"Beautiful brutality" sums up this game.
I wholeheartedly agree. Carlos is a spectacular graceful beast.
Hyperbole much 😂
Amazing what Carlos does. 20 yrs old and already such a high tennis player. Such a charismatic guy in every way. Sporty and very sympathic. Enjoy to see him playing. The way he controls the game and under such a high pressure (temperature)playing this game is extraordinary. Vamos Carlos!!
Like i said in other videos, Carlitos is my favorite player of all time, and i like tennis since 1987...It says it all! The fastest, ever, an unreachable technic, and he smiles all the time, even when he loses. Plus, i met him twice this year for Roland Garros and he's very kind! I just love him! Vamos!!
Your favorite player of all time, but you don't even know his name. Hint: it isn't Carlo or Carlito.
@@sananton2821 Well the fact that he doesn't like his name Carlos, and would rather be called Carlitos is no-ones business. Maybe this commenter knew something you didn't know. Either way, you knew who she was on about, so why belittle someone expressing her opinion?
@@sananton2821🤦♂️🤦♂️🤣🤣🤣🤣
We are blessed to be witnessing this.
@@mufasasdaughter4831 So true !
it's impossible to beat him if he plays like that. He is everywhere and has no weakness.
Especially if his opponent is going to stand off the tennis court. How far was Zverev back from the baseline? 10ft? No chance from there.
maybe he uses addictive magic pills
@@virtualbownBecause Zverev cannot outpower someone like Alcaraz from the baseline. He ain't no Nadal. If you play that far behinde the baseline against Alcaraz you better hit the ball harder, faster and more precise than him otherwise he will outpower you easily or he surprises you with the nastiest dropshots ever.
Except Djokovic can
Very true, a different level to cinci. He was netting alot of shots there, not the case here.cant c him lose with the way he's playing
4:48 tons of backspin
5:05 grip change
5:07 eye on the ball
funny
Class by Zverev comment to Alcaraz at the end - "go win it."
don't they almost always say that now?
Been waiting for this extended highlights all day. lol
Same here lol😅
Goodness gracious! Alcaraz is in a league of his own!
He has all the strengths and no weaknesses.
I will be amazed if even Djokovic ever beats him again.
Uhm… he has just recently done it in Cincy…
MEDVEDEV SCHOOLED HIM IN 4
"Alcaraz is in a league of his own!" Ok ok, calm down now :)
Medevdev not only destroyed him ! He schooled him how to play on the hard court!
Tennis fans try not to exaggerate challenge (impossible)
We love tennis. These guys are amazing athletes. Thank you for playing such clear video. We love this channel just as much.
Alcaraz is so exciting to watch. Zverev played well, but still couldn't make a dent in the Alcaraz blitzkrieg. To his credit, Zverev's footwork is so much better now than it used to be, particularly after that incident in the French Open 2022 semi-final vs Nadal when Zverev sustained a gruesome ankle injury as a result of incredibly clumsy footwork. In this match, Zverev's footwork was immaculate, but still not enough to defeat Alcaraz.
MEDVEDEV took him out .
@@user-mx3tl3bh9n I was gobsmacked!
alcaraz is a freaking genius on the tennis court
Alcaraz is an artist!
Alcarazs forehand has just become so accurate and comes back to the opponent so fast its unplayable
extended highlights? you mean regular 2min highlights with 16min slow-mo replays....
Alcaraz is like a genetically-engineered tennis superhero.
My CHAMPION CARLITOS 💕 played WORLD CLASS and beat ZVEREV with 6:3 6:2 6:4 👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾‼️ THANK YOU from KARIN ❤️
Alcaraz is unreal! The range of technique he has puts him in charge of more plays than his opponents. But I think his athleticism and endurance is his ultimate cheat code.
10:48 is just stunning
I have never seen such a powerful forehand
Del Potro, González?
Roger?
Powerful, accurate and consistent. Dangerous combination.
What Alcaraz is showing, no one has ever done so well. With this kind of game, no one has a chance against him.
I think he'll beat Novak again in the finals of U.S. Open 2023- if he maintains this level, like at Wimbledon- I don't see Novak stopping him bo5- unless he has like 5 toilet breaks!😄
@@pauljohnson6019 Yes You are right
Sauf Shelton ou Novak... nous le sauront bientôt
@@guybayle3177 Dear friend, I would like Novak to lose, but there is no chance. Shelton played one match against a player who is not on the level of Novak and Carlos, and that is nothing. The real pleasure will be on Sunday if there is a Carlos-Novak final,
LOLOLOL MEDVEDEV SCHOOLED HIM 4 SETS
EASY .
Almost 100% of Alcarez's serves were in the low 100's, whereas Zverev's were often in the 130's. I guess Alcarez was (very successfully) relying on placement rather than speed in this match.
Not since Federer have I watched a player and screamed "what the f\/ck was THAT?!"
Jut amazing!
Carlos Alcarez has the resilience of Nadal, the power of Djokovic and the artistry of Federer. And he's only 20 years old. I wish him the very best of luck. He could become the GOAT of tennis.
He couldn’t because Roger is the goat and can’t be surpassed ever. No one will play as elegantly and beautifully as him. Period. A two hand backhand player can’t be considered goat not by a long shot
HE LOST AGAIN
The GOAT of tennis is Djokovic
@@djanguidini I didn't say he was, I simply stated that he could become one.
Great win, well done 👏❤️
thanks for the extended highlights
Умница,красавчик,универсальный теннесист!!!как у него всё это отлично получается!!!!
Was waiting for extended
this kid is a monster . its like if djoko and nadal had a kid carlos would be that kid
He has Djoko’s skill and Nadal’s mentality. Also Nadal plays very clean drop shots.
He himself said he based his game on Roger than other two
Epic match. Go Alcaraz!! The only down side is that this extended highlight came a bit too late
1. How is it possible that half the seats are empty?
2. This young master is such a fresh breath to watch. His movements are like poetry, he has the heart of a lion, the finesse of a Japanese craftsman and the speed and power of a panther. He’s fully engaged with every fiber. So much more enjoyable to watch than the dull smug face of Medvedev with his floppy swing.
Heat. Simply as that. There were a gazillion little problems with the heat in NYC right now and in some matches people needed medical attention. Not everybody can stand it and its even impressive that those guys play tennis while others pass out .
late night match
well medvedev with his floppy swing schooled him
Watching Carlos play really is like watching Federer with the weapons and physical brutality of Nadal and a touch of Djokovic
he does not play like federer at all though
@@antonk.5087Carlos absolutely plays with the physical brutality, skill set, and a lot of the elegance of young Federer; the combined decision making of an older Federer and Nadal; the speed and some of the interesting shots of Nadal (and the grunts lol); and a fair amount of Djokovic’s unique mobility and big moments factor.
Just because he doesn’t have a one handed backhand and plays his backhands with a slightly open stance more often than Federer does not take away from the fact that Alcaraz’s playbook is straight from Federer. He just has the young legs to defend like Federer used to do.
Go watch Federer from the early mid 2000s. Probably around 2004
Carlos will win against Medvedev in straight sets! Medvedev playstyle suits well Alcaraz!
000000000х00000х0х000хх00
This aged well 😂
Medvedev crushed him
Oops
@@lavter5639 Just like Medy will crush Novak same fashion like two years ago
Vamos !
Lol extended slow mo highlights of Z jumping over a bench. They didn't even finish the Lendl anecdote either
KING CARL ! 🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉
Along with the insane display vs Evans, this was his best match by far in the tournament
Why was the crowd so silent during majority of the match even during incredible points from both
10.59🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥 best part of the game.
None of the mistakes that he had in Cinci.😊

This is exactly why I’ve stated on another video that Ben Shelton is going to be a big deal very soon.
😅
It still bewilders me that these professional tennis players haven't learned to deal with drop shots, even when they get to it. Zverev kept on hitting the ball right back to Alcaraz for an easy put away. The best strategy is to fight a drop shot with another drop shot, simply by dinking it right over the net. Of course, it is easier said than done, but that's why the pros practice daily.
Super talented alcaraz...!
Phenomenal
When Zverev was telling Alcaraz “ Go get him” at the net who was the “him”? I hope he wasn’t referring to Nole😂. Many believed Medvy was no problem for Alcaraz. That’s really unfair for a player of Daniel’s status.
Hate the excess use of slow motions. This is highlights not expansion of the full match.
Alcaraz is so stunningly beautiful. The most beautiful man in the world in this moment in time.
This man is the future.
great thanks for the highlights much appreciated...buta...can we fix the res please? 720p i can see that ball pixelate like a muthafu...common man this is 2023 theres 8k for crying out loud...
The smiling assassin love this player alcaraz
Was waiting for this all day.... thanks
Impressionnant
!! ALWAYS great to have Mary Carrillo on commentary - miss her much !!
guaranteed: if Novak manages to work out the same amount of break chances against Alcaraz, he will convert some of them. THAT was the biggest difference between Z and A on that given day! The so called muscle tear mentioned by Z in the presser seems a mere excuse for not being sharp enough.
Sorry buddy MEDVEDEV is playing NOVAK. MED DESTROYED HIM. 4 SETS
I think Alcaraz is the kinda “Rocky Balboa” of tennis. 🤔💪🎾
The top 3 seeds basically ran over their opponents in the quarter-finals. Dominant straight set wins. It's gonna be tight.
One thing will stand forever in this us open edition, the “impossible “ Alcaraz outfit.
211 km/h exceptionnel
On croyait avoir tout vu avec RF et RN mais encore une fois les limites sont repoussées
Bravo CA
The final Djokovic vs. Alcaraz will be brutal
What final are you talking about?
On n'a déjà épuisé tous les adjectifs pour qualifier Carlos Alcaraz. Et il n'a que 20 ans!
that shot at 14:13 ... sooo difficult to execute
This, and the other brilliant drop volley at full stretch
Explosive like Mike Tyson 😊
720p, really ?!
Novak had fed now carlos has novak and he is more complete than anyone at 20. Who knows how far he will go.
His Federer-inspired creativity is coming in now and it is unreal
Beautiful masculine battle, with gorgeous aesthetics and a deserved win by Alcaraz❤
Bit too much fan girling from commentators. Constant gushing is tiresome.
Djokovic has taught him very well
👏👏👏!
Carlos , the only way you can win over Novak is to make him running for every single points, every time , don’t matter what , when he getting very tired , he can run, he can serve, you don’t have to feel sorry for him , you just have to execute aggressive , when Novak not relax uncomfortable zone , he can’t function, lose his cool , no patience, everything went wrong , I’m pretty sure , He’ll lose the game
Carlitos is gunna win it
I think that you were wrong
I didn't think putting up almost 20 minutes of masssacre on UA-cam was legal
10:58 - the sheer brutality and drive in these shots…
Nadal is my goat but Carlos is going to be better
Jude Bellingham Celebration 🙌🏻 HALA MADRID!!
its not his celebration lol

this different body language. the fundamentally different attitude Carslos is aware of his strength, his feel for the ball, his dominance. Alexander...no feeling, no power, no accuracy...but always talking about his team not working well enough...that his ex would tell lies... Carlos will pulverize all records in tennis. he will be the greatest of all time before he is as old as his previous record holders. By his late 20s he would have left everyone far behind.
He’s looking to be the Best player ever but I hate the grunting and the nasty fist pumping , please somebody tell him 😮
