Thanks for this. I do mine every year and most of what I do is from memory of what my dad did with the lawn. This really clarifies the process for getting that really nice grass. I was always in awe of my old neighbours bowling green type garden grass now I know how to get mine the same. Thanks !
Apologies for the late reply. Please see procedure here however if you plan to do some overseeding afterwards, then we recommend waiting until Autumn to do this - www.lawnsmith.co.uk/lawn-care-advice/moss-control-removal/moss-removal
Great video. I'm going to be scarifying my lawn this weekend and over seeding. Will i need to cover the seed to stop the birds from eating it as we have lot's of wildlife in our garden. If so what would you recommend covering the seed with ?
great vid, my only complaint would be the lawns are always perfect, I'm trying to fix the lawn in my new house and am starting from a really bad place, loads of weeds, moss and bare patches. I just don't know what to do first.

If my grass is long, do I mow first, then rake it straight after, apply moss killer/lawn feed after?

Where would you get that rake with the wheels?
From here Ann www.lawnsmith.co.uk/prod/lawn-aerator-scarifier/lawn-scarifier.htm

Scarify/rake, aerate, fertilise then out down a load of grass seed never letting the soil go dry. It’ll look ten times better in about a month.
Many thanks very informative and helpful
Thanks for this. Very useful. Only you make it look easy... It is hard work, :)
