I like this Tarzan film, along with much of the other ones with Johnny Weismuller and Maureen O'Sullivan, which I have seen.
But Jane's betrayal and almost death were really unfair and uncalled for. So it really helped that MGM listened to the outrage and protests of the planned ending and changed it. The series otherwise wouldn't have been the same without her, and the following two films also wouldn't even have worked right if she weren't involved. So she belongs to it.

J.W était un nageur hors pair, il n'était pas un acteur ( par ex: il n'a jamais pris de cours dramatique) MAIS pour la postérité il est resté........le TARZAN !!@@@

In the novels Tarzan develops a dislike for the black tribesmen.
Does anyone remember why ? I have forgotten.

This review is like from the mind of a 10 year old boy, who can't understand that this movie was made 85 years ago, and it was the latest tech at that time. Tarzan (J.W.) movies were hit worldwide, while this silly review has only 82 likes and many dislikes.

Haha, 10 year old. That's fair, that's about my mental level. To be honest though, I'm usually respectful of dated tech in old films and only point out things if perhaps something about it made me chuckle. Did I say something you disapprove of in this review?
