I love Tiny Epic Dungeons! I promise I don't do this for every game play on the Internet. You just happened to pick two games in a row that I have spent an inordinate amount of time learning and hanging around the BGG boards for. My only real note is something that will help you for all your future playthrough: The timing of the free action that you played for your first move to reveal all adjacent rooms: You pay the torch first. Moving the torch lands on activate all enemies. *There are no enemies on the board* Nothing happens! Then you reveal the rooms and place any revealed goblins/minions. This removes the possibility of getting destroyed on your first turn! Best of luck on future plays!
At the risk of sounding like an enormous fangirl, OMG THAT AMAZING, I'M STOKED! Honestly, I really wondered how playing different games would affect my channel, since I accidentally played "too much" (is there such a thing (no)) Final Girl on the channel to begin with. So glad to see you! What incredible luck... That's great to know about the Torch, thanks... /again/... ;) !

During the first turn of Uliessa, you used her Spell (1 Heroic action) and got a second Heroic action with it. But after that you moved and rulebook says that you can't after doing an Heroic action (in the move section, p. 7: performing an heroic action will end your movement).
Did I read that right?
It's been a long time since I've played, iirc it is "Move then Heroic Action (ending Move when you stop to do the thing even if you have Move left over)" OR "Heroic Action then Move". I may have messed it up in a weird case where I gained another action.

During your turn you may Move and then perform a Heroic Action, or you may perform a Heroic Action and then Move. However, unlike with Free Actions, you cannot Move, Perform a Heroic action, and then continue Moving, because a Heroic Action ends your current movement.

I prefer to play with three heroes. Two to explore the dungeon and deal with the minions, and one on goblin control.
I like the sound of that. It sounds like it would "feel better".
I have since played two more times to familiarize myself with the rules a little more and understand the strategy, as my last two games ended the same way - I ran out of time because I had a heck of a time finding the Minions and I was so busy (overwhelmed, even) messing with goblins. It never felt like I was doing anything except walking blindly into Traps and Goblin spawns.
That said, while all three of my plays have ended in loss, it's tons of fun!
@@CeePhour While you are working on strategy, one character I strongly recommend is Clotho who's inherent ability is an AOE attack. She can take care of multiple Goblins in a single action. If you use her first, you can reveal every room surrounding you and kill every goblin immediately. Then you can have more time exploring and looking for those minions.
Yes AOE attacks are critical. Or at least they will make the win potential easier
Robe is OP you can teleport anywhere on the map it’s awesome for your 1 movement characters
Ooh, you could have moved one space, used your 4 focus to activate the killing Goblin room as a free action to kill a Goblin on the map AND drawn a spell for the Goblin kill rather than just researching. To be fair though, there is a lot to keep track of and have to think about your video too...
I should title this channel "Least Optimal Moves" with the way I play :) But you're right, I have found that I play differently in a setting with no "pressure". I can sit there and work out a decent turn in Mage Knight that takes 45 minutes, which wouldn't make for a watchable video :) Mark my words... one day! :P
