Guys don't bother chopping and soldering wires :) they won't have made a seperate wiring look for Zetec+ZetecS+ ST etc, take off the old spoiler, unwrap the tape from around the wire and washer hose and gently pull it through the bung. Job done!
This is actually true , I just did this for my fiesta , just take the tape off , and very carefully pull the wire through .. not the same for the wiper tube though

Carlos Fierros The wiper tube would have to be extended; at least that's what was done with mine.

So you don’t actually use the old brake light you need the ST one as the rear screen wash will miss the window as it’s not adjustable.

Hi, I have a standard Fiesta and I'd like to do the same spoiler upgrade, but the supplier is out of stock. Do you know where else I can get an ST-style spoiler? Needs to fit onto a standard 2010 Fiesta, not the ST one.

All these st spoilers have the same fittings for 2008-2017 fiestas. I recently picked one up from eBay which is perfect, they pop up lots on there. Can also try fb marketplace

@@E1EDITSYT so i bought it in gloss black, so I didn’t have to respray it - I can send the eBay link if you like. It came with some wire which we had to solder on to extend the brake light wire, then it was good to go (except no rear washer fluid)
how did you go able the short cable problem and are both cables power to the light?

I got the light thag came with the spoiler and have an idea how to connet it, but its gonna be hard
Definately a lor more secure than my MK6 Spoiler... Only has 2 screws lol, I have to bond it on to keep it from coming loose
The window washer when activated sprays the floor, not the window. The angle just isn't right on this spoiler. Any ideas?
+Diluted Shade Hi - is there an "eyeball" in the middle of the washer that you can direct the direction of the spray - use a pin. This is normal for front screen washers but not sure if its the same for the rear.
+powerfulukltd Nope it's just a hard plastic, no way to change the direction at all. Hmmm. Not quite a direct swap, it's been bugging me for a while
+Diluted Shade Can you look at a genuine one and see where it points ? I will take a look next time our cleaner comes over - she has a genuine Ford Fiesta ST. Another random thought ... you cant rotate it 180 Deg ?

Yes you can I'm on doing this at the moment I'm changing the rear bumper part and the spoiler I'm not sure about the side skirts tho mate

You can cut the plug off, leaving enough to crimp a wire to the existing wire to make it long enough. So basically just get two crimps and a bit of addition wire

If you guys are gonna do this, i hate to be this guy but, make sure it wont invalidate your insurance. I spoke to my insurer and im lucky that they said it would. Otherwise, I would've known non the wiser.

We do some coloured spoilers but currently have no stock of these and won't have any for a month or so, only primer available. Sorry we cannot be anymore help. After installing the st spoiler I have noticed my car keeps showing boot open error. Any ideas what I might have done wrong?
Hi there must be a switch somewhere that tells the car the boot is open - have a look around the edge of the boot for the switch and this should lead you to the problem.
powerfulukltd thank you for replying, I have tried searching for the switch everywhere but can not find it, it might be inside the lock. I can confirm the lock works perfectly but the car shows the boot is open. Even when the engine is off my head lamp flashes all night. Also when driving the car is making error sounds like boot opened then it disappears then it comes back again. I am soo annoyed no one knows what it can be.

Hi probably not going to transform the car ! although on the old MG Metro the rear spoiler added 10% to the fuel economy...

Connor Mcindoe yeah, i bought the spoiler off of ebay for £85, the exact same one in this video, i have a 2010 Ford Fiesta Edge (the most basic form of fiesta i'm pretty sure)

+kekkoz10 Hi - they feel about the same weight and quality but i would agree that if you can afford it the genuine ones are better.
They are awful .. require so much work to be sanded , filled and re primed it's really not worth it. Your better off saving up.
@@nathaaanplayzfn6606 a friend of mine bought a fiberglass spoiler and after three month it broke. For my own car i bought a second hand oem ford spoiler and since november 2017 at today is perfect
All I'm saying is the ones they sell on there website are a waste of money better off getting genuine ford parts.
