wnba ? us blacks dont support anything black lmao white people are the biggest hiphop fans, they dont bootleg albums they pay for them, growing up in the hood we got all the albums bootleg but the white kids at school had the real version, the exscuse " we cant afford it " yet we got the latest jordans that cost more than any rap album out at that time.. our people or my so called people are hypocrites but this dont take white people off the hook either, it dont make white people "better" or more "unified" it just means white people support black people more than black people and black people support white idealism, history, culture, science, fashion etc etc more than black .. after moving from a predominately black neighborhood and now living in a 88 percent all white town me and my kids life is more positive, no trouble, my daughter is not getting bullied by black boys.. no comment can change the facts of the reality i live everyday, these people take me in the community as if im one of them and thats never happened in my community, only time it came close was when i joined a gang when i was 16-19.. once i left the gang i was a "square" mostly by black women, the brothers supported me alittle more.. black women hate disciplined righteous black men who put spirituality and holistic health first.. even when i first turned 30 i was still a square and boring for not drinking, not smoking, not going to clubs and being a family man.. that is not supported by blacks and im not the only one saying it.. its the norm in america to hear a black man say this but black people keep pretending and deflecting.. just like white people do when a white person kills a black person for race related hatred.. they deflect and pretend.. idk how everyone cant get along, everyone is equally trash as a human race.. we should best friends by that metric

I have not heard anyone using CC’s name to promote any of those things. The only people I have heard talking about race are black. It is see refreshing to see a celebrity that is apolitical, doesn't say shit that isn't about basketball. Athletes and celebrities are not meant to be activists! Why do they all feel they have to be woke and vocal?! In fact that is one of the main reasons people don't watch (beside the whole lack of talent). Fans want to watch hoops, not a soap opera or alphabet parade or rally! Yes we realize that you are gay. We don't care it's your business. Can you shoot the ball now?! Some of yhe most popular athletes of all time were the least outspoken, and that was a big reason for the popularity. They didn't need a soapbox just talent. Some were outgoing and funny. Some were introverts. But NEVER forced views down your throat. Same reason Hollywood is dying.

The WNBA, in my eyes, has been nothing more than a professional basketball league for gays, lesbians and homosexual women; primarily led by black gay women. Granted there’s some white women in their league that are homosexuals, but it’s seemingly more black women. I can recall tuning in to watch the WNBA, and the black women looked more like transvestites, running up and down the court. They couldn’t make a layup or shoot midrange jump shots that scored points. It just wasn’t an attractive product or basketball game, to watch. Once the homosexuality culture literally became the face of the WNBA, I felt no need to watch or support that league or follow any of their players or teams. Enter the draft class of 2024, and the new faces of the WNBA. Cameron Brink, Angel Reese and Caitlin Clark, and suddenly their fresh faces brought a new enthusiasm to professional women’s basketball. To see the previous WNBA players dress and act like men and this new class of players, bringing and showing their femininity to the league, was exciting and thrilling! From only watching the draft class of 2024, playing for their respective colleges and having successful careers. It was amazing to see how beautiful a lot of the rookies looked, on the night of their draft. I didn’t think of the WNBA as the league of gay and lesbian players, at that moment. But more as a woman’s professional basketball league. Expecting something different from these rookies, upon their arrival. Outside of the obvious malicious hard deliberate hard fouls, towards Caitlin Clark, from seemingly the entire league. The WNBA, has been a better entertaining sport to watch.

I love that you are so real and call it like it is, so they don’t want her to be the face of the league and get sponsorship they are going after her with everything, and they want for her to be focused on activism….no you are absolutely right, it was MJs focus was on being the best at his job, stayed focused on that. Studying the game and his opponents..you made me remember a funny story where Bird asked to the opposite team players if they for real putting a white boy to guard him..he went like you don’t have any more brothers, It’s going to be a long night..!!!..I believe they have always been better relationships among the guys in the NBA than the girls in the W…And I also believe that unless there is a situation where some player or players are racist or homophobic towards another player, then the focus should be the game..At times I think people who turn into the TV to watch the games, are looking for entertainment, and going away from reality if possible, if what they find it’s more of the stuff we all deal with in daily basis, they might turn off the TV, or change the channel…it’s not that we turn our back to issues on the matter, it’s just that we turn the tv on sports to watch sports and sportsmanship, fair play and spectacle to get a break from daily life stress.

The problem some in the Media are mad she got shoe deals and is Marketable. The WNBA is mostly black and my thing is the Black Women in the WNBA don't even stand together. They want her to speak on everything. She is only 22 years old. Clark is not responsible for what others are saying about her. Some Content creators needs to stop creating controversial things. You made alot of sense. Keep up the excellent work.

If you look at the deals that CC turned down, you will see there is a lot more $$$ waiting to come into the WNBA...thats obvious! But they will not put that money into a woke/activist players...and that is obvious as well. The Professional Workplace has to be unbiased for it to be viable.

Girl is just playing basketball she's not a politician she's not a spokesperson for these issues, she's a mf basketball player. Leave her the hell alone and let her play. It's her right.

I appreciate the conversation and opportunity for greater understanding. Caitlin is only 22 years old, her focus has been almost exclusively on basketball for most of those years. Pretty sure there was no college course on "Navigating your position in the national spotlight and using your opportunity to be a force for good in the world." I think her statements so far demonstrate some naivety, which is not a sin. But if I were in here shoes, I would want to be unmistakably clear in condemning the individuals using her notoriety for evil and be forceful with some simple but powerful statements for good and unity. The truth is, she can't avoid the consequences of being in the spotlight, so she has an opportunity to make a difference without it becoming overwhelming.

The WNBA has gotten away from entertaining and has become largely about activism. Even the Commissioners Cup tournament is purposed around making money for various charities including social justice ones. Entertainment sells ! Activism doesn't! This is what has stagnated the WNBA salary growth. Caitlin Clark is box office Entertainment and will make her money with or without the pillar of activism. There is a time and place for everything, but in order for the WNBA to survive and not become too political, they need to engage more in the Entertainment part of the sport by highlighting the players who are talented and have real fan bases translating into ticket sells and viewership.

Man come on now you know as well as I know Michael Jordan never spoke on anything he didn't start speaking on anything until his record started getting broke up by LeBron James in the whole world knows this Larry Bird if you want to know the truth actually did speak racism a long side of Charles Barkley that's just to name a few people now Caitlin Clark it's definitely the face of the WNBA nobody cares about any other player in the WNBA which is the reason why nobody watches the WNBA until Caitlin Clark came into the league so she is the face of the WNBA just like Michael Jordan what's the face of the NBA just like LeBron James has always been the face of the NBA and is still the face of the stop trying to downplay how great Caitlin Clark is and what it is that she does for the WNBA because she has the opportunity to play in another League across the country and play against the the girls in the United States and if she does that nobody's going to watch the WNBA anymore they're going to watch whatever she is.and then when that happens all you little LBGTQ players and all your little people over in the WNBA and social media are going to be talking about how she got scared in the WNBA was too tough for her and then you're going to be complaining because ain't nobody going to be watching this is the problem that I have with social media because they never want to tell the truth
