I cannot recommend this game enough, I've so far dropped 600hrs into it. At times this game even makes you feel for the choices you make. No spoilers but that dlc has some helluva choices in it.
Thank you for the reaction and breakdown, seeing this I cannot wait for the live action Cyberpunk series that they're working on. Night City and Cyberpunk has so much lore and inspiration to take from, even just looking at the anime, it's clear there's a lot possible with this!
I disagree with you about the facial animation. I think the WOW short was overacted a bit, and for some reason that usually gets more recognition (same for live-action, like the Oscars, movies like Marriage Story getting a lot of recognition for scream-acting rather than more subtle examples)... The facial animation here is more subtle and relatable for me. I think this sets a higher standard for believable acting than the WOW trailer. To each their own though.
Exactly, rewind the video to when Reed says that So Mi was the one who told him about the taco stand. Look at the subtle eye movement and nystagmus, it's absolutely incredible.
Playing this game after years of playing the RPG Cyberpunk 2020 is a dream came true for me. Bought in pre-order in 2020, it was so great, but when 2.0 came, it reached another level in my heart, and PL achieved my attempts. Now, i can only waiting for the next levels : Films, Series and Cyberpunk "II" in the next years !
This cinematic trailer was amazing. To create a full feature length film rendered in this medium would be very expensive indeed, but thankfully, they are working on a live action Cyberpunk 2077 project. 😁
They're working on so many videogame adaptions right now, I've lost track :D Apparently, executives have finally understood what they've been missing out on for a decade :P
I have played Cyberpunk on release and haven't had even a fraction of problems people had with bugs and stuff. That said, first act was a bit underwhelming. That's due to the fact that it had the most content cut out from it. Other then that, solid story where you damned if you do and you damned if you don't aka there is no obviously good choice. Phantom Liberty added another path to the same-ish ending. Different in quality then the base game on release. But the base game with 2.0 improvements also grew in quality. If you have the hardware to support latest ray tracing features the gameplay looks absolutely stunning btw. Facial animations not so much, yet it doesn't interfere with overall experience. Overall it's an amazing experience, especially now. I would like to see your opinion on the story and how it's conveyed using forced first person perspective.
The beauty about this critique is that Chris does not know that this in basically "in game" rendered footage. The visuals that you see in this trailer are the exact same visuals that you would see in-game (if you have the specs for it). So the facial animations are all done by the game engine itself, where Blizzard renders their scenes for cinematic effect, in a totally different software.
This is not in-game at all. I don't know where you got that idea from. None of these assets are in-game assets, and it was rendered using an offline renderer.
Actually I would be curious to see your reaction to the Phantom Liberty music video for the song of the same name by Dawid Podsiadło and P.T. Adamczyk. As for the game, I cannot recommend it enough. Had so much fun with my recent 2.0 playthrough and CDPR is about to release another patch 2.1 to add a few more fan requested features like the metro you see in this trailer.
This performance is supposed to be subdued because he is a spy. It is also the same with So MI, her expressions don't match her actions because she is desperately trying to hold it all in.
One thing I like about this trailer is the fact that it came out around when the Wagner Group's Prigozhin and others were on a plane that got taken down probably by Putin... The timing there just felt very fitting...
As far as the facial animation goes, I think it has to do with the characters talking via implants, not earpieces. They're half thinking the messages to each other.
Nah. wow was great but it was gamish and kinda caricatured where as this was done like a modern bond movie where the main protagonists are understated and realistic rather than overwrought.
I think its actually hilarious that you refer to yourself as a "filmmaker" lmao. You make glorified youtube videos with effects that are worse than even CW cgi. You make videos, not films.
You don't know his portfolio, only what's on his youtube. And second, it doesn't matter how long a video is or what's the cgi budget it can still be classified as a film and if you don't like it, then how about you leave???

Couldn't agree more!

They made a spy movie for game trailer. Now I want movie more than game
I think the facial animations are fantastic. I’ve rarely seen anything this good, especially for a game

@@R4Y2k So true. 😋 As long as they have good writers, adaptations can be so lovely. 😁
Please do play the game at one point. Phantom Liberty is by far the greatest comeback expansion in existence.
CD project Red makes the best trailers in games

Your criticism is funny because this was mo-capped and War Within was completely CGI.
