I’m upset I missed some of these from the 80s but I had my nose stuck in poison and opium ha but the boys all wore the Joop! Ahh I do remember that! But this review had me smiling and giggling
What a review!!!! Love it! As for the perfume-got the vintage extrait today. Oh my....nosegasm. I have the recent EdT also, bit nothing beats the vintage version. As so often with those classic fragrances.

Ahh, I remember those Joop ads, and smelling the Joop por femme, and por homme...they both had a lot of "lift" in them! I really loved them...they seem uplifting and optimistic in expression. The opposite of the Dune vibe...

I assume this would not be a safe blind buy? In my mind, now that you have compared both n.5 EDP and JOOP! Femme to horror movies, I couldn't help but wonder, are they related? Sure, one is barely a horror movie while the other goes into the slasher screeching flavor....still, i couldn't help but wonder....
Oh yes, Joop's Femme is an eighties take on N°5 in many ways. But its a mutant horror film version of N°5. Its like a slasher meets Critters maybe. Haha!

I loved joop femme. It was a very warm,floral,vanilla scent that does not evolve specially or lasts forever on skin or clothes( although it has a good protection),but after a few hours its weak and almost gone. But how said- i loved joop femme until i bought- joop without femme. The vintage version with no barcode and only the flower above the Joop letters. No ingredient list- just a night blue box. And this- is a holy grail i tell you❤. The recent formulation has N O T H I N G to do with it. I get shivers as soon as i smell the perfectly aged vintage joop. Its so complex,rich,luxurious and expensive smelling like you would buy a perfume of clive christian,xerjoff or parfums de marly today.
Those were the days.

A bom?? In the eigties is was a nuclear bom. Not anymore. Smells still very good but not as strong/long as in my Joop time.
