Since it is quite polished in this state we now have, I wish so much for more DLCs. I know CD Project already announced it will be the last DLC for Cyberpunk 2077, but it would be so neat. As long as I would make it with the high quality as they achieved it with Phantom Liberty.

@@itsgonnabeokay9341 by choice. Devs are trying to show their game with cinematic trailers. Go look every mobile cinematic trailer. They dont wanna show their scummy game so they come up with realistic trailers. Hell blizzard is doing it for decades
Certainly is one of the most credible mocap CGi with the least uncanny valley vibes ever. A very convincing virtual actor performance.
The build planner is wildy different, from what I see it will change gameplay a lot, at least for combat builds. Hacking just seems to lean even harder into the fantasy of walking slow-mo through a room and everyone around you dying without lifting a finger.
I put 200 hours into this game at release and enjoyed it (flaws and all). I am looking forward to putting in a whole new run starting as soon as 2.0 drops on the 21st. Also loving the music and I want to hear more of it!

Easter Egg at 7:14 is 007 (James Bond, which is rumored that he’ll be played by Idris in next movie) and DJ as Idris is a DJ, he has few tracks in Phantom Liberty as well.
I'm optimistic about this expansion / soft reboot.
I don't think it's a soft reboot, as the expansion also adds an ending to the game

@@godofsin4604 It is a soft reboot though. The whole base game has the skills redone. Armor etc is all tied to cyberware now so you wear stuff for fashion not stats. Also way more cyberware options.
@@V3x0r Thats not what a reboot is. Reboot usually implies the canon is redone in some way and is related to the story not the gameplay aspects.

Very relatable about the feeling down several days after finishing the game. I don't remember a game having that sort of impact on me before, maybe FF7 when I was younger (long time ago). Maybe completing the Mass Effect trilogy.

Anyone know what that banging track is at 37:37? It's not part of the CP 2077 PL score tracks, as I listened to them all and it doesn't match any of the tracks.
It'll likely be on Phantom Liberty's full in game soundtrack. There is going to be a lot of new music in the game that isn't on that 13 track album they just released

even with all the bugs and problems cyberpunk was in my top 5 games, now after all those fixes it looks to be number 1, but damn it's a close one, witcher 3, elden ring and baldur's gate 3 are definitely worthy competitors
and there will always be a special place in my heart for xcom and dungeon keeper

Great NCWire ep but I am very disappointed that we only get a week with 2.0 before the expac. I wanted to start a new playthrough and have enough time to get through at least the majority of the base game before the expac launches. Now I’ll probably be a week behind most and have to avoid spoilers which are going to flood the net. Other than that I am very hyped as I have waited 3 years for CDPR to finish the game at least the base game. Im sure there will still be some bugs here and there but I didnt have to many issues with the launch version of the game so I think at least Ill be fine. Might have to upgrade to a 40series gfx card before the expac though 😅

So... we finally can cure V from the brainstorm and/ or save Johnny too? Like.. you do extra effort quests to make it possible. Heck, use dna from Johnny and clone a new body for him to transfer his personality, while also/ either fix V brain somehow or find, clone anew but exactly same body for Vs personality to transfer into! This should take work but no lame " catches " like: " Oh sure you can save both you and Silverhand but we will hinder a satisfying ending with your girl/ boyfriend, hah! " To have your preffered path through the game AND get the ending with having you, life partner AND Silverhand + other friends should take some work to compensate, just not braindead desicion ones

@@flipntap09 that is bs. the game was absolutely fine on pc on launch. the story and all the sidecontent was amazing, far above the average, ranking amonst witcher 3's quality. This is just finetuning. The people disappointed were some delusional andies thinking they were getting GTA6.
In hindsight CP2077 has slowly crept up my list of favorite games of all time. The stories it told from the side quests to the main story to the moments a long the way pop into my head all the time 3 years later. The game wasn’t as much about my V but of cyberpunk stories and Johnny’s story and this threw me for loop when the game came out. Zoomed way out I see what CDPR was going for and even if it wasn’t exactly what I expected I think overall it is a landmark game even though it fell short at launch.
In no way is Cyberpunk a 'landmark' game. That's not even subjective lad. It's not got the best open world, the narrative is clichéd and generic, the side quests don't impact the game world and there are no RP elements.

@@mdc3227 Yes it is pretty subjective, there is no game which can be rated objectivley, many say Skyrim is a landmark, many say Skyrim is trash because of poor Story telling and not that good of a combat system.

when i played cyberpunk back when it released i still thought of the game as a 8/10 and i am talking pc version
never forget the console version that was an utter nightmare
the early game quest were pretty generic but the sidequests that came later in the game were very good imo

i'm not super intrested in this dlc why it takes place in the middle of the story i wish they had the dlc in the end depending on your ending of the game i will prob play the dlc 2024 or 2025 sometime when feel like it
trailer looks cool but i only watch you play the first game, i never played it msyelf as open world part of game seemed to suck, cops seemed to suck, etc. seems like only good thing about cyberpunk is the story. Here is to hoping by some miracle they actually made the open world better, if so I may pick this up finally as I do have a new gaming rig that can play it.
So is Maxtac being added for free into the base game or is it part of the expansion? It was supposed to be in the game from the start and it would be kinda lame if they are trying to sell it as something new.

Only things that are dlc exclusive is a bunch of new equipment (I think they said over 100 new items), the phantom liberty quests and characters, the new Dogtown zone, vehicle missions drops and missile launchers, the relic skills, and level cap raised to 60.

When I see this trailer and the state of cyberpunk these days it's seems a bit of a shame they are retiring the engine....
It will be quite a long time before I download 2.0 and Phantom Liberty. I still have to explore more of Night City and upgrade my PC to handle PL.
the requirements didn't change at all and the performance got crazy good with 1.5 and 1.6 on old systems and I wouldn't be too shocked, if 2.0 sports even more performance.

Has Liberty got anything to do with the Mayor and his wife story. I found that way more interesting than the main story.
Doubt it, may have some side quest that relates to the Mr. Blue Eyes sub story, but this technically all takes place before the final mission.
