Great review! When I bought the a53 at release, I didn't care for it. I went back to my Pixel. I recently tried it again and I really like it. Bang for the buck, it's hard to beat!
Haha same here. I kept going back to my LG v40 because it's touchscreen sensitivity is perfect and a53 slows me down. But after I dig into all the a53 settings and see how polished samsungs apps are I'm using it 100% now. I'll wait for samsung to release more updates that hopefully fixes the laggy keyboard.. but in meantime it's still usable because it's packed with top notch features.. incredible cameras and battery life lasts lifetime
Been using mine for 4 months and I love it. Good battery, excellent camera, great battery and good gaming. Got mine from the Samsung store tho 😬 for $400
Samsung's Galaxy A series are great phones. They have the best price/quality ratio on the market. And now with 4 years of guaranteed Android updates, they become irresistible. I am waiting for the Galaxy A54 to appear and I will buy it. The only bad thing is that they are all plastic. Samsung could have at least made the case out of aluminum.
Have always used Samsung right up till last week and changed to redmi and can say honestly the price/quality of the redmi compared to the Samsung is scary, the redmi blows samsung out the water in terms of value
@@zebra7578 only had it a week and it's been really good, friend got it at the start of the year and says he hasn't missed his Samsung's either. sd card slot, headphone Jack as backup, good stereo speakers, brilliant amoled display(its a Samsung display) handles games no prob, faster charging than samsung/iPhone flagships, wish I had taken the risk earlier tbh. The last weeks i was so torn between the A series and the Pixel6a but the more and more i think about it, the less appealing the pixel looks to me. Honestly i think the A series is just a better all around package for most people for how of a flexible device it is. You trade a better camera and you gain so many other cool things in return that just outweights it. And lets be real, an a series phone can create nice photos aswell, especially if you go gcam and if you run them through stuff like photoshop to get those colors and stuff on top where they belong (or you just do black white images wich i love) And if you re in the market for a budget-midrange phone (so youre probably not a 1000$ flagship phone snob) you usually wont bother that much with a little lag sometimes here and there, it is still usable. Your life wont end, just because of it. Heck i was using the most garbage 6-7 year old phone for the last years or so... that wasnt even fast enough to make a keyboard popout within 10 seconds at times. and i m still alive... yes its annying but you get used to it and it wont affect my life in any shape or form...the phone still does what its supposed to do.
