dark souls 3 is my favorite souls game and i agree that the levels are not that good but the bosses in this game are crazy. u didnt even mention the DLCs which i find kinda weird.
I wanted to keep it just the core game, if i do DLCs it will probably be in a separate video. That's also why I didn't talk about bosses like Slave Knight Gael or Artorias. I agree with you though, DS3 bosses are my favorite next to Elden Ring! :)
@@askeladden450 I’m not hating on any of them they are some of my favorite games! It’s a ranking on which games I prefer more, all of it is just my opinion and you are free to have yours too. 👍
@therealcraig1 yeah not talking about you ofc, but there are people who really hate on some games like ds2 like they are the worst games ever made. Like sure may not be as good as the others but nowhere near bad enough to hate.
@ I think a lot of people hear games like DS2 not being as good as others in the franchise and assume that means it’s a bad game in general. While I don’t think it’s the game for me, I definitely enjoyed watching it. All love brother ❤️
@MJJ200 ds3 has a terrible hub, very linear, like elden ring a terrible selection of weapons and a lack of individuality in builds, in elden ring and ds3 there is a huge selection of weapons, but it doesn't matter because everyone uses the same 10 weapons, bosses are all fast, fast doesn't mean good, the only good boss in dark souls 3 was nameless king, bosses had no diversity and they were all easy, they were the same thing recycled, all the souls games have bosses that are retextured and a new name is slapped onto the boss but it has the same attacks , ds3 bosses have different physical aspects but the fights are all the same, roll, r1r1, roll, r1r1, it's worse than the other souls games because they try and say that the bosses are different entities when they are not, they could of at least owned it if they were gonna copy and paste the same thing, ds2 has the best builds in the series, ds2 had armor that had special modifiers to help cater a build to your liking and make your drip match your build, armor is not interchangeable like the other games, armor is a lot more tied to your character and the personality you create for them, ds2 had the best hub of the series, it is the least linear of them all, there are essentially 8 areas you can head towards at the start, ds1 has 2, you either go to gargoyles or blight town, ds3 has 1, ds3 was also plastered with a ugly filter that made the game look way to sharp, so sharp that it looks blurry, so much so that modders have to make mods to remove the filters the game put over everything, ds2 has an amazing roster of bosses, and the dlcs are all amazing with varying environments, all of ds3s areas feel, look, and play the same, the only bad thing I can say about ds2 is the fact iron keep is theoretically floating in the sky, ds1 would be great, but after replaying I realized it was poorly and cheaply made, with lazy design, the first time I played the souls series I thought ds1 was the best, then ds3, then ds2 sucked, after replaying, I realized I had played ds2 wrong, my opinion switched to, ds2, ds1, and then ds3, ds2 also has the adaptability stat, ds1 had the perfect roll, but it was too slow for the next game, ds3 was too fast and the s are busted and stamina is broken, you can spam roll and spam r1r1, in ds1 you would be punished for that, ds2 aswell, but in ds2, the gender you pick alters how you use consumeables, adaptability alters how you use consumeables, and it creates the perfect middle ground for the roll between ds1 and ds3

Bro you should have made an F tier just for ds2
ds2 is easily arguable as the best of the souls series
@ name me one thing that ds2 does better than ds1 or ds3
@@MJJ200bonfire ascetic, hub world (majula), atmospheric osts etc. But i would still rank ds2 below ds1&3

@totallynotmymainaccount5247 I would say it's fair to put ds1 above 2 but 3 is so bad I think it's worse than elden ring
put dark souls 2 in its rightful spot
He did, lol. Soul Memory absolutely ruined the game.
