I first fell in love with the Ruger Mini-14 in 1983 at 11 when The A-Team debuted where they used the Ruger AC556 bodies/folding stocks on the regular Mini-14s. First time I saw an AC556 select fire with the 13 inch barrel was the 1988 made for TV movie 'In The Line of Duty-The FBI murders' (at the time, I never knew about those) An AC556 was also used in the 1987 movie Fatal Beauty. Had a regular used Mini-14 late 80s/early 90s and again in the early 2000s. Just got a brand new Mini-14 Tactical synthetic blued 16.10 inch barrel w/AC556 style birdcage. Upon watching another youtube channel video showing the Samson A-TM being installed on a current production Mini like mine earlier this month, I immediately ordered one from Samson. Unfortunately, due to very high demand, and after calling them, lead time is 90 days from date of order. That said, one of my biggest childhood dreams hopefully arrives early October 2023!!!
I ordered the stainless version for my tactical stainless model. It took just under 3 months and it arrived. I absolutely love this stock the workmanship is top quality. I highly recommend this to anyone with a Mini14 you can always swap it out for your original stock any time you want! Two thumbs up Samson 👍 👍
Not that it matters functionally, but on the original ones the forward sling swivel is on the left side of the gas block. All of the others with the full/ original type stock are directly underneath as the one in the video is.
Ordered mine when I had the money.. never charged my card until it was ready.. then I didn’t have the money once they were ready to ship and charge lol.. sooo now I don’t have it. Thanks Samson.
Looks great. Get an M14 style heat shield on it. Yes, the op rod is exposed, but that's what the M14 and M1 were like. I had to cut mine to fit, but it looks and feels world's better
Hi...bought a 1978 version of the weapon in your video. Would like to replace my "A team" version with a conventional rifle stock.... Any ideas where to look for inexpensive one?... Thanks. .
Is the GB model the tactical model? I know the tactical model has a shorter barrel and might look better and be more compact. But, I like the original wood stock of the Ranch rifle and don't see a wood stock offered on Ruger's website with the tactical model. I basically want the wood stock and stainless steel if I switch back and forth.
I ordered mine from Mounts Plus in February. They still have no clue when it's coming back in stock. Definitely should of ordered from the manufacturer.
I haven't shot it much in 15 years or more, but find it funny how impatient I am on this 90 day wait. I have it's 1022 version on the way too. I see them selling alot of them and even boosting mini 14 sales. Way cooler then the butter creek it's been in the whole time. The ar is 50's technology
In 1985 I had a 10/22 with a ramline folding stock that looks so much like your baby there. We can't even own weapons like these anymore in Australia, I live in the most woke crap country in the world now. 😮💨
Probably one of the greatest looking guns of all time.
Got that right!
I absolutely love My A-TM Mini 14. I put my 580 series tactical in almost a month ago. It's my childhood dream gun.

Ordering mine today.
Gorgeous
I might muster $250 for this stock. I like my traditional stock but I would change it in a heartbeat for this.

Is this legal to order in California? just to own not to install since it would be against the "assault" weapons ban
Wow, nice gun. I love the 80's and this gun.
If there were a non-firing replica available, I would buy one immediately.

Guhaaayyy
That gap is a lit big on the for end. Could be tighter.
Does anyone still make the intergrated front sight on the end cap on the front of the stock like the ac556,
The part really finishes the look.
Did you see the rail that Samson makes also
I see many ruger but i need this ruger
"What's cheap anymore." :(

orderd my A-TM stock last month, should have it in September. Update, they said it should be middle of October.
They're are really nice! Enjoy!
I heard the stainless ones were shipping closer to one month. Ordered mine a couple weeks ago. Ridiculously excited for it.

@@usmcguy6478 I talked to one of the guys at mounts plus and they said middle of October. I ordered mine in June.
@@travismcgreat3823 I received mine in SS after a month.

Damn that is noice

Looks almost like ac556
Thanks for commenting!
If you talked about it I apologize but how does the quality of the wood part of the stock shape up compared to your original? Thanks
More or less on par with oem ruger wood.
@@pourindiesel Thank you ! :)
What's the overall length of the mini when your stock is folded? I think I'd like it for home defense
The barrel on the gb is 18" so if you're looking to go shorter, the newer tactical models are 16".
kruger from gta vice city!!!!!!
Hey bud I heard a rumor that they won’t shoot with the stock folded ? Is that true ?
Odd rumor...fires perfectly open or closed.
@@fredmartin328 ok then I’m getting one I do love that look and my two minis are awesome! Thanks
I don't know why everyone wants the Ateam gun.. they never hit anything.
No, but they looked good doing it…
No kidding, right? Spray 5.56 around and hit no one.
@@rd1084 maybe that’s true, but they looked good doing it
The newer mini-14 have improved accuracy. They're pretty decent shooters
You can accurize this rifle with an attachment on a barrel. For under 400 bucks, puts it to 3 moa.

If not available in Pakistan then how i can get this gun please guide me i am from Pakistan
Looks like birchwood, walnut would be nicer
Is this available in Pakistan please tell me
Do you have to register this as an SBR? Thanks.
It's not an SBR. It's a full length barrel
Not a SBR, it's a title one firearm (ie 18" barrel and oal over 26").

Should work on any new mini.
