This was my favourite of the songs when watching live the flames blasting heat across you and everyone singing it together is such an fun experience

Ghost has a thing for being incredibly catchy, if yall ever decide to revisit them again, I'd recommend Square Hammer, that song is the essence of catchy

Ghost has a really great sense of humor in a lot of their songs, interviews, and stage presence. It’s all very campy, and I love it. Great video as always guys 🤘
When the vocalist was asking if our taints were tickled after a song, that's when I knew they were very tongue in cheek, and I loved it.

Yeah, just watched their latest MetallicA reaction on Sanitarium and I was kinda wondering if they ever did Ghost. Surprised that He Is was not among their reactions, they'd love it to bits. They should defo react to He Is, it is such a catchy song, I just wished it was their first Ghost vid to see their amazement.
Enjoyed this video. I liked how you guys talked about their backstory a bit before reacting. Cheers from a Ghost fan. :)
Sweden has so many good bands. Bands with new albums out this year: Soilwork, Corroded, Evergrey, Arch Enemy, Candlemass, In Flames, Backyard Babies, and Amon Amarth. Many more coming including one of my favorites Sabaton.
Always been a hot bed of hard rock and metal.

I saw Sabaton open for Nightwish back in 2015, and really enjoyed them. Great sense of humor about themselves.

Ghosts newest single "Dance Macabre" is extremely catchy and poppy
It's so damn catchy! My wife hates Ghost but if I just sing the first 3 words of that chorus, she'll have it stuck in her head all day.

@@ZeeboonInc I'd like to see them get into some synth wave/ pop type stuff like Carpenter Brut, Gunship, The Midnight, Lazerhawk, etc...so many great songs out there and it's a genre they haven't reacted to yet.

It took 30yrs for Alice Cooper to be accepted but it took Ghost 3yrs. Love Ghost. Tobias is a genius.
Rod Boudreau huh? AC was one of the biggest rock bands in the US from 1971-1973. Then when Cooper went solo he had a pretty successful solo career for a few years with a string of (frankly sappy) ballads (You and I, Only Women Bleed, etc) not to mention appearing on The Muppets and Hollywood Squares (not his proudest moment. Ha!) around the same time. No to also mention his comeback around the late 80s/early 90 which resulted in more hit records and apperances in Wayne's World etc. In other words, not sure why you'd imply ol' AC needed 30 years to get "accepted". If anything by his 30th year he was way past his "popular" prime.
(For the record, don't take this response too serious; I'm not some raving, humourless fan but I am an AC fan and felt you saying it took him "30 years" (!) to accepted was a bit off the mark and had to add my two pesos)
Dude, Alice Cooper was played on mainstream radio in his prime! He was on the Muppet Show!

I love Ghost. And the mini videos released for announcements are so hilariously good. Definitely doom metal, not so much death.
I saw Ghost live last december when they played in Stockholm on their latest tour, This song was one of the highlights of the night, just hearing the 14k strong crowd chanting along was amazing!
Also, I high highly recommend doing either Con Clavi Con Dio or Ritual! Both are early songs from Ghost, and excellent songs!

Got into Ghost after your review of Cirice. I was blown away so much more than you guys were. Since then I have bought all their albums and went to their concert. It's funny the power of reaction channels have even if the reactions aren't overly positive
You gotta give props to Andy Wallace for the mix of this album. His drum sound with the right amount of compression sounds wicked. :)
Generally Awesome I have to disagree. The mixes are mostly wonderful on the majority of Ghost albums. However I think your gripe may be the mastering that is enclosed. Bad mastering destroys a good mix.
Now I will say outright that the mastering on Ghost CDS is absolutely garbage. Maybe that’s where we both have the problem. ;)
"Year Zero" is just a place in an ongoing story they were telling over their first 3 albums. Year Zero is the end of the world when the Anti Christ has won and is ascending the throne of man on Earth. It's just following the story of the Anti Christ that Ghost established on their first album with 'Ritual'; which was his conception. 'Genesis' was his birth. 'Year Zero' is his victory over man before God ultimately returns to destroy him and bring Judgement to Earth in the song 'Bible' on the next album. It's just a song charting his life's mission amongst humanity before God destroys him in the end.

The burger was from Kuma's Korner which is a heavy metal themed restaurant and bar in Chicago. When you all are here go check it out. They have a Slayer,Metallica and Iron Maiden burgers.
As someone who goes their regularly, this is the 2nd best burger I've had in the city!

I fell in love with Ghost’s bassist when I heard their song “Majesty.” You can come on stage wearing whatever you want and singing whatever you want if you have a badass band to sell it.

Edit: Tobias said in an interview (maskless) that he was a huge fan of black metal growing up, as well as the whole mystique of Satan in society. He isn't a Satanist, or religious, but he digs the vibe. He's always wore upside down crosses and pentagrams because it's just badass. I'm the same way, haha.
Year Zero is great. Square Hammer is my favorite of theirs, though, and probably their best! Although, I do have to say that Ghost's first album had much more of the kind of cheesy 70's-inspired music and story themes I really love this band for. I'd love to see you guys do either Square Hammer or Ritual.

Those names in the beginning are all different names of "the devil" in different cultures. Belial, Behemoth, Beezlebub. Asmodeus, Satanas, Lucifer.
Also, you are correct about the "welcoming of Year Zero". The first album, Opus Eponymous, is more about the existence of the devil. The second album (Year Zero is from this album), Infestissumam, is about the rise of the devil. The third album, (the other song you did, Cirice, is from this album) is about the devil being in command and ruling the world we live in.
If you want a really good and solid album play through, give Meliora a go. Such an amazing album, there are ONLY good songs on it.
Although some are separate entities altogether, at one point or another though they all meant "devil".
Only Satanas and Lucifer are names for the devil. All of the others are other demons.

Glad to see ghost return to the channel. Ghost music is impossibly catchy, even if you aren’t necessarily into the lyrical motifs. This is the song that got me hooked on them. If you guys ever do more ghost (which you should), their most accessible and arguably popular song is Square Hammer. I think you would both dig it.

I know it may be random but I've noticed i only ever get the part 2 notification and never the first.
Likely has more to do with how they upload. Usually it's back to back, so you see the second because it's the most recent.

I first learned about Ghost when I saw an advertisement for RockLaHoma which was held in Oklahoma, loved them ever since.
This is actually part of the best album they ever did. Listen to the whole album. It will change you.

They have videos here on YT ! With Papa, and yelling a story behind Ghost. They are brilliant! Their Musicianship is Amazing! This is my go to music and has been for a good while! Of course I raised my kids on Slayer, Metallica, and all kids of metal. My oldest son's 1st concert was Ted Nugent and KISS!
The performance they give for this song is goddamn intense...
And while Ghost might actually be satanists, they definitely aren't devil worshippers, that whole shtick is just for a good show.
In the Little Punks video interview, one of the band members responds to the question if they believe in God and Lucifer and he said that they are atheists, but it would be awesome if they were real.
