Great video with good tips. I never would have thaught to pure some oil threw it after all the oil is drained out. Sounds like this trick would work for lawn tractors as well
Thanks for your video! One thing I noted while watching is that the oil filter part number listed on the kit box (time :43) is 5GH-13440-20, but the part number shown on the oil filter you installed (time 6:19) was 5GH-13440-50. Can only assume that the -50 is an interchangeable filter for the -20??
Mark B. Some Yamaha outboards called for the same 5gh1344020 filter. It was a Japan made Denso filter. It got replaced by that new part number. It still a Denso filter but now made in Thailand. Maybe not made quite as well. Wix made Napa platinum 41358 could be an alright alternative. Especially when Napa puts them on sale.
is there a video on how change a stator ,im not sure if this the problem since my grizzly went through some slush been having problems with battery draining , my engine light comes on follow by the eps and then if i shut it off it wont start so i charged it again ,please help

Sometimes I'll use a flathead screwdriver and hit it with a hammer or K and N has an oil filter that has a nut welded on it.

"...my grizzly went through some slush..."
I believe YOU drove through some slush.
YOU did ! ...
yamaha sells a filter wrench that covers the end of the filter and gives you the ability to use a ratchet on the filter wrench. less than 20$
Cool thanks for the info
Looks like you have also a torn C V boot ? sticks are hell on them .
I didn't notice that but i'm going out to the garage now to check! Thanks for the heads up and for watching!!
@@highislanddiy9361 Make sure you change your differential oil especially if you have a torn cv boot.
Had the same problem with my filter. Pain in the a**
Yeah. The filters on the grizzleys suck. I just use channel locks to get mine off.
