But Bhutan does prohibit so many things. Nobody is free to be in love with who they want, no foreigners, no homosexuality. They have to follow traditional rules, wear clothing that is assigned to them. Sounds a lot like a dictatorship, but because they receive all these benefits, free healthcare, land and the ability to grow their own food, the people who live there won't see the controlling aspect. And i actually think in this case that being so strict has created a great place, no chemicals, no pollution, thats amazing! But there also needs to be more acceptance for their people and more freedom allocated to the. Also just curious, is there a jail or prison there? And how many criminals they get or if its a really low percentage

@@hemasingh8033 Not every country. It's quite difficult for foreigners to find work in most developing countries. Only developed countries have such an open door policy. Also, I'd be surprised if Bhutan would allow Indians to easily acquire Bhutanese citizenship. Aside from the demographic changes this would cause, Bhutan would be swamped with people in a country with limited land resources this simply wouldn't be feasible. India being home to almost 1/5 of humanity that would be a silly thing for Bhutan to consider. Would make more sense if Bhutan only opened residency to Europeans, because there are only 2/3 the number of Europeans living in all European countries combined compared to India. Of course that's not going to happen either, because Bhutan is concerned primarily with the happiness of it's people and not foreigners. I'd also be surprised if there were many economic opportunities for foreigners in Bhutan other than in a few limited industries such as tourism, agriculture and mining (assuming the government allows the latter).
