This pandemic has really helped Malaysians by not having people smoking in public all the damn time. I really wish people can have more control on their addictions.
@bra13vo Most people have three in the right and two in the left because the heart is on the left side and takes up space. But some people have only one lobe in a lung while others have five. Also, in conditions like dextrocardia, where the heart points to the right instead of the left, there may be two lobes in the right lung and three in the left. There's a lot of variation.
The lungs are the primary organs of the respiratory system in humans and many other animals, including a few fish and some snails. In mammals and most other vertebrates, two lungs are located near the backbone on either side of the heart. Their function in the respiratory system is to extract oxygen from the atmosphere and transfer it into the bloodstream, and to release carbon dioxide from the bloodstream into the atmosphere, in a process of gas exchange. Respiration is driven by different muscular systems in different species. Mammals, reptiles and birds use their different muscles to support and foster breathing. In early tetrapods, air was driven into the lungs by the pharyngeal muscles via buccal pumping, a mechanism still seen in amphibians. In humans, the main muscle of respiration that drives breathing is the diaphragm. The lungs also provide airflow that makes vocal sounds (including human speech) possible.
@stepb24 St. John Ambulance volunteer here. The difference is because of the heart on the left side. The left lung has fewer lobes to make room for the heart :)
Smooth relates to it having a smooth feel physical structure, however, it is a smooth skeletal muscle which must be thin so it can perform its action with minimal energy consumption. So it is basically a smooth skeletal muscle, not a skeletal muscle
@@Typaos ok , but it's technically a skeletal muscle because it's voluntary. I just thought what she said in the video was a little misleading, I mean she literally said diafragm is a smooth muscle which is quite different from skeletal muscle in many ways by definition. I just wanted to point that out... however i'm no expert Good luck✌

I didn't know there are 3 lobes in the right lung and 2 lobes in the left lung... interesting. Is there a significance difference between the right and left lung?

The word “lobe” is so perfect

That’s not true

when you inhale oxygen 😂
I slapped your momma oh yeah yeah
Mam what is that membrane which helps the lung to fly when we breath .. plz can u tell me
There is no membrane which helps lung to fly it is just the diaphragm which present lower portion of our lungs which helps it to expand
Accept fly word u can use expand because lungs expand when we inhale it never fly
I didn't know there are 3 lobes in the right lung and 2 lobes in the left lung... interesting. Is there a significance difference between the right and left lung?
Yes, one is bigger than the other
