“Suck it up” Dr. Phil expecting some form of a positive sentiment:
👁👄👁
😂😂
That was the most revealing thing about the whole talk. That’s probably what his parents say to him. He is clearly emotionally neglected.
Lol
That face killed me 😂😂😂 I just burst out laughing
That was great. 🤣🤣🤣
It’s still unfathomable that this woman would bother her son about the importance of going to school *on the same day* that he comes home after finding out his friend committed suicide. (Found this out in the main video about this)
It's probably because he's missed so many days that he can't miss anymore. I know public schools are strict about absences these days, a lot more so than they were 10+ years ago.
Jennifer Dugas yes, and it’s ridiculous that public schools put that before students mental health, and it pisses me off that that schools get involved with students personal lives and decisions.
CrossOnyx its actually not really the schools fault, they have to because they’re told to do that by the system. If your under 16 you HAVE to go to school or your parents get taken to court and a whole lot of bs happens
dayna timm but they have no place in students personal lives. Our education system sucks.
@@crossonyx8463 Yes, sometimes it's just too much. Like I have a teenage son that suffers from migraines. Well I don't want to send him to school with a terrible headache that literally makes him nauseated, nor do I feel the need to bring him to the doctor for something they can't really do anything about. So he gets unexcused absences and then I start getting threatening letters from the school board. If you have five unexcused absences in a semester you're considered habitually absent. It's like they try to make you feel like a bad parent when really I'm just thinking of my child and his well being.
Only kid I've ever seen that's been cool with going to the ranch
bzleo because it’s an incredible opportunity to help himself
Because dr Phil made it sound like it's a vacation. If only he knew how the ranch punishes kids who dont listen...I'm sure he would have said no lol
Jessica Vega sounds like you need to go to the ranch too.
@@ifeellikeyeezus8525 lol I am no where near a child. But thanks. I know I look young! 😉
bzleo he’s starving for guidance and attention from a father figure too. Sad kid.
That boy was leaning in hearing every word that Dr. Phil had to say. He’s a good kid who wants change. Brought tears to my eyes how focused he was on Dr. Phil‘s words. How excepting me was to whatever treatment he needed to be better. Dang it I love Dr. Phil. Almost as much as Meghan trainer lol
I know, he seems like such a sweet guy
I know him personally, hes a very nice kid just has some deep emotional pain. I hope he gets the help he needs and finds his peace
Tell him I find him cute
@@MA-zz8fs OoF
Thanks girl 😭❤️
Will keep him in prayers. May God heal him and give him power to love himself.
he seems like such a genuine and nice person. I’m glad someone who knows him personally was able to say it. Cause I don’t think it’s fair for his pain to be broadcasted like this on tv :(
Everyone jokes about the ranch but the ranch seems fun
Edit: NO. Please watch Danielle Bergoli's video about the ranch.
When you've lived on a farm your whole life, that ranch sounds terrible 😂😂
My friend was just like this kid in high school, his parents could afford to send him to the ranch, it’s very expensive, and he came back a completely different person. Though he does feel like he has a chip on his shoulder because he went there
Krähe ' I would absolutely be happier there
Neverland ranch sounded fun too..
From someone who has been to a similar center, it is definitely not fun. Especially when you’re there for months. You have 0 rights or freedoms, even if it helps you in the end. It actually makes me cringe to see someone call if ‘fun’. You truly have no idea
he doesn’t need “the ranch” he needs a therapist, he just needs to talk about how he feels with someone who will understand because he obviously isn’t getting that at home
He will get all that at the ranch.
abbie t. Send him to the ranch
Send him to the ranch
Yeah the ranch is a good thin
Mmm ranch

He didn’t just send him to the ranch, he gave him the opportunity to go to the ranch.

Send em to the rAnCH
He 18 he can’t make him he can let him
It was Phil’s “gift” to him🤮
This freakin Guy yes a gift. Tens of thousands of dollars of professional treatment. That’s an incredible opportunity
Daniella Kaplan I thought he was 17?
All moms should hear this advice: Often time people with mental problems just needed to be heard. Just listen
He's a polite young man with a good head on his shoulders. I hope he finds his inner peace of mind. I do think he deserves to know his biological fathers name though, he's not going to find that peace until he knows who his biological father is, I think it's always wrong to withhold that information, he seems a mature lad I'm sure he could handle it besides theres a thing about people who physicaly assault children, they're weak creatures of habit who normally are scared of the child they abused by the time they hit puberty because they know that child they felt they could harm could kick their butt by that point, now he's a young man his adopted parents have done a good job raising him with love, but he is that a "young adult" that's still an adult I wonder if the parents are more scared of his biological father personaly more than they are about him knowing the truth. It's not fair on him, a young mind is insecure, it tends to assume the worst and he's probably sharing the same fear that I had, that I'm a product of my father and that means that I'll turn out like my father, luckily I got back in touch with my father when I was 18 and I'm proud to know I am nothing like my father, that's what this lad needs and it's cruel to deny him that
Yugen Heorte I totally agree. Honesty and openness about the situation is the key to him having a good life. He will eventually try to do this without the adopted parents I would imagine. It’s a piece of his puzzle he needs to find. He is very mature and can make an informed choice then with their help. He will always be wondering. They shouldn’t withhold. Maybe they can’t for legal reasons though.
deep
Yugen Heorte I don’t agree. The child will often find the abuser and then the abuse occurs again....sometimes resulting in death. He was removed for his protection. The protection needs to stay in place.
I think it is rational of his parents to not give him his fathers name when he is already floundering emotionally. He has his whole life to deal with the rejection that is inevitable
CCH Delirium I agree. He is truly vulnerable and would be a moth attracted to the flame and the flame will hurt him.....again...this time maybe fatally.
His eyes makes me so sad. I wish him all the best and hope his eyes will sparkle again some day. Everything can be OK again if you don't give up. That's my own experience 💕
That's nice of you to say I wish someone could say something like that to me and how I feel. But I constantly get told to tell that to myself as I am the only person who can tell that to me.
thewewguy8t88 Keep telling yourself that every Person is something special. You dont Need someone else to succeed in life!
@@thewewguy8t88 same , sorta relatable but thts "adulting" right?
He is a straight white male. He needs to eat a gun.
silverpairaducks incorrect
I hope he truly finds himself there. He seems like a reasonable and nice person beneath all that anger
in a previous video he talked about his friend committing suicide and ptsd from an abusive birth father
Yo... he’s just anxious and self-medicating. Mom needed to be a better listener. Should’ve taken him to see a professional long ago. Literally that’s all it took to solve the problem. He’s not a sociopath. He’s frustrated because he has known for a long time something inside was wrong and his mother wasn’t willing to look beyond that temper spell.
She is also technically his grandmother so there is a large generational gap
He listens very carefully because nobody listened to him and he knows how important that is. This kid gonna be a good father someday
Send me to the ranch.. i wanna reset and ride pretty horsies
Elizabeth Crossley same I think we all need this
Yes so beautiful too
Read some of the stories from people who have (Supposedly) been there... It seems like a horror story, tbh.
MsRadicalReviews That’s what I’m wondering. I have no idea about that particular place but most of those places are and the kids grow up resenting their parents.
@@MsRadicalReviews why's that?
You all just witnessed history. The first voluntary ranch sentence!
😂😂😂😂
He's a good kid. He deserves a good help, a good friend, someone who listens to his problems. Poor guy. I felt bad for him.
This is why I love Dr Phil. He said exactly what he needed to in order to make that kid feel heard, and like people understood instead of judging and talking over him. Bravo
When dr.phil said “there’s a place....”😂 here we go again.
He is a kind, polite and loving man. Hope he is ok
1:25 That's so true. Whenever we start to doubt ourselves, we really should talk to ourselves as though we were talking to our best friend.
Yeah works until you tell that to somebody who’s never had friends... then they feel even worse
Nobody:
Dr Phil: Turnabout ranch.
😂😂😂😂 cures everyone
i'm deddd
Nobody:
Me: K SWISS OMG
Huh
It's just somewhere that's not his parents and that's honestly good enough.
OMG YES THE RANCH HAS RETURNED!!!!!!!!
😂😂😂
Emese Molnar-Kovacs whats the ranch
Turnabout Ranch. One of the places mentioned.
Then there's Wyngate Wilderness Therapy.
Or even Center for Discovery.
(But this kid is not like the other teens I've seen... he's not completely outta control like them. He's more emotionally distressed than physically.)
I love how e spoke to him and not at him. Came at him in the right way. Let him know he wasn't sending him away but helping him. Love this!
They bring a lot of brats on here but this is a good kid and I hope he finds himself and can heal.
Dr Phil, I would love to see follow ups to some of these kids that went to the ranch. I think it mostly changed their lives too!
Spend 2 seconds looking.
Sounds like he'll be running the Ranch someday.
Tony Briggs I’ve never found them - what do you search for.,?
@@719andheartbreaks8 I did.
He is going to make it, I know, And will be an incredible wonderful adult when he finds his path.
I have panic disorder with symptoms of depression and Doctor Phil explains how people having these problems feel brilliantly, to both the son and the mother. There aren’t many people who understand this as he does here.
Pennywise’s Cult wait wut? Panic disorder and depression “feels brilliantly”??
@@ianmcnab8751 lol read it again
Mango0 lmao you could have atleast tried to explain it to me,... no worries tho I realize now. “He explains it brilliantly.” Not “he explains that it feels brilliantly.”
This poor dude is so riddled with anxiety, he is polite natured and wants to be better but anger responses can be blinding. I hope he finds himself 💚
That was wonderful. Reset. We all deserve a reset. Kids need to know they have that option.
YES!
P P i agree with you 100%
He seems like a nice kid to me who's just felt too much hurt.
I always like when Dr. Phil sends someone to the ranch and they actually act calm and polite like this guy did. Good for him
Wow Phil pitched the ranch well here. My first reaction was "not the ranch 👀" now I kinda wanna go myself. I want to get my life back on track and find my leadership 😂

No. The kid was already reflective on his actions.
Dr Phil actually got through to him mum.
He's actually chill wow. The mom just needs to listen more.
Dr. Phil: There’s a place that I think you deserve...
Me: TO THE RANCH
😂😂😂
He needed to be understood I wish him the best, he is a handsome guy young, he has a bright future ahead of him
I wish him the best! I understand about PTSD and being around others that don't understand it. He seems like a good kid, and I think his mom doesn't give him enough credit or allow him to grow and start making his own decisions. I am thrilled he chose to go and I feel that with therapy and at being 17 years old, he is mature enough to know who his real father is. If they felt like he was ready to know that he was adopted and that his bio father abused him when he was a baby, then why not tell him everything at that point. I hope he is doing well, he deserves to not live in fear, anger, and hurt. I don't want him to grow up with depression and anxiety as a result from that. I hope the ranch helps him!
anyone else realize how good of a kid you are watching these, like my parents think I’M a handful but dang watching these..

Wow how quickly he took the help was amazing!!!! That what he needed and wanted,,,direction and stability!❤🙏
This is one of the more wholesome episodes I’ve seen on Dr. Phil. Good for that young man.
The fact is he is a really nice guy, but he is ‘stuck’ in his situation. He had no way of getting out and could only pursue this path and keep on persisting until the end. It seems to me his emotions where stuck within himself and he had nobody loving to talk to and could only do what he did as a way to hate the world. But when he got the opportunity from Dr. Phil I’m pretty sure he was excited, because it was finally a way to get out of the place he was in. Deep in his heart he must’ve wanted this but it was too hard to tell anyone and it’s too hard for him to change so suddenly. We thank Dr. Phil for giving this man a chance to get his life back on track!
Wow, the first person I’ve ever seen jump at the opportunity to go to the ranch. He really wants help that bad🥺
Why has the ranch become a meme omg. I'm dying when he said turnabout ranch lolol
I absolutely love the way Dr. Phil presented the Turnabout Ranch to him. It sounded SO positive!!!!
Lmaoo he’s always sending them to the ranch

The parents are emotionally neglectful.
bro he's such a sweet kid and you can tell that, he's just so traumatized. the poor thing. I've felt that way and in the end it takes a lot of hard work to crawl out of the hole and bro... bro i am proud of him.
I watch these Dr. Phil clips a lot, and this one has definitely moved me. This young man has such a great head on his shoulders yet such an exhausted soul right now in his life. Anyone can see that looking into his eyes. Which is why I think he was so willing and accepting the opportunity to go to the Ranch. He needs and deserves a break away from the environment where all his frustrations and misunderstandings have been occurring. At still such a young age, he’s already been fighting through life to be heard, to express how hurt he’s felt. And now finally someone has listened to him and is willing to help him get back on track to prosper and become the brilliant young man we all know he’s very well capable of doing for himself. I would love to see a recap, or return of him once he’s finished his time at the Ranch. I empathize so much with this young man, I truly wish him the best.
This is why I love Dr Phil so much. He’s so great at getting on any kind of persons level and truly giving them the respect of being heard and understood.
I want to see that boy’s eyes sparkle, he’s so sad! I hope he finds his true self at the ranch 🤞🏻🤞🏻
Send em to the RANCH
That was so nicely said. Every and each word.
I love everything Dr Phil said. It was well said and very very true. I hope he does find peace of mind. Everyone deserves that.
Off to the ranch you go.
Elaine Alexander suck it up
Great that he's given a second chance. He really does deserve it. Deeply inside, he's a good and really sane person. Unfortunately his mom wasn't as supportive. Hope he improves
Aw I hope the pieces are coming together for him to some extent, and he finds relief
Really rooting for this kid
This is how it's done. Why I love Dr. Phil. I will be praying this turns out positive for the family for the long run.
I wish someone had extended a helping hand like that to me when I was that kid's age.
Old too soon smart too late.
I teared up watching this young man take in everything Dr. Phil had to say, and listened with both his ears and his eyes, and knew what he needed to do in order to get his life back on track. 😢 He will get through all of this, and I wish I could see him succeed!
Peoples with same problem of life would really thankful to Dr. Phil
He reminds me of myself as a teenager. Acting not out of entitlement or selfishness, but out of frustration, being misunderstood, and wanting to be heard.
