If anybody runs into an issue where F1/F2 do nothing and you see the console error message "melonloader is unable to AngledCamera", reinstall melonloader, uncheck 'latest', and select V0.5.7 instead of 0.6. This will solve the problem
I FIXED IT ... turns out after u extract it u gotta remove it from the extracted folder too im dumb and put that file by itself in the mod loader folder... uuuugh why so complicated... ps im loaded this and its only working on the 5.7 version not the 6 so that might be another issue relating to your original comment
It really speaks wonders to Signalis's quality that it can be played in different camera perspectives and still function as a tried and true survival horror. I especially love the 3rd person one, reminds me of dead space.
As i was playing, i kept thinking their 1st person sections look so good that Rose-Engine's whole next game could be made in that perspective. Maybe this will help convince them. Now fingers crossed they'll get to make more.

While I love the top-down perspective in this game, all the first-person moments kept having me say in my head, "man do I wish they just made this game first-person!" Really glad to see Signalis is getting the attention it rightfully deserves, every new video I find or it's tracks being played as background music in none signalis videos just fills me with joy.

Oh wow. I had a suspicion that everything in the game was in fact 3D because of how the dynamic lights cast accurate shadows but seeing it in this perspective is something else. Although it might also be a cool idea to keep the top down isometric view but tweak the camera just slightly to give the locations more depth and perspective. And maybe to apply a bit motion and slight rotation as the character moves from one side of the location to the next. It's a shame that even when all of this is 3D the devs didn't include any fixed cinematic style camera sections to really appreciate these assets.

This is great! Signalis is my favourite horror game alongside RE2 remake, and i'm planning on replaying this game in the future. I especially loved the 11:24 part. Hearing the intense music, knowing there are enemies behind you, but not knowing how close they are is very panic inducing. 3rd person mode feels like a new difficulty setting. Some say Dead Space, but the controls give me more of a Resident Evil 4 feel. If you manage to implement mouse controls, put a limit on how fast you can turn or something. (Or if you plan to add a quick-180-turn, give it a ~2-3 second delay before you can shoot.) I already like what you've done, and i know you can make this mod even better. Keep us updated on any improvements, and take all the vacation time you need. Liked and subscribed!
This looks really cool, I hope you have success in your projects man, you really deserve it. I'll definelly play the game again with this mod in the future. And something that would be cool (if possible) in future updates, you could reposition the door and collectable markers to be viewed better in the camera of the mod.
It's pretty awesome and not easy, I can understand that it's just a mod, but to me and the game, the default camera just gives more immersion. In some situations, it might not be totally appropriate.

Holyshit, this is the perfect mod, please give it some love and a bit more few updates so later it can be able to insta-switch from 3rd to firstperson, and have a lil overhaul of the camera witch and camera movements, it would be great, and what could be a cherry on the top, would be to manage to have the screen interactions placed themselves throughout the levels correctly so you can see them ! and it would be perfect !

i feel like you should update the over the shoulder mod to make it look like RE4 once you start aiming instead of the side of the arm angle everyone pretty much adopted instead. would be super cool!

First check that you have the correct version of Melonloader, this is not the newest one but is 0.5.7. If you do have the right version and its giving this issue it means that during install Melonloader didnt download properly. To debug that try uninstalling Melonloader using their installer, and reinstalling. If that doesnt work i have my discord linked in the description of this video :D and ill see what i can do

No this is a bug with my mod XD, to fix it you can use debug /ausruinen to activate (just type this, i am aware nothing pops up, and hit enter, if it doesnt work the first time try again) then use /panzer twice and it should fix the problem!
Please help me, the camera modes are working, but WASD is all wrong, I can't move properly and I haven't read anything about this at all. Here you mentioned the mod enables "tank mode" to make controlling the character easy, so I believe that's what's missing, somehow. The mouse does aim left and right, but it's inverted, no big deal though.
The best way to make it more optimal is switching to tank as then the movement will feel more in line with what you expect, there was an experimental camera addition but it wasnt fully optimal so

For me i've always felt the opposite that she moves too slow. But you can change her speed (and everythings speed) using the TS debug command.
