No one mentioned my favorite that I found while at University in Paris and the only perfume I have worn since: Lolita Lempika - her first fragrance lavender color in the apple shaped bottle. Very herbal especially with licorice. Not for everyone but absolutely mine ❤

Burberry Goddess is my HG. I find it interesting that he said he’s not a vanilla lover but gave the vanilla bomb a 10/10. It’s a vanilla bomb but it’s fresh, spicy, and aromatic in a way that doesn’t shout, like Libre or even Black Opium. Perfect for non-vanilla folks because of that aromatic twist with an elevated vanilla that’s not juvenile or in your face. I think he demonstrated this is a vanilla for the people (even non-vanilla people)!
I have Libre and the Burberry Goddess and I love both of them.
Prada Paradoxe is my most complimented perfume.
YSL Le Parfum is so good! The best of the line imo.
My General Manager wears Lancome Idôle. You can smelle her in the corridor and seldom ever leave her office. That fragrance smells like money. Sophisticated, boujee. I love it!!!!!
My mom just bought me Burberry Goddess, and I actually have a little story about it!
My dad drives Uber, and he actually has an intense sensitivity to perfumes because they usually give him a headache. My mom and I can't wear anything that has a strong alcohol note on top (think Chanel, pink designer floral perfumes, or anything from the 80s) and he can't handle a lot of floral scents like rose, orchid, or lilac, so what my mom and I end up getting is a lot of gourmand perfumes. Rich, dark, ambery perfumes that lean a bit more herbal if there are any flowers in it, like lavender or vanilla instead of lilacs or daisies or anything like that. My mother wears Shalimar from Guerlain (I highly recommend it, it's something that has sort of aged out of being an "old lady" perfume pretty recently, I don't know any older ladies who still wear it and the odds are that if you wear it out, people won't even know what it is, I'm in my twenties and no one that I know recognizes it, and it's lovely) and I like to wear that, too, but I wanted something of my own as well, especially if it could layer nicely with the Shalimar that my mother shares with me.
Well, imagine my surprise when one day my dad comes home from driving Uber and he tells my mother and I that one of his passengers was wearing a perfume that was _wonderful,_ and didn't give him a headache, and smelled sweet and beautiful and like "the best kind of vanilla." So, we're of course asking him what it is, and if he got the name of it from his passenger. He did, apparently he made the lady passenger very happy by asking and explaining that perfumes usually give him a headache so he's always on the lookout for perfumes my mother and I can wear without hurting him, and she told him it was Burberry Goddess.
I went and tried it today, and my mother surprised me by just buying it for me since I loved it so much straight away! And my father says, it smells on me just like it did on the passenger he drove, so it seems to be consistently nice regardless of who it's on. It's definitely way sweeter on my skin than it was on the paper, too, so keep that in mind, it hits stronger lavender on paper but it hits super gourmand on the skin.
Edit: I forgot to mention, my father has lost most of his sense of smell, too, and yet somehow can smell Burberry Goddess. So if you're putting on perfume for somebody that can't smell much, try this or Shalimar.
I love Prada Paradoxe. Every time I wear it someone will ask what smells so good. 😊

You two are so good together. No snobbery, just honest and authentic. So good to get the male point of view. I want to smell fantastic. The only one I’ve purchased from reviews that I didn’t like was Tom Ford Black orchid. I think it’s my chemistry that does not work well for it. Really can’t figure the Tom Ford fragrance issue out.

These are always fun to watch. But I'm wondering... to me, fragrances never smell the same on paper as they do on skin. So, idea -- and I understand this would be a big undertaking -- perhaps test/wear a different fragrance every day without telling him what you're wearing, for a week, and record his reactions.

I loveeeeee loveeeeeee Prada Paradox EDP & intense. Got the 50ml as a Christmas gift and I literally had to go buy the 90ml Edp and 90ml intense. So it’s safe to say I have 230ml. Lol. ❤
I have a apprx 200 perfumes and YSL Libre le parfum is the one i get complimented on the most by strangers! But to be fair, 80% of them I havent gotten the chance to wear out yet.

Just to let you know la belle intense by jean paul gaultier needs to be on the skin for at least 2 hours before the true beauty comes out, thats how i fell in love with it.
For me much better is original la belle. It's my signature perfume.

La Belle Le Parfum (sometimes also called Intense) is my compliment getter! Without fail, I get a compliment when I wear it. Does not matter who smells it: men, women, old, young... every single person loves this on me. To my surprise, my awful perfume skin (very dry, I need a lot of sprays to get some projection, most fragrances don't last on me longer than 3hrs, plenty notes don't work on me... yeah, that) really works great with this.
The dry down is indeed delicious and better than the opening, but luckily, I don't need to wait 2 hours for it to be yummy goodness. Very sultry!
I like it much more than the OG, which is a bit lacking, imho. I got a decant and won't repurchase. With the Le Parfum I'm already on my second bottle in 2 years (in case you think that isn't a lot: not only an I chronically ill and can't get out of bed 60% of the week, but my collection is 200+ bottles). I think La Belle will attract mostly younger women, and the Le Parfum/ Intense is more interesting if you're more mature. But maybe I'm wrong.
@murielvanderwesthuizen8553 I like to experiment with my collection, create my own original fragrances to get more out of my collection. Layering is sort of a hobby. I currently have a list of around 90+ combinations. One of my favourites is La Belle Intense with TF Lost Cherry (or a dupe. Actually, most of the dupes are longer lasting and project more than the OG 🤦🏻♀️🤷🏻♀️). You should definitely try it if you happen to own both. It is like making your own flanker ;).
@@misssunnydee i will most definitely try TF lost cherry with this never thought of that combination, i simply just enjoy the la belle intense so much that i am constantly reaching for it, also for me its a compliment getter everytime. And it lasts forever on me. If you are battling with dry skin, try get some normal vit E tissue oil and lather yourself with it after a bath or shower then lather yourself with some thick body butter and then spray the fragrance, i have dry skin too as i am 43 and i find that helps a lot.
The same reaction I had when I smelled Burberry Goddess.. now I know I didn’t make a mistake buying the biggest bottle..

It’s fun to see how everyone is really different when it comes to fragrances. My boyfriend really doesn’t like the very sweet fragrances like Burberry Her. Personally I think Burberry Goddess was a little boring but now I’ll definitely try it again. Maybe I missed something 😂

I hate Prada Paradoxe and almost everything with an orange blossom note. La Belle Le Parfum is amazing, my bottle is halfway gone and I don't have to bathe in it as it's strong.

I don't get the hype on B HER line but I guess ELIXIR must smell better than the original and intense that I found smelling cheap of burnt sugar and a cheap strawberry note, that is maybe why it wins the sexy contest but would loose with all others in classy, sophisticated category .
