It was made in 1988 by German Designer Wolfgang Joop,its a Million Seller and was way more expensive in the 90s.
I bought a bottle based on your and other reviews on you tube. I also bought the Joop for women. Love them both. Last a long time on my skin. Both are for late fall and winter.

Hallo zusammen, LeBain gibt es seit ca. 1985.. D e r Duft in den Discotheken der 80er.
Selbst hatte ich in den 90er mal das rote Homme... Irgendwann habe ich den Rest weggekippt. Umso erstaunlicher, das Homme seit einigen Jahren wieder sehr teuer zu kaufen ist.
Ich selber benutze LeBain noch heute, 2023, um interessant zu riechen..
Und wenn man überlegt, das Douglas den Duft heute noch führt, weiß man was gut ist.
Zum Schluss, meine E-Mail lautet auch auf LeBain.... Alte Liebe eben😊

Pronounced yope, Le Bain, the bath, I have this one, love it, very unisex, soft sillage, projection and strength.
I use this nearly 30 years ago!! Its been my signature scent for sooo long time now....
This is such a great scent. Currently loving scents that remind me of a ‘doll head’ and this does it for me. You got a great deal on an already inexpensive perfume, no wonder you snapped it up! I will have to get my hands on a shower gel too.

I wore this perfume like 30 years ago and loved it. I hope I can get in somewhere again.
I cant wait to find it. I really want to try it. There is one I am looking for that was made the same year called La Lura by Beverly Hills. Found part of a 1 oz. Bottle on Ebay. But no more to be found. This fragrance was me. It brought back many memories. Just wish I could find more. I want to drown myself in the little bit that I have. Lol
I love it. Absolutely love it. I get a tobacco note in there in the mid and dry down. I kinda wish it weren't there, but I'm not mad that it is. Great review! :)

I got this. I realllly really liked it initially but didn't like after it dried down on my skin. On the textiles its nice :)
I have this perfume. I love the smell but it lasts only half an hour on my skin :(

Same after i spray it i can smell it like 30 seconds. Then its gone :(
I have the parfum, I find it great but I have the filing that it doesn't stey to much on my skin.

How close is it to Kenzo Flower? I heard that it is very similar.

I love this one! On me it is kind of cinamony spicy ish as well as super creamy sweetish yummy but clean! Definitly gonna get it! Even though it has patschuli in it and that means my fiance will not like it fore sure 🙈
I wore this perfume approx in 2002, my colleagues were always asking "is somebody baking vanilla cookies here?" when entering my office. Yep, this is how sweet perfume it is. Anyways, I am thinking of getting the 40ml bottle out of the nostalgia :)
Joop gives me almond cookies, I layer it with Roberto Cavalli org. So good!

As Joop are a German company, should 'Le Bain' be pronounced in French or German?
French cause those are french Words and means "the bath". The Designer Joop is pronunced yoop, the y is like the y in "you" and the o is long.Hope this helped
