I love that wire wheel technique, I've used it on grey pallet wood that's been baked in the sun and the results are stellar! If you take scotch Brite to the surface afterwards, it smooths out so much like a well worn step.
Gosh, I was just getting used to the Kreg clamp style pocket hole jig I just got one at HD and haven’t even used it yet. Now you got this table style jig from Kreg. I gotta work hard just to keep up. Awesome videos my brother. Jesus is proud of you and your wood working skills. Much Christian love brother.
When I worked at a wood shop, there were a few "tools" that were used. There was a board that had nails protruding out. Mainly, it was a group of nails that were put through a board, then another board screwed over the heads so they didn't fall out when it was hammered. Then, we'd align the board with nails over the wood to be distressed, hammer the top... Walla! a group of "wormholes". We'd also beat the wood to be distressed with a length of chain.
I have that bad habit lol. I did home improvements for 7 years and I always put a line of nails or screws while I was assembling decks or walls or whatever. Lol. I love the tables brother.
I'm so glad I found your channel this year. Look forward to each new video you put out. Really need to take the time to go back and binge out on the older content. No time right now though, got some things to finish up so I can get paid!
Thank you for putting good content out for us to view. I just finished building the coffee and end tables. I did put my own sort of spin on the end table. I routed out holes on each side of the front of the table to install a wireless phone charger. Works perfectly.
Another awesome build!! I’ll be making one! So I’m NOT the only one who’s screw falls off the bit 397 times when building something and still to lazy to hit the bit with a magnet!!
I'm not your "do it yourself around the house kind of guy" (especially with cutting/measuring & using power tools since I don't have any) I am more of a computer nerd, so I would pay good money for this build and the coffee table from your other video. I love this.
I love this table. Thanks again for the tips. Hah, you reminded us not to walk barefoot in your shop... I have to work in safety boots in mine. 😜 Have a great week ahead.
This is nice! We have two tables similar to these but the top is white and no drawers. Our German Shepherd has chewed on the top and bottom shelf and I was looking to rebuild them but I'm gonna make two of these instead as well as the coffee table to match. Thanks for sharing this, it looks great!
Well going to start off by saying I love the build and just might make one here soon. But for your phycology build I actually just built my nephew floating Lego block shelfs to display his Lego builds, I loved how they came out and just brought me back to when I was a kid how I use to love building with Legos!
Mr. Peech, what are the slide lengths please?! Let me tell y’all…Finishing up the coffee table and starting on two of these now and it turned out absolutely beautiful. I decided against distressing and repainted and used a lighter stain (top and bottom) followed by satin lacquer. Also went pretty extreme with the wire wheel. It’s just beautiful. Do this now, you’ll be rewarded! Thank you sir, for the cut list!
I’m glad I stumbled onto ur videos after watching just one video I had to subscribe. Love your mood ur attitude sense of humor and ur knowledge. I had to subscribe great job.
I saw you had a wedge under one of the legs at the 4:45 mark. This type of thing happens to me all the time. How do you fix it? Love the videos!!! Keep them coming!! Thanks
I might be watching a lot of your videos nearly back to back :) I took away the existence of those gas struts. Never even knew they existed. So yes, I've learned. Still building up the skills to *use* them the way you have here (seriously, the skill you show in these builds is really nice to see). Thank you again!
I really like Matt's approach to wood working. I loved this build. Plans were easy to understand and the pocket screws made things very fast. However, I had problems with the some of the hardware and the individual at Lock Connections was very difficult to deal with. I recommend finding the hardware elsewhere. Sorry Matt if you make a kickback from them, but I'll never order from them again... however I will continue to watch your videos.
Your video's are top shelf!! The information you provide along with the instructions are easy to follow and fun to watch. Love the way you hammer yourself on the little mistakes we all make. Me, way more than you. :-). The provided handy links have helped me immensely. Thank you sir!!
You used spray paint for the base? If so, can you provide which ones? This look is perfect! I’ve never used spray paint for furniture so I’m really curious.
I loved the outtakes. Talkumentary should be a word. Submit it to the Webster dictionary people for approval after you copyright it. Excellent video as always and full of great tips.
Awesome build! I like the kaizen inserts specifically for the candy lol! I don’t know if I’ve ever seen a UA-cam video where someone actually included numbers or letters for each part is there went through like you have done… That’s pretty cool that you tailor this specifically to help someone build it with your plans. I also like that you have a sense of humor about yourself. Good work!
The comment about his stomach being in the picture had me coughing and wheezing, love watching your videos when I'm taking breaks in my shop - especially after those mistakes that make me gotta take a minute. Love seeing the human mistakes!!
Excellent job. I have been thinking about a good way to use RFID in a project. If I can recreate this table maybe I can also do some floating shelves also. Thanks
My only issue with rifle concealment stuff is needing a tag or card. If I need whatever is in there, I dont want to have to reach in my pocket or wallet. Do you know if the lock will work with RIFD rings? I've seen some that are programmable. If the "key" is on my hand, I'd be wanting to build all kinds of stuff.
Another awesome build project. Pushing me to want to make some saw dust. What was your pricing plan for both concealment tables? Did you include the foam, or was it an upgrade option?
I like all your work, thank you. I am trying to figure out what measuring tool you are using at time 2:00 through 3:00 to make sure your boards are in place. I went back and looked at your must have tools videos but I did not see it there. Could you please tell me so I can purchase one? Thank you

Oh yea! Nice!
I just bought both sets of plans!! Can't wait for the build!
Love from Finland! Just got accepted to a wood artisan school, can't wait to start making money woodworking! ❤️
Your mistakes and acknowledging that you didn't use clamps immediately made this my favorite video.
I would LOVE to spend just one day with you in the shop so I could learn from you. That table is bad ass!
wow, I'm about six or seven builds behind you. you put out so many projects I want to do but time, work, the household maintanence
I feel ya. It all takes time. Go at your pace and the projects will be waiting for you when you can. Enjoy!
I have that bad habit lol. I did home improvements for 7 years and I always put a line of nails or screws while I was assembling decks or walls or whatever. Lol. I love the tables brother.

Awesome! Thanks for the support!
Lol…yeah I have that habit and it drives my wife nuts!
Thanks for the build…I really enjoyed it and I WILL be building several sets of them!
Not to get distracted from the video, but I love your miter saw dust collection bay in the back 🤣👌 I just may have to do something like that
It works pretty good for the fine stuff.
As always... Great Job. thanks for what you do and how you share every step of the process. I love the Humor as well.. lol
Gotta laugh at yourself sometimes you know?
Always look forward with anticipation to your next video, I much out of them and just enjoy listening to you describe the process
Absolutely a sick build
Another awesome build!! I’ll be making one! So I’m NOT the only one who’s screw falls off the bit 397 times when building something and still to lazy to hit the bit with a magnet!!
You’re really good Matthew. Great thoughtful ideas that stimulate the creative brain cells 😊
That was a great build! Kinda felt like Bob Ross was doing the voice over, smooth! Thanks. I will save this one for sure!
You never disappoint sir. Another excellent video. Thanks
Love you a little group offs they make my day
Been making these tables for a few years now! Always sells good!
Everyone loves a concealed build.
What is a good price point for these tables
I was wondering the same.
As am I. I know every location is different, but a starting point or reference price would be great!
OMG 😂 that opening is classic. I had to holler for my wife to come and see it.
Wow, I was not expecting the gas strut and motion LED when I clicked on this. That was an awesome surprise! Great stuff man, I'm hooked.
I'm not your "do it yourself around the house kind of guy" (especially with cutting/measuring & using power tools since I don't have any)
I am more of a computer nerd, so I would pay good money for this build and the coffee table from your other video. I love this.
This might be another winter project. Thanks!
No worries!
😉👍 another great project, brother
People are loving the snowflakes. Definitely going to build this table!
Nice!!

These concealment builds are awesome!

Now I didn't expect the candy....sweet idea! 😁
You’ve got some pretty solid builds, it’s nice you put in the instructions out as well.
EXCELLENT video and HILARIOUS as hell !
Love it !
Lol thanks!
Another great build Mathew
Matt that table is very cool
I applaud you for being able to fasten pocket holes without a clamp and them not shifting. I have to use clamps or they end up horrendous. LOL
Another awesome build kid!! Love your work
This is a must try and build it!!!!
Man, you are a master and great teacher
Another excellent DIY video
I absolutely Love your woodshop!
Well going to start off by saying I love the build and just might make one here soon. Always love these videos. Currently watching from my hospital bed. Can't wait to get outta here and try some of these out
Hope you get out of there soon!

Thank you very much.
Klein tools and husky make a small magnatizer / demagnitizer for the screw dropping! Grate videos man !!
Great Video! You look like Shawn Ellingson that drives Murder Nova!
Very very cool
I’m glad I stumbled onto ur videos after watching just one video I had to subscribe. Love your mood ur attitude sense of humor and ur knowledge. I had to subscribe great job.
Love it!!
Thanks!
Very cool build.
Thanks!
Looks great! For staining I’ve been using the cheap kitchen sponges for years, just cut them in half and they fit easy into your stain can👍🏻
Nice.
You just changed my life.
Love this guy
I saw you had a wedge under one of the legs at the 4:45 mark. This type of thing happens to me all the time. How do you fix it? Love the videos!!! Keep them coming!! Thanks
Another good one!!
Even watching you for a while but I just realized I had not subscribed! Love your work!
Thank you!
I love your videos... informative and entertaining.
Great video and unique take on woodworking how to. Glad I found your channel!
Awesome, thank you!
I like all of your stuff. I just need to get the motivation to start building something
I actually need a table like this. This will be my task for the week!

Really enjoy the homework assignments. Love the creative process.

Ps-
Hola from Texas !!
Nice table. Do you dry your construction lumber before using for a project like this?
You used spray paint for the base? If so, can you provide which ones? This look is perfect! I’ve never used spray paint for furniture so I’m really curious.

Lol I had to comment on it…. thanks for the support!
Awesome! Thanks for sharing; you have really great inspiring ideas.
Nice work
Excellent job. I have been thinking about a good way to use RFID in a project. If I can recreate this table maybe I can also do some floating shelves also. Thanks
I do have a concealment floating shelf if you haven’t seen it. It’s in some of my early videos.
That’s cool!
Love your content brother!
I..m from the South too. I'd desscribed yo'r handy work as, 'cleaner then ah Safeway chicken!'
Lol I like it.

nice job, first video of yours ive seen.
Another awesome build project. Pushing me to want to make some saw dust. What was your pricing plan for both concealment tables? Did you include the foam, or was it an upgrade option?
Looks good
Lol love the intro.
Great video... have you ever used hardwood flooring ( new in box 📦 ) to do table tops or bottom shelves?
I appreciate that you put the cut list in the description, however, could you start putting the materials or lumber list too please?
Very nice.
Man, just found the channel and love it! Keep up the great work!
Nice build! I do have that nasty habit also. 😅I thought it was just me. Thanks.
I like all your work, thank you. I am trying to figure out what measuring tool you are using at time 2:00 through 3:00 to make sure your boards are in place. I went back and looked at your must have tools videos but I did not see it there. Could you please tell me so I can purchase one? Thank you
