I I recently went to buy the HOKA walking thinking they would be the most comfortable. After trying then on and walking about the shop.. i turned around and walked out the exit door. I found them to be very hard to walk on and uncomfortable. I was shocked…. They looked pretty colorful though .
@@evilballer topo pretty good. But some brands that are know for tight fits might have a model that has an awesome fit like nike invincible run 3 but its heel lock not so great. So best to try them on. I found brooks fit pretty good. Altra fits good but watch out for very bad heel lock or shoe falling apart.
Yes. I have this pair of Hokas. Have ran a few races with them. The best thing about them is very little foot fatigue. Wonderful shoes. I am 71 yers old.
A word of caution about the Bondi 8. I wore them for 3 months and eventually gave them away. The Max Cushioning sounds great but I was warned by a Physical Therapist that it could cause lower back pain. She was right and i develped low back pain. i believe it was because the max cushioning caused me to bounce up after taking each step. So with the right step the right side fo the back became left and the same happened wih the left step. I felt off balance and it was worse when I tried to run. For my nody type the Arahi 6 has been the best for running and waling. Moderate cushioning could be the best solution for many. Just my experience.
Had a pair of Hokas, paid a bunch of money, never liked them they had a hard plastic right where the arch was, it cut into my arch caused foot problems, won’t ever buy another pair!
I paid about $100 for my Brooks running shoes. They're the most comfortable pair of shoes I've ever owned. I get about 500-600 miles from each pair of my shoes. So that's about 16-cents per mile. My shoes last me about 10 months, so I pay about $2.50 per week for using the most comfortable shoes i've ever worn in my life. I don't think that's over-priced.
This video is idiotic. These are NOT walking shoes. Walking specific shoes are different than running shoes. Running shoes are not the best option for serious walking. Nothing beats a true walking shoe for a walker putting in serious weekly mileage. The New Balance 877 is a great walking shoe. I'll buy it as long as they keep making it.
Dude you need to separate men's and women's shoes. I don't wanna hear about all the features of women's walking shoes in the hokiest voice you can come up with

Hoka sucks. Horrible fit and they have hot spots and also dig into your feet.
@@ChickenNoodle883what’s good then?

I am 71 years old and have raced in these Hokas and love them. Even in a half marathon. Very little leg fatigue.

Asked for walking shoes not running
In my uninformed opinion, the best walking shoe is a good+ running shoe.
We are a brooks shoe family...love them
I re entry converted to Brooks, they are so good idk why I ignored them my whole life till now
New Balance More V4 work for my 70+ year old feet. Most comfort I've ever felt. 😮
Bro its 2023 chill
😂
It's 2024 now 😂
This comment didn't age well :) 😂
It’s 2024 for now

What model do u have?
Hokas are good, but SAS will last longer! I love my SAS and I can get running shoe comfort with a little more style.
SAS?
Any of these have a wider toe box?
Why are all these women's?? Where' the Mens ranking?
In my uninformed opinion, the best walking shoe is the best running shoe.
All these shoes are way too over priced. Do budget shoes, most can't afford to fork out over 100 - 300 for walking shoes.

Bro, 1080 v13 is already out in 2023, why still rate v11?????
Nothing about health about Arches about flat feet nothing if this was not helpful just told you the price👎🏻
I am wearing Hykes Escapes and use them to walk everywhere, best shoes I have owned and will never go back to regular shoes.
Hykes Pinnacle super comfy
Hoikas make me fall forward....no thankyou. I prefer wide fit Propets, better balance for walking.
Tried Hoka, not for me. It’s still On Running for me.
same
Most comfortable shoes
any of these good for over pronation?
I wear Brooks Ariel and Addiction Walkers for over pronation.
@@gemini730lory8 thank you, ill check them out.
Walking isn't an 'adventure'...it's simply an activity
Starts off with Running Shoes. Brain Dead! DO NOT RECCOMEND!
