Hi Craig, this specific Rotary Oven does not feature the microwave function, this is however available on our CombiQuick ovens www.aeg.co.uk/kitchen/cooking/compact-built-in-range/compact-oven/kmk565060b/

Didn't you have to use steam function also during the burning process, and put water inside?

Hi Tamara, no you do not need to utilise any steam functionality during initial burn off. Hope this helps.
