“Clean up your work area” only works if you are able in that moment to do it 😅 I find that a lot of adhd tips are basically telling us to do things that we can’t do 🤦🏻‍♀️ or that we struggle to do.. in order to make our lives easier. But the point is - if we could do them in the first place we wouldn’t be watching videos like this 🤣

What I like to do is take a very small Chunk of the "big" cleaning up task and give myself 300 seconds to do it. Think of it as 300s not 5mins. After that if you still feel like continuing, then you've won. If not, appreciate the little bit you got done within the time limit.

I recently found out I have some hearing loss and was given hearing aids. Because I also have Tinnitus the doctor gave me some hearing aids that have white noise....I have found them very soothing. I like wearing em all the time. I can concentrate when people are talking to me.
Oh, and I am undiagnosed with ADHD, but the more I listen to this videos, the more I know I have it.
When I go back to Tx I will get tested

Other tip, keep a spare house key and if possible flat duplicate of your car key in your wallet. This is especially helpful if you have a habit of getting out of your car and locking it before realizing you left the keys in the ignition. 😂

My problem with always putting things in my the same place.... I always forget to put them there. Keys for example: I'll completely walk past the keyhook in the kitchen, go all the way upstairs, only to find the keys in my pocket. But takes too much energy and too much motivation to go back down and put them in place. Ugh! 😮

Super human before deadlines, tasks always got complete when at job :)). Doing small or big tasks in the house is different story, sometimes i decide to relax and have no more care about the task. If i release that stress i can enjoy some very good music for some hours (5 - 24 hours), dance, dream, be a happy butterfly, then in a moment, to get a working mood - a mood that i will supervise, support and take maximum advantage of. If the task is long i try not to stop at night and not to split it for tomorrow, as i am very afraid it could remain undone for long time, like 2 weeks, 2 months.
About loosing stuff, I loose nothing for months or years. Rarely i forget the phone in a place and this are literary all on this topic :)). I assume i also have OCD (did not get diagnoses yet). Imagine i lost only one lighter in a 7 days psychedelic huge festival with camping, and i also found a new lighter after few hours, in the food court.

The loudness of background music and the speed of your narration is highly irritating for me because it's already excruciatingly enough trying to stay focused on the content which I constantly have to rewind as I lose track of what you're saying. This is my living hell and I cannot wait to start feeling better. Thank you for these videos. It's been bittersweet for me ever since I realized that for ever I've been experiencing all of the classic symptoms of ADHD and now, fuly blown out of control. I want to embrace my condition for much needed peace of mind. Literally.

There is nothing wrong with selling as a concept. There is nothing wrong with selling something on this this video. I get your point. You associated the selling with a person who is only interested to lure and take advantage but it is not the case here. The video gives info that is useful, clear, structured, this is not plain talking. There is an effort, time and interest implied into creating this media content. The merch is optional, there are people who are also interested to buy related customized items and there are also people who would buy to support a good video producer and also the next video production - understanding not everyone is rich, we all have bills to pay and most of us having full time jobs to deal with life will kill any other extra activity. And even if he would have enough money and free time it is still nothing wrong to sell something. It is a fair activity of trade and all we posses, eat, enjoy comes from a trade. Nothing to get offended LOL
