Dont forget the abomination Rings of Power & War of the Rohirrim which plans to massively break lore by making the main protagonist female (Phoebe Gittins and Arty Papageorgiou from the upcoming woke War of the Rohirrim will be working on this Gollum movie with Peter Jackson) I expect nothing but the same lazy rushed mediocrity we got with the hobbit trilogy yet this time filled with modern politics (more than the Hobbit had). Based around a supporting character that nobody wants to see as the MC in a movie) Making a movie about Aragorn's young adventures would have been more favorable, but we can no longer trust this rotting version of Hollywood to do anything Tolkien justice.
After Amazons mockery of Tolkiens work I’ve become apprehensive about any new films based on any of Tolkiens books. Peter Jackson made some minor changes but overall respected Tolkiens work. But what Amazon did with their Rings of Power is nothing short of an abomination. So, I’ll wait for the trailer for this one, but with much apprehension. Everything coming out of Hollywood lately has been about social messaging instead of creating a great entertainment product. We will see if they ruin this as well. Sorry for being so jaded, but most real Tolkien fans are kind of jaded right now because of Amazon.
Any story that wasn’t written by Tolkien (more than footnotes) will always be a very pale imitation but you just have to accept if you want more content set in middle Earth that’s what you’re going to get, there’s no getting around it.

I would love to see this movie if it is done right.
After the gollum game that no one asked for, here comes the movie no one wants to know about.
Haha, I didn't like the Gollum game either..
