I mean, a week or two after a hurricane probably means lots of scrap... but wow are those old big-boy nuggets amazing.

Unbelievable monster stators. Massive copper chunks everywhere in the shop. The 8,000LB would be the biggest bad ass chunk on UA-cam. You got a GREAT deal at 35 cents. WOW! I can understand why you want to process that stuff as fast as possible. That yard has a Gold mine waiting for you. Looking forward to seeing it man.

Was wondering to myself before why you didn’t buy motorss and transformers from scrapyards, been doing this for years up here in Canada. Lot of old oilfield equipment out in the bush is where I also get tons of electric motors and cherry pick the easiest and better ones to process, the rest get crated up and shipped out. It’s very worth it to scrap them out, lot of scrappers and junkers up here seem to not have the drive to put in the extra work and time to do it though, means more for me lol. Keep up the great content 😎👍🏾

A lot of job cutting that thick steel. I wonder if your plasma cutter could do it.

last year i processt about 10 Tons of industrial switsches, similar to yours. We dismanteld them manual, give plastic and steal away, and all the copper, without silver. we get abot 1 ton of steel, 1 ton of copper. (nr. 2 ) and 7 tons of yunk. and we get 1 ton of copper with silver coating and with silver contact pads. That go to an industrial refiner (Aurubis Germany) they analysed it, melt it down and refine it for me.
The result of this ton was 600 kilos copper and 160 kilogram of Silver. what was realy good The silver price is abot 1000 dollar per kilo and rising .
i pay in germany für this switsches about 2 dollar /pound compleatly. as is. you can send me 20 tons :-)
