The thief actually can potentially get some of the most mileage out of the masamune due to his speed and how many hits he does. The thief is also a lot better comparatively to his original iteration. Also the red mage is actually capped out at level 7 for magic. It can not learn level 8 magic aka the final spells. There are also class only spells for white mage and black mage. The heal line and Dia line as a prime example.
This was actually the first proper ff game I played after experiencing Dissidia on psp. Boy did I love this game. Loved getting the best weapons and exploring the bonus Dungeons
I have played the pixel remaster many times and interestingly come up with a new form of completion for the game. This will force you to grind out the extra dungeons and waste countless hours of your life but this is the real world and a lot of things are a waste of time

Knight armor is, in truth, the 2nd strongest in defense, worst in evasion (trash tier), and has no resistances for any of the 8 elemental damage type sources. Never buy it in Melmond (45k)... or put it on any character (fighters are embarrassed to have it in their inventory). Second worse is iron armor, but you get it for free in Marsh cave.

i mean i got the story straight from the original utlimania and a few devs have also said this over the years, what interview are you on about?
@@Primalliquid92 Famitsu's interview with Sakaguchi. It was originally going to be Fighting Fantasy, but overlapped with some boardgame. He really wanted that FF abbreviation though, and Final seemed as good a word as any, but didn't have any special meaning. "Any F word would do".
Having hard time finding a good rom file for this specific version you have all I found is nes and 20th anniversary either don't have the glitches you were talking about
I’m ok with glitches being used it’s just a PvE and not a speed rub either
Also primal uses his notes for walkthroughs and I use his videos for walkthroughs
Sorry to be that guy but the thing you said about it being called final fantasy because it was their last shot is a fake rumour that actually wanted to call it final fight or something but the name was already taken so they settled on final fantasy!:)
Yeah, Fighting Fantasy was already trademarked (it's a series of CYOA-style books where you have stats and have to roll dice for certain decisions) but they were adamant it have the syllables FF.
Yeah isn't something to do with how "FF" looks or sounds in Japanese?
What is this graphic, is this for pc ?
I have played the NES version but I haven't beaten it though. I only had 3 of the 4 orbs
Okay what the hell I started playing this last week, how did you know??
time trave... i mean just lucky timing
@@Primalliquid92 I think I love FF1 the most, I could talk about this damn thing for hours. It's simple as hell, has virtually no story, but it's so interesting! And I love how the new game is based off literally one line of dialogue at the beginning.
