- Probably the best-shaped wave in the Palos Verdes area, Haggerty's takes all north and west swells from 3 to 15 feet and grooms them into a classic left point/reef with three different takeoff zones.

You know the swells are huge when Haggerty's breaks. Last surfed 1964, great memories!

Must be high tide and it appears that the boil is gone. I remember taking off behind the boil and if the tide was low enough there was an old piling or rock sticking out.
It because a culture and a lifestyle when you hear the word lol Crowded and Traffic many times daily. Cool vid!!

Highly recommend you come down and surf this spot in Palos Verdes area. This is a good place to learn to surf as well. Great for folks that live anywhere in Southern California.

Not that big of a crowd for Haggs. Place is usually like a bag of fleas.

i grew up there, before leashes, a full on local. its fun when its good, but mostly mushy and insanely crowded with a bunch of people with shitty attitudes.
