I will tell you one thing. In real life i am extremely anti social. But I work with customers and I am very successful and very communicative. But when I step out of my office, there is something opposite I represent... I think he was "acting" that way, but started acting differently or started representing new values, started to play a new role... and became more serious with years...

Krist always seemed like a genuinely good guy to me. I definitely disagree with him on some things, especially some comments he made in the past year (which were possibly misconstrued anyway), but all the work he's done for FairVote and Ranked Choice Voting will really make the country better I think. And that's more work towards a better democracy than I've ever accomplished, so who am I to judge him? Man has been thru a lot of trauma and I believe he genuinely cares about humanity. He was always the funniest part of Nirvana interviews and, as many people have pointed out, when Kurt died a part of Krist died too. I hope he's doing well these days ❤

Kinda cool to see how influential and popular grunge and Seattle still were, 2 years after Kurt's passing and with the rise of postgrunge, pop punk, etc. Yet fast forward to 97 with the end of Soundgarden and explosion of electronica and teeny bop bands, and grunge suddenly seemed like a distant memory

Apparently it was too heavy for them to deal with still by then and they packed up and left in a day or so. Have no idea what the material was or if they ever finished the project, did not follow them that closely

Same thing as mafia, gangs, corporations etc. Do to get politicians to sway into their favor. Shouldn't politicians be concerned about what is good overall for the country not what just what someone who can by them off wants. I can understand part of it but if you have to pay someone off they are no better than a crook and you are not much better. They should be willing to listen and you should be able to find better ways. What about donating to a charity of their choice that actually goes to What its meant for.

its not a bad thing to do what krist set up to do with JAMPAC. its not bad to play devils advocate on social media either. Opinions have their own word because they are wavering in nature.. you cant really expect the truth to not be blackballed by two sides of the coin. You cant expect someone doing what krist did to be hailed as righteous and accepted as majority. even though it comes from a good place and i believe krist has a good heart I am deeply convinced the general public has to iron out things naturally. That doesnt mean control or force, ironically its super passive, like how we imagine jesus to be. That passiveness has to be a consistent player who loses until the end when all other options run dry.. but u know history can surprise us all when we get a momentum going, positive change can happen. Its a shame that there are many ways to live life and people will defend those various ways to death. Anyways, i say this because its easy to see how things ended up how they did, and why krist had a rant backfire on him with social media, why krist was able to defend a lot of peoples enemy, i think its safe to say that nobody is smart enough to avoid all the hate. choose your haters. dont give up krist, kurt may have been a very cynical political person who in my ignorant guesses was probably pissing on everyone for their misdeeds while praising certain aspects.. maybe getting just happy enough to give everyone the benefit of the doubt to be liked and nestle calmly into the ghandi prison sentence.. but we gotta remember politics is different than the nirvana. the nirvana was spiritual.. its not really beholden to the rules of resources and politics.. its more beholden to general peace and acceptance. real life is a big ass denial to that philosophy. it only takes 1 meteor to take us out on a whim of the universe. were teetering all the time taking sides and fighting them out. It will never end. we gotta just accept that and get behind things like jampac when we can.. so i guess what im saying is dont let people get ya down bud, fuck that.

Kurt Cobain committed suicide. Krist Novoselic has already said it all, "He should have never done that. He should have never done that, what he did. It happens all the time; it happens every day. I think he was out of his mind on heroin. I remember seeing him those last days, and he was loaded, and so he wasn't thinking clearly when he did that. And after Rome, he tried to kill himself in Rome. And I think he was kind of really weird after that. He was quiet. You know. He should have never done that but he did it. It's terrible. People do it. I was heart-broken when it happened. It was terrible." (Interview for Spin Magazine in 2015)
