acceptable they will not legal it my state you can just ride anything ,it's a part time town and state so if you need a cop he's at home with only one cruiser 😂 this is my dream to have one and ride casually with no impedance from any local authorities,i hope you get mass production maybe financing options and other ways for people who can't make a lump payment, love you man great work .

I like the power, but I crunched the numbers. The battery would reach LVC low voltage cut off in about than 10 minutes at full power. 27 KW is enough power to get it to 90 on level ground, though I don't know what the phase variances of the motor are so it may have a lesser top speed. But if the top speed were 90 you could go 15 miles in 10 minutes on the highway.

Street legal in NYC without a license it has to move max speed 20MPH. Anything higher you have to have a license and register the bike at the DMV

REVERSE TRIKE BUILD??? Your ebikd looks awesome! Could you build a 3 wheel reverse trike? So many companies have said they would do it but never do. It could be a similar design but more like the T-Rex and hold 2 people but still be really light weight and use the same size tires. It would be classified as a motorcycle in most areas too. Please let me know what you think. I've talked to so many people about this and you seem to know how to get it done for an affordable price! Thanks!

Well... We can say it's really good and light weight just by seeing it. But please used hub motors. So that you can reduce losses. Hope you reply for this comment.

The goal is for this one to be street legal. The process can be a little different everywhere, so we’ll try it out first here in Czech

@@ladiandmargaret If you want it street legal in EU, than the brake light and turn signals MUST be separate !

I would like to see the chainless bikes that the motor is fixed in the rear wheel with more flexible double tyre. Rear wheel could contain double material to avoid the shock. Without chain, it will be more silent and more efficient.

Cool info. I’m converting a BMW k1200s and always looking for ideas. I’d probably need at least two of those battery packs and a more powerful motor and controller since my donor set up is much heavier.

I would recommend the same batteries. Send me an email at Ladi@mysuperebike.com if you want some.
