Yes and it has been that way for a long time. Homeschooling is defense. I have done it. I've protected my own children as the system has become more corrupt. Also, the leftists are now targeting curriculums for Homeschooling. While I have done this, the world has continued to burn. I'm glad I do it but this has to stop. No more defense. It's offense time.

Back in the day when people got married, it was really "until death do you part." You stayed the marriage and worked things out. Then someone came up with the great idea of the uncontested divorce. People no longer had to work at their marriage, they could just get a divorce because they wanted to. The divorce rate in this country exploded.

Teacher here- my students slip up and call me dad all the time. While at times it make me feel like I’m doing a good job because the kid respects me, it makes me feel so so tremendously sad- dad should be there for them at home, mom should be there for them at home, there should really be a bigger conversation about families taking time in the day to work together as a unit to be their family unit.
It’s time. So much of society nowadays between working multiple jobs, school, sports practice, and on and on is spent and burnt on not being at home as a family. So much time is wasted and lost and “family time” is minimized.
I’m hear to teach them to read and write and do math- if I’m also playing the role of dad… then something is fundamentally wrong with the way we live.
And that’s where schools mess up- they take on the role of mom and dad, and then they personalize it to the point they actually think they are mom and dad and act like they’re even better than mom and dad. It’s an ego trap. Once you go down that road it becomes a viscous trap. School is school and dad is dad.

My question to them was why would you have a child that ended up spending on average 12 hours a day in daycare? Then on your day spend it catching up with laundry. No wonder the divorce rate is so high. What husband? On top of that the Government doesn’t even acknowledge a mother at home as having a job. Therefore no credit or very little towards Social Security. Do you know where your children are? I know where mine are and probably yours too. My husband worked off shore and not for one minute did he worry if our children were being taken care of. Focused on his job kept his crew safe and took wonderful care of his family. As a father of three I can’t understand how anyone in the middle class could afford to have a parent stay at home. I work full time as an engineer and we’ve done what we had to do so my wife can work part time. We make ~$130k/year and our finances are very tight. I think the financial situation in America has degraded the traditional family structure.

Ultimately it is the parents fault. You bring this life into the world but when they are just several months old you drop the baby off at a daycare with strangers and let them raise them for 9 hours a day. In places like Canada this is paid for by the taxpayers. People can say that mom's need to work so they have no choice....Bullsh-t. I know a more parents who choose not to stay home even though they can because it is easy for them to have a stranger do the really hard job of raising the kids and letting the taxpayer pick up the bill. They like the title mom/dad but not the job. At age 3 or 4 they send them to preschool then kindergarten then 12 years of public education and do nothing themselves. Then they blame the schools/teachers and government for idiot children. NO...ultimately the parents are to blame. If you choose to have children...raise them. I applaud full time parents and abhor part time so-called parents.

Yes, it is so important for men to make their wives and mother of their children feel valued. I was left by my husband of 17 years for a younger women at his work. He was law enforcement which is full of cheaters. I was told he was just my meal ticket by him. I worked part time at a school, did all the cooking, shopping, cleaning, laundry, yard work, money and bills. I took my daughters to school and picked them up, helped them with their homework and night time routine. We were Christians so I believed and went to church, I was Girl Scout Leader. After he left me for pregnant co worker, I was made to feel worthless. This is still so common, it breaks my heart. He ruined my daughters who loss their faith when they Dad became someone else.

Because no matter how you see this, it's a battle. The stronger will always win. That's why some parents win some kids while others lose some to the teachers/system

There was even a professor who gave a lecture on this theory of social deconstruct on why we are never indebted to our parents for birth 🙄 he vehemently tried to convince us that we never choose to be born or we never have our free will or consent to be born on this earth so he inferred our parents do not own us basically reiterating we ought to abandon them as soon as we achieve physical and financial independence

And anybody with both parents in the house and a good income don’t realize how good it is for that child/children and we also need to make sure we are educating children on topics and actually parenting them bc luckily even tho I grew up with only a mom, she was a parent not a friend, and I see so many households with parents who are there kids friend when that’s not how it’s supposed to be. I’m not gonna say my age but I’m in my late teens so I’m young enough that I have a 17 year old friend and their dad just buys them all the alcohol they want and threw them parties. Like wtf is wrong with people that you buy ur kids alcohol not only just for them but for dozens of kids that are as young as 14 like honestly I don’t understand people.
