As I often play healers in rpgs, the Astartes Apothecaries always get my absolute respect (and the Space Wolves' apothecaries doubly so!). We've all had to go chasing around after the Tank shouting at them to stand still. Now imagine it's a whole Chapter of Tanks. I'd imagine that most of the rude words being screamed on the battlefield are the medics screaming "Will you bloody well slow down for Emperor's sake!" Thank you once more Mr Mort, I'm hoping that you're feeling better without the tender ministrations of an apothecary, and that you're looking forward to hitting the 40k subs mark! Did a massive sweep and clear mission in Baghdad. Going fast and hard house to house, after a dozen I was starting to get tired but my team didn't slack so I didn't. 8 hours and a hundred houses later it was done. Once finished I asked them if they ever got tired, they looked confused 'we were just trying to keep up with you'

Man I fucking love the wolves. I love the whole lore behind them and i also love how their scouts are the old ones, the last ones left out of their packs and the young ones are the cannon fodder, brings an entire new meaning to baptised in blood especially with the wolves and their gene flaw. How they have to channel their temper and rage but also harness it to be the best close quarters chapter out of them all.

I've been into 40k and loved the lore since 4th ED. I have never thought of the battlefield from their point of view, which surprises me. So I must say GREAT JOB Baldermort!
I once used a wraithguards wraithcanon and blew up a Primaris dude using D6 damage rolljng a 6 and the guy brought his unit back next turn saying they could be brought back with apothecaries. I have never played with that guy again

Viggo Ulf is likely to be a Wolf Priest, the Space Wolves Chapter's combined role of both apothecary and chaplain. From your narration, he sure did a fine job at riling up his fellow battle brothers with a scond wind. I can imagine his chainsword as his backup weapon to his Crozius Arcanum or even dual wielding in each hand as needed.
I'm building a new homegrown chapter after years of playing the Rout. The Wolf Priest is the unit I'll miss most. The Apothecary with Chaplain levels of "COME GET SOME!!"

I've been into 40k and loved the lore since 4th ED. I have never thought of the battlefield from their point of view, which surprises me. So I must say GREAT JOB Baldermort!
I once used a wraithguards wraithcanon and blew up a Primaris dude using D6 damage rolljng a 6 and the guy brought his unit back next turn saying they could be brought back with apothecaries.
I have never played with that guy again

It wasn’t the rules. It wasn’t the annoyance. It always the ‘I’m going to browbeat you and try to get one up’ type thing. I honestly thought he was going to try to lamp me one when I packed. Smiling.

Viggo Ulf is likely to be a Wolf Priest, the Space Wolves Chapter's combined role of both apothecary and chaplain. From your narration, he sure did a fine job at riling up his fellow battle brothers with a scond wind. I can imagine his chainsword as his backup weapon to his Crozius Arcanum or even dual wielding in each hand as needed.
